Busy store in a convenient location. I've had good and not so good experiences with waiting lines; recently I've seen improvements in the pharmacy's staffing and efficiency. Tip: make sure to download the Express app and upload your prescriptions - that way you can use the short line because there are often 3+ people in the regular line for prescription pick-up. Be aware: the pharmacy closes from 12:30 to 1:30 pm for lunch. I've been caught a couple of times forgetting this, and I see several other comments about the inconvenience. Overall, the CVS staff is friendly and the store is clean and organized. A large selection of products - I'm almost always able to find what I'm looking for - except Luden's Sugar Free Cherry lozenges (bummer). They have several self-checkout machines to get in and out quickly. Plenty of parking available. read more

We visited on Saturday around 4:30pm. The place was buzzing with people, but didn't feel packed. Lots of people were hitting the need assistance button on the locked cabinets and staff were being paged. A lot of items are locked up. Thankfully the Vaseline lip balm that I needed wasn't one of them. Never being in the store before I was able to still quickly find the item I needed. My husband found some aftershave that he needed also. We were in and out in less then 10 minutes. There was no line at the self check register. We should have made 2 purchases as we could have had 25%off the second item using the coupons that spit out of the register when you complete a purchase. They even sell what appears to be handmade soaps. Located in a private lot next to All American Donuts and next to Noah's Bagels. There was plenty of parking. read more

Extremely Poor Service and Passing Off Responsibility I had one of the most frustrating pharmacy experiences I've had at CVS. When I arrived, I waited in line about 10 minutes before reaching Jon at the counter. He told me my prescription wasn't there and directed me to go wait in the drop-off line. I did exactly that. The employee working the drop-off counter was on the phone for a very long time. I stood there waiting for at least another 15 minutes while she stayed on the call. During that entire time, Jon was no longer helping customers and could clearly see me standing there waiting. Eventually I walked back over and asked if anyone else behind the counter (there were five people working) could help me because I was on a time constraint. At that point John reluctantly checked the computer, but told me he might not be able to help because he only had five minutes before lunch. So after standing there for roughly 25-30 minutes, waiting where I was told to wait, I was essentially being told I might be out of luck because they were closing for lunch. In the end, Jon did finally look it up and discovered that my prescription had actually been sent to the wrong pharmacy, and advised me to go there instead. But the bigger issue is the complete lack of coordination and basic customer awareness. Multiple staff members were behind the counter, I was visibly waiting for a long time, and no one stepped in to help until I pushed for it. Horrible customer service by the pharmacy phone line. Some business Jackass thought it would be a good idea to answer pharmacy questions with AI. It doesn't work well, might even compromise HIPAA regulations with the incorrect answers it gives. It doesn't allow you to speak with anyone in the pharmacy. I've been with them for decades and now I'm moving on to a pharmacy with better customer service. Suggest you find an alternative as well. read more

Review is for their Minute Clinic: This is a convenient place to schedule a COVID vaccine for a 2yo. Other places like Safeway and Walgreens offer vaccinations for Age 3+. Although its possible to get vaccinations through our pediatrician, nothing beats the flexibility of a Minute Clinic. They offer appointments throughout the day including weekends. 1. Their onsite nurse, Michelle, was excellent. Sure the kid is going to cry but remember its over real quick. Michelle worked with us to position our son to make the process quick and efficient. For 2yo, the injection goes on the thigh. 2. They say check-in 15 minutes ahead of your appointment time. We shows up at our scheduled time and that's OK, since it takes 10-15 minutes to double check your paperwork, manually enter info again, verify ID and insurance, etc. All this was submitted online but I guess they need to double check and verify. 3. Tip - you can only schedule 3 days ahead for Pfizer-Biontech, and appointments fill up fast! That means if you want a Saturday appointment, start booking on Thursday. read more

Wow, what a terrible minute clinic. I brought both Jenbert Jrs here to get their vaccine. Before I could even check in, the pharmacist flat-out lied to me by saying that she could not vaccinate my kids because they got Moderna shots initially and this place offers only Pfizer. I said, there's nowhere that states that when I made the appointments. She stated that it was a policy by the CDC and they could not bend from it. I know that's a lie and she was just making up excuses to turn them away. At least we didn't have to wait before being turned away. read more

