I absolutely dread coming to this place and today was the last time. Always a long line - it's confusing to "order" when there is NO "order" line, it's "consultation." I don't need a consultation, I just want my second batch of pills on my prescription. There is no one at any other window, just one super long line and you stand there for 20 minutes, when you finally get to the front, the lady first looks at my (hard copy) prescription and acts like she doesn't know what to do. Then tells me I need to go stand in the other "line" after I wasted 20 minutes. Every time I go here, they don't have my prescription and I ask my doctor, he shows me where he sent it (this has happened with two different doctors so it's not the doctor, it's this poorly run place). It's one of the worst run pharmacies I've ever been to in my life - and the people that work behind the counter absolutely could not care less. I hate to sound like one of those "in my day" people who whine about everything but it's true in this case - pharmacies used to have people who cared about the people coming in. This one just has people who want to get through the work day. They couldn't give an actual flying yahoo about any customer, they have the same attitude as a McDonald's worker. They act like they're being put out and the people in the (long) line are morons for using this pharmacy (perhaps that's true now in retrospect). They never have enough people working there and every time I come in, they come across as so ridiculously incompetent, you wonder if these people actually have the education to be working in pharmacy. Management at CVS will read this and laugh and go about their day. They don't care. Look at all the other reviews here. It's not just me, it's everyone. This is the last time I EVER step foot in a CVS. There is no reason for me to ever come to this or any other one ever again. read more

I'm really disappointed with where this CVS Target has come to. We are regulars here even before having kids but became VERY consistent regulars since 2017 because of a medical need for my son. We came consistently every 2 weeks from December 2017 through November 2020 because we needed specific refills for our son. We got to know the pharmacists and their assistants so well that we even ended up inviting them to our son's birthdays. They were compassionate and kind; truly brought us peace of mind during challenging times (including during Covid). Ever since they changed their head pharmacist(s), and not the same assistants either, they have become truly just a choice because of convenience. Shopping with kids, it is convenient to grab prescriptions from this CVS inside Target. We no longer have needs every 2 weeks (thank goodness!) but we come at least every 4-6 weeks. They are not rude but they are not kind or friendly either, anymore. I guess that's too much to ask nowadays. 2 stars for convenience and consistency. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I am a physician and tried to call in a prescription for my patient. In the over 20 years of practicing medicine, I have never encountered a pharmacy staff ( and it was the manager) as rude and argumentative as this one. I have always been treated with respect and this pharmacy staff has a serious attitude problem and need to just quit and walk away from the job the clearly cannot handle. They are grossly inappropriate and their behavior is entirely unacceptable. I hope this rude manager gets fired. I can see there are countless negative reviews along the same lines for this pharmacy staff. Shameful. read more

UPDATE: didn't charge credit card. CDC website sent me to CVS for covid test to treat. CVS.com made phone appointment to determine if I can get paxlovid, sent me email with calendar entry and that they would call me at 10:30. never called. I went to see the pharmacist and he says he is not trained to prescribe that and even if he could see my bloodwork he could not do it. Tried to look me up, couldn't figure stuff out, says 'our systems are very inefficient' - no kidding. Their appointment process also collected our credit card info to charge us $60 for this conversation. When I asked him about it, he said call to complain. We tried to call to complain and make sure we get paid back, as he had also recommended (rather than doing something about it, which was the theme of this visit). After being on hold for an hour, we were considering calling the credit card company for a chargeback, but apparently they have not charged us at least. Horrible customer experience, horrible IT systems. Pro-tip: actual pharmacy doesn't know what's going on, you have to make an appointment with the minute clinic on the same floor instead. read more

It's pretty obvious CVS could care less about their reviews or they would at least try to get their act together. The pharmacy is a joke. They don't even act like they care. I recently had a bad experience (of many the past year) and it was clearly a financial charge mistake and not even a "we're sorry" along with treating me like cattle in a round up. "Go over there until we call you." After calling the store manager she promised to call me the next day. I am still waiting for that call along with a call from the 800 number. Why don't I leave CVS, you ask? Because my retirement health plan requires me to use only CVS for all 90 day refills. read more

We are new to the area and found it very convenient to purchase meds from the CVS Target pharmacy (N. Main St). This is a busy pharmacy, yet the staff is tuned into customers. Diwa is the pharmacy manager and is authentically customer-oriented. The first time I met her, she noticed me standing at the counter waiting to be helped. She appeared to be there by herself. She acknowledged me and then approached me. She took the time to instruct me on my new medication, answer my questions, and review payment options with me. I've used various CVS stores to fill my prescription needs. The service at the N. Main location is consistently individualized and caring each time I visit this pharmacy. I drive by two other CVS locations to make my purchases at the N, Main pharmacy. Kindness starts at the top. Diwa is a consummate professional and a model of compassion. read more

