I was in the area so I figured I would pop in to see if this location of Walgreens had some of the old formula of my shampoo I've been on the hunt for. And excitingly they had some bottles in stock! It was a quick in and out (I only needed the shampoo) but although I found the service prompt it felt standoffish and they didn't offer a bag until I asked for one. All in all, I'm thankful they had it, but the location didn't seem like one I'd come back to. read more

Totally unprofessional and unreliable for holiday cards. After uploading photos and creating personalized holiday cards the confirmation said it would be ready the same day. Then comes the email stating order is "delayed". Next day it's still not ready and they don't answer their phone. After calling their OFFSHORE customer service line and holding for 20 minutes they confirm that order can't be completed and to try another Walgreens store, which we did but the Concord store's printer is broken and they can't fulfill any requests yet they will gladly take your request online, charge you for it then tell you a couple days later that "your order is cancelled" without explanation. read more

She kept saying good morning... I am not a parrot and don't repeat after you. I finally told her, I said "hi" 5 times! She finally assisted. Maybe the purple hair dye destroyed some customer service skills? Annoying... don't try and power trip me, I acknowledged you first and asked my question. Rude woman, with long black hair and glasses, in the pharmacy department. I normally shop at CVS, even though it is further away from my home. Being in a rush today, I stopped into Walgreens to pick up two items, one of which was an OTC medication which I needed help locating in the store. I went to the pharmacy consultation window to ask for the location of the medicine I needed. The woman who "helped" me, was clearly annoyed to be asked the question. She told me to look in aisle 12 on the right. I looked in the section I expected to find it but did not find it. I went back to the window to ask if she could show me exactly where it was located. She said "I guess so" in a very annoyed tone and then walked really fast down the aisle, waved her hand in front of a section and said, "it is allllllll here". As if I was so ridiculous of Even if you don't like your job or if you are having a bad day, there is no reason to take out your frustration on a customer. read more

Absolutely rude and incompetent lady with dark hair and glasses at the pharmacy department. First she confused me with another patient ( I assume ) because she said it says on her chart that I have heart disease therefore she can't giver my medication. I told her she made a mistake and she argued with me that her chart doesn't lie. Then later comes another person - and sees no problem with my chart! She made it all up. Finally today she says I can't have my medicine because apparently it's not due yet. I have been picking up this very medication for 2 years and there was never a problem. The problem is always in her head, she is very confused. Always covers her name plate with a scarf and has unprofessional snarky demeanor. I asked to file a complaint. Will follow up. read more

It's not consistently bad, the pharmacy I mean, but it's often enough to get a 1 star rating. Their service varies, but the level of communication is horrible. I often am notified that my pharmaceuticals are ready via text, yet when I arrive I'm often told they are either delayed or that I'm out of refills (even though it'll state I still have refills on the Walgreens's app). Are all Walgreens this bad, or am I just unlucky to live close to a poorly run pharmacy? Anyway, do yourself a favor if you are able to, go to a different pharmacy and save yourself many phone calls, disappointments, rude service, and wasted trips. If you are coming here for anything related to the pharmacy, expect a very long wait. Don't think you're going to waltz right in and pick up a prescription. Even if the prescription was sent by your doctor over a week ago. It won't be ready. They'll tell you it will be 20 minutes, you'll leave and come back almost an hour later and be told again it's not ready. If you have an appointment for a vaccination, and get there 5-10 minutes before the appointment and having already filled out the necessary paperwork on line ... you'll have to wait. Oh, and you'll have to fill out the paperwork again. Plan for plenty of waiting. Make sure your phone is fully charged. Make sure you're well hydrated and have recently had a meal. Who knows how long you'll be there. read more

I am immunosuppressed. I have no choice but to visit a pharmacy from time to time. Today i went for a COVID shot. There is a sign stating face mask required to enter the patient room where these are administered. Tiny room, no air flow. And the pharmacist doesn't wear a mask??? I explicitly asked that she wear one. She wore a shield... COVID IS AIRBORNE I'm so over being a hermit due to others simply not caring if they kill me. Walgreens is always my go to store to pick up little things here and there, they always have nice hair shampoo, conditioner and products like that. I will say this store seemed a lot smaller than most Walgreens , and not that many employees I think I might of seen only one or two. I found almost everything I was looking for, wish they had more body scrub products in stock. And also had wipes but other than that was a nice quick visit. read more