This is a great location. The staff at pharmacy is very helpful. I try to shop there for alot items whenever I can. If you sign up for their 'rewards' the prices are actually unbelievable and unbeatable. Cheaper than online store. If you pay $5 a month for their 'membership', the savings and money back are totally crazy. It's very sad and frustrating though how much of the stuff in the store has to be locked up. The pharmacy does everything in their power to avoid customer interaction. Zero customer service. I needed an emergency refill on meds, the doctor called it in and because it was an emergency, I knew that I would have to pay out of pocket. There was questions as to whether they would even fill it all because it is a controlled substance. I couldn't get a hold of them, just to confirm that they had the meds or that they would fill it. I purchased items in a scent that I don't normally get and because the sale was so good, I figured I'd get them and go see if I could find the right scent at another location since they didn't have the one I get in stock. That was they would still honor the sale price. Matthew who lacked any kind of customer service rang me up and never once mentioned a change in store policy with returns or exchanges. Now, since I'm wearing a mask, I didn't wear my glasses since they fog up when I wear the mask. I did not see any signage about a change in store policy nor was I notified verbally before purchasing. No stamp or change was made to the sales receipt that I was given which clearly states "Returns with receipt, subject to CVS Return Policy, thru 06/02/2020 Refund amount is based on price after all coupons and discounts." Fast forward to 10 min later when I went to CVS on Treat. They immediately tell me that I cannot exchange the items because the refund policy changed. They were extremely rude about it. I called this CVS and spoke with Ben a "supervisor" who stated that he agrees that Matthew should have verbally told all the customers in the change of policy. Especially when dealing with customers who may be seeing impaired. As that would be discriminatory to assume everyone has 20/20 vision. He states he cannot "do anything" and told me to contact customer service to see if a policy could be in place where they should verbally tell customers of a change in refund policy. Staff has gone DOWNHILL This pharmacy location use to be great a few years ago (pre-pandemic)! It's such a bummer. We moved farther away and made a concerted effort to keep this CVS location as our pharmacy, but today I'm DONE. As a loyal customer for years, I know that their lunch break is @ 12:30. I'm standing in line literally 1 min prior to their break, assuming I'd be that annoying last customer w/my sick kid who JUST had her meds called in from her Dr. And they turned us away! I pleaded and pointed to my daughter who needed this medicine asap (asthma), which I knew was ready for p/up and the pharm tech still said no, saying that their system automatically shuts down in 1 minute. Okay! Then you have ONE MIN to check us out...it wasn't *technically* 12:30, YET. Another time I had one pharm tech actually tell us that we had to physically take our non-Rx related purchases to the front and wait in line there, instead of purchasing them along with our Rx's!! I couldn't believe it. I said no, I'm not doing that, that's ridiculous. I've always grabbed a couple add-on items during my Rx pickups and now you're telling me that in addition to waiting 12 minutes in the Rx line, that I now need to take the remainder of my purchase and wait in a separate cashier line?!?! Pure laziness. This was the last straw. This place ain't worth it. It use to be. But it isn't anymore. Lines are always terribly long. They're understaffed. They take light years to answer the phone, so gawd forbid you need to actually speak w/a pharmacist. This used to be a great location with super friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately, the level of service, staffing, helpfulness, general courtesy, and efficient handling of prescriptions has progressively declined over the past few years. Now, the pharmacy appears to be chronically understaffed with the remaining folks so stressed out that they are curt, often rude, and rarely helpful. We have experienced repeated errors in prescription handling, frequently out of stock, medications, and most recently there is no ability to speak to a live person for assistance when calling the pharmacy. Now, your only option is to leave a message which the recording says will be returned within one hour. Following several messages over different days and different issues, I can confidently report that I have never received a return call or a successful resolution to a question or problem. After 8+ years relying on this location as my local pharmacy of choice, I am now moving all of my prescriptions to another provider where they seem to actually understand and value the concept of customer service. As an aside, the digital team at CVS Health apparently needs a major shake up as well. Their app has become largely unusable, complicated to navigate, and seems to get worse with every version upgrade. read more