I just had a wonderful experience here. It feels kind of weird writing a review for a pharmacy but the technician and pharmacist that helped me truly went above and beyond and I super appreciated that during a stressful time of my life trying to get the meds I need. If I remember correctly their names are Sarah and Tien (hope that's the right spelling). They helped me figure out my insurance and even found coupons for me to lower the cost of my meds. I'm very happy and satisfied with my experience. read more

I'm giving them two stars, because my prescription is generally available on time, and the pharmacy techs there are friendly and helpful. Their main problem is the pharmacist. A few years ago, they had a very friendly Asian man as a pharmacist. He would take his time to explain things clearly and make sure you, the customer, leave comfortable and knowledgeable with your medication's dosage, side effects, etc. Now, they have this awful Eastern European or Russian woman as their pharmacist. If you have a question, forget it. She will just bark at you and not take any time to explain anything to you. She has a queen of the world superiority complex. And, she refuses to scan your CVS card when you pick up your prescription. She doesn't seem to understand that although she works at a target, the pharmacy is owned by cvs, and customers earn points when their card is scanned. For something like a prescription medication, the pharmacy needs to employ people that are not only knowledgeable, but who have empathy and patience. read more

The 5 stars is for the gentleman whom I din't get his name - he was behind the pharmacy counter yesterday, Saturday morning. Everyone at the pharmacy was nice and compassionate. When I was told that the antibiotic prescribed by my doc would cost $220, I was shocked in disbelief, and their compassion can only help so far. However, when I was able to walk away, this young gentleman stepped up and showed me a way in less than a min to actually ease my pain! T H A N K Y O U! If you care about family and treating employees with respect... I suggest you do NOT shop at this cvs in this particular location. The management is the horrid and they treat employees like crap. 20 plus years of over time and working holidays apparently doesn't mean anything to this store. They let go of one of my family members who was a manager here for YEARS. Cvs you do not care about employees or family's affected. I hope you start making a change. Showed up to pick up a prescription before a flight and they weren't open even though target was. Ok, that's on me. Waited until they opened and when they did, instead of arriving in time and being prepared to service customers. They open up at 9 and then prepare. No acknowledgment that this might be a problem or caring whatsoever that a customer is waiting. read more

Love the pharmacy at Target. Very organized, fast, and help you to get deals. They also call and text you. Very little waiting time.

This pharmacy is consistently under stocked when other CVS Pharmacies are not. It is very frustrating when my neighborhood CVS Pharmacy does not seem to care enough to provide for customers. read more

Update: three more weeks have gone by, and I still don't have my medication. The same individual who was so rude and unhelpful on the phone has blocked me from filling my Rx a few more times now. First, my doctor tried changing my Rx to a brand name medication; when the copay wound up being 20x higher than the generic Med, I inquired about coupons or discounts. The representative lied to me, saying no discounts were available for my medication. Later I went online and found lots of discounts. Because she gave me the wrong information, I asked my doctor to contact the pharmacy again and try another formulation. When I went in to check on the status of the Rx, my order wasn't even in their system. A helpful person at the counter put me back on the order list, but the damage was done already. Back at the end of the line and still waiting after five weeks. I had been reluctant to switch pharmacies until this Rx was filled, but I now see that the pharmacist here seems to have a vendetta. I will be calling around to find another pharmacy today. read more

I don't really take medications because I don't like any type of drugs. So I stay a way from them as much as possible. However, if you really need them...you need them. I was in the CVS and I started talking to the pharmacist on duty. It had a really nice conversation with him. Which is not what I expected. He was very honest and told me that he really doesn't use medications and tries to take a natural approach. He was nice and honest. We started talking a little and his knowledge was extensive about natural approaches to health. I was was impressed. Very good experience. If I were to need medications or knew someone else who would need them I would recommend going to this CVS and talking the pharmacist who works during the day. read more

The Registered Pharmacist at this location has a consistent and persistent attitude. I have complained multiple times to CVS.

I waited for several minutes to get a flu shot here. I saw three people behind the counter but only one person was helping customers, and whoever they were helping was taking quite a while. After a while, one of the other employees came up, and i said I'd like to get a flu shot, and he told me that "she's about to go on her break..." and wouldn't be back for 45 minutes. Seriously... you made me wait in line just to tell me that? Why is there only one person who can give this shot? On a Saturday??? What a waste of time and a terrible handling of customer service. read more