I would give this pharmacy a zero if I could. I have been waiting for my very necessary prescription and after four weeks of trying to get it here it's still unavailable. Overall terrible communication, terrible customer service, they seem to drag their feet as they work. I understand being a pharmacist could be a lot of work, however these pharmacists or at least this facility is hardly working. This is my local pharmacy and after years of rude, unprofessional service I finally checked their reviews on Yelp and Google. It seems that many people are having similar experiences with the pharmacy in particular. The rest of the store is great! Clean, organized, and what you'd expect from a Walgreens. After filling prescriptions here, me and another family member were BOTH given other people's prescriptions!!! What a dangerous invasion of privacy for those people. There is a disconnect between what the pharmacy texts me and what is actually going on in the store. I will get a text that my prescription is ready, then when I arrive I still have to wait. I have called the pharmacy on several occasions to be met with an extremely unhelpful and rude pharmacist. My questions are very basic and easily answerable, but the woman answering the phone seems impatient and talks like she literally hates me and her job. I don't think it's unreasonable to call the pharmacy to ask a simple question about refilling a medication, and I am super conscious of being kind and respectful on the phone. I wish the pharmacist would return the favor! I will probably be transferring to a different family-owned pharmacy in the area. read more

Growing up, I remember having a cute, independent drug store in my town, but over the years, those stores have disappeared, and we're left with Walgreen's, CVS and a few Rite-Aids, which have all been horrible as pharmacies in my experience. I had a prescription sent to this pharmacy due to its convenient location weeks ago and received one text that it was delayed due to being out of stock. I never received follow up so finally called and they then said it was an insurance issue. Ma'am, it's been two+ weeks, why was I not alerted? Apparently because I hadn't noted a phone communication preference so they preferred to not contact me at all?! I also didn't receive a text or an email, for which I had already opted in?? Explanation didn't make sense, there was ZERO effort in providing any level of customer service, the person on the phone was extremely rude and dismissive, 0/10. Plus, their corporate customer relations team is equally awful and ineffective if you try to report an incident. I'm sticking with Rx delivery services as much as possible to avoid this negligent behavior. read more

You name it and they've probably got most household supplies This Walgreens had a full facelift a few years back. They have an entirely different layout from the 2017 Encina retrofit. The pharmacist (I think her name is Yuni?) has absolutely no sense of compassion, is extremely judgmental, rude, and unprofessional. She should NEVER EVER interact wijth customers/patients. My husband went in to collect a refill for his script and she rang him up. She said to him, "... you know you shouldn't take this when you're drinking... I smell alcohol. " My husband was taken aback and told her that he had NOT been drinking, the alcohol she was smelling was probably the hand sanitizer he just dispensed from the giant jug next to the register. Then she looked at his script and frowning and shaking her head said, ".... you take how much? That's A LOT." Erm, ok, Judgy, just ring him up and go back to your cave please? I've read many bad reviews about her on Yelp. My husband is her latest victim. We are both going to go with getting our prescriptions mailed directly to us. Smgdh. read more

Went to administer my son's medication to him, and luckily I noticed we had been given someone else's prescription!!! So bad! I am hoping the lady who's prescription we have doesn't accidentally take Concerta!! That could be very dangerous for her. Think DMV. It is so hard to believe that a professional pharmacy can be so incompetent. I blame myself for not going elsewhere sooner. It was just on the way home and you know how it is. Some of the Walgreens staff are just plain angry or nasty. (Maybe they are overworked or have terrible lives I don't know.) My dr recommended an online pharmacy. I had doubts. But hey, it cant be worse than failing for two weeks to fill a script-- with false alarms that actually drag you to the long lines--then you leave empty handed. Multiple times. I just left a review for NowRx. Within 24 hours they had my medications transferred and delivered to my front door. Fingers crossed that kind of service will continue... I have never received worst customer service in my entire life and I'm 57! I brought a FedEx package in for drop off. I was the only one at the counter and Toni was there training a new clerk. She saw that I was there but continued to show the new hire different steps to take for the photo dept. There was a bell on the counter I was tempted to ring for service. Finally, she asks how she can help me. I gave her the package and she was about to scan the wrong bar code, so I politely told her that it was the other one. She ignores me, but then scans the code I pointed out. She tells the new hire that they normally do not take UPS packages and again I politely tell her it is a FedEx package. This review is for the pharmacy department. After living 5 min away from this Walgreens for years, I decided to finally pay a visit to get my flu shot. The store itself was pretty clean and tidy. The pharmacy seemed pretty normal until I noticed the long wait times. The employees are all straightforward and nice, but I think they're understaffed. I set an appointment at 2 pm online for my flu shot and it didn't seem to matter anyway. The shot with the pharmacist took maybe less than 30 seconds, but the wait up to that point took 20 min. This was also a weekday. I can't imagine the weekends. read more

Pharmacy has had a complete staff turnover and has gone from from good to awful wait times and staff members who clearly are undertrained. Lines are usually horrendous and have even had to wsit over 30 minutes when I am the only customer. At around 11:30am 12/17/22 my wife got falsely accused of stealing from this store in front of many customers. Not even an apology was addressed and I will never go back to this Walgreens for the embarrassment they caused to my and my wife.