I've used this drug store for years. Mainly for OTC products. This is written about this particular location because it is the one I use. But I have seen other locations with the issue I am about to discuss. The beauty items are practically put down on the floor. How can a customer over 75 years of age get down on the floor to look for something just barely above the floor? Why do they have to stock so low? I was looking for an eyebrow pencil recently. Not only were those close to the floor but the red locks prevented me from seeing what color those eyebrow pencils were. I could have rung for a sales associate, but wasn't able to say which product I wanted in the right color 'cause I couldn't see the products! I was fed up at this point and went to McCaulou's where I wouldn't have to squat.It was worth it to pay more. My husband recently went to this location for deodorant. Couldn't find it, because it was behind the check stand. He went to a competitor where the deodorants were in an isle without locks or doors. Yes, shoplifters have created this problem, no doubt about it. Are there any cameras in the store? I doubt it. A security guard at the door might not be feasible, but losing customers isn't so great either. Guess I will have to shop elsewhere. At least Target opens their large acrylic doors and leaves the customer briefly to choose their products. Not great but still better than CVS. read more

Came here with the family first thing in the morning for the flu shot because the only available appointments were for each person to come back over the course of 5 separate hours. No one was in the waiting room and they said "sorry we're packed" as they set out the standby paper. Make that make sense. No one came for another hour and they ignored us so we left. Last year it was ok. Providers this year are horrible. Don't go to this location! We rescheduled for a different store. read more

Their employees go above and beyond to be helpful and have even assisted me with an insurance claim over covered medicine that Blue Shield ultimately paid for. Was unable to get my urgent prescription today due to them continually saying they didn't get it (it was sent) and the Dr.s office calling them wasn't enough. Then, I got a call saying it was out of stock (it was not) and then they said the Dr. had to send it again, this is after 4 hours of the Dr saying they did send it and calling them. Staff are snarky, unfriendly and discourteous. Every time I go in there, none of the staff act happy to be there. Last time I went in, I asked for a certain product that was shown to be available in stock at this location. When I asked about it, staff person said that they didn't have it, never heard of the brand, and just because it said it was in stock doesn't mean that they have it. Eh??! No offer to call another store or check the "back". While at the store, I found it online to pick up at this store! So I ordered it and left. Within an hour, I got a message that it was ready for pickup. I returned and went to the front counter and the clerk checked my name, etc and looked up and gave me a sour smirk. I told him about what had happened earlier and he gruffly told me that they had to send someone out to get it from another store and it became very "hectic". This is my fault, how?! My mother frequently visits this location to coupon and not one day goes by where someone doesn't give her a hard time. The older man who I believe is the manager has frequently turned her away, even when the coupons she has are PROVIDED BY CVS. After working in retail myself, one of my biggest pet peeves is when employees ignore customers or can't be interrupted while speaking to their co-workers. But even bigger peeve is when retail employees are sick and still working. While the service was good once the two co-workers were interrupted. If you're sick? I don't want you touching stuff that's going in my house. If you're actively coughing or sneezing you shouldn't be at work. Managers who allow or encourage employees to work while actively sick really bother me, especially when you work at a pharmacy, where the very old or very young are brought in when they already have weakened immune systems. I wish I could give zero stars. Wow!! Terrible customer service , I think the reason for this, is because they know people would come back for the items they sale. This has always been my go to store. But they lack so much in customer service. They need to fire everyone working there and hire people that are friendly, respectful & helpful without feeling rushed. I normally go there to get my pictures on a DVD but they never have DVDs they only have CDs which don't hold a large quantity of photos. Every time I ask for help I feel rushed and they don't know why they don't have the DVD's. Like today I felt so rushed my money pulled from my hand. Plus no help and little education as to where there DVD's are. Sharron and Juan are both cool five stars for them, but I can't give the business a four or five star. I like going during the day more.
