I have never been more frustrated with a pharmaceutical as I have been with this one. We came by at 6:06 pm to pick up a prescription when the website said they were open until 9 and found the pharmacy closed at 6. We tried the next day to pick up the prescription and were told that the doctor said it was no longer necessary. We went to the doctor who said he never said that and he re-submitted the prescription. I tried to pick it up today (it was sent over from the doctor yesterday at noon, over 24 hours ago) and when I got to the front of the line (after standing in line 20 minutes) I found they hadn't even started filling it. They waited for us to come and then started filling it and told me it would be another 15 minutes. I immediately got back in line because I knew it would be more than 15 minutes to wait in line. read more

This is probably the worst pharmacy in all of Concord. However if you're a gambler and would like to have a 50% chance of getting your prescription each time you go, then this is the spot. Every single time I've been here to pick up my prescription there has been an issue and last time I was refused my medication because my address was not updated with my doctor. Here for 2nd vaccination and my appointment was 1030am. Now it is 12 noon. The Walgreens personnel failed to get paper for their copier machine. Sent employee to get paper and she probably stopped for lunch! My 2nd shot is due today and she says need to fill out paperwork again for 2nd shot. Very incompetent staff here. So I was going to take away a star for this store not selling alcohol, but I decided to see if perhaps I'm mistaken about their other stores in CA selling adult beverages. Their CA stores do not sell alcohol so I can't fault this new location for that policy. This store has all the niceness of any new business. It was clean inside, well-lit, well-stocked, and the employees we talked to were very friendly. I was surprised to see their fresh food section (well, it's a growing trend in new stores, so not all that surprising), and even more surprised to see glass-bottled Coke on their drink aisle. (For the same price they sell it at Concord Produce, where I normally buy it). For movie buffs, there's a RedBox out front. I'm happy to have a new, nice store so convenient to my home. Terrible pharmacy. Delayed my prescription, told me it was not in stock and they had ordered it for me. Then after a week of no contact I called back and they told me they would not fill my prescription because they don't fill prescriptions from my particular doctor. They did not reach out to me once to let me know they wouldn't be filling my prescription and now I have to find another pharmacy after going a week without my medication. read more

This store is new and beautiful It's, dare I say, stylish inside. It has modern lighting features with light up shelves and fancy flooring. It feels fresh, clean and modern, and it's a nice addition for the neighborhood. I think it's one of the nicest drugstores I've been to in the surrounding areas, or perhaps ever. The staff was friendly, and the prices were great. PS: In regards to previous reviews, I think there was Top 40 playing over the speakers, similar to other stores, so perhaps they updated their music selections. read more

11 years on yelp and this is the first time I have ever been compelled enough to write a negative review. My prescription was sent in by my Doctor 3 days prior to me picking it up. The first time I came in they said it was not ready that night but to come back in the morning and it would be ready, then when I came back in the AM they said oh sorry we need directions from your doctor so it still cannot be picked up, then the 2 days later when I go to pick it up they have not had the common courtesy to call and let me know it's not ready, but instead have attitude and try to pass the blame to my doctor for not getting back to them with instructions. But they called 3 times to let me know my other prescriptions were ready. All the reviews about this pharmacy are accurate, horribly managed and poor staff at the pharmacy. read more

( You can load money on your clipper card ) This Walgreen's is huge compared to any other ones. I come here to pick up my rx and other misc. items I may need to avoid the crowds at the bigger stores. Most of staff is always asking if assistance is needed. One person in particular, I will not name drop has not been so nice, but guess what I still say thank you and smile. Never know what someone may be going through. I specifically look for the orange tags around the store, which means items are discounted. I have bought many name brand items (makeup, snacks, toiletries and more) all less then $3. In addition to the orange tag specials I can get eggs, sour cream, yogurts on sale for 99c. They rotate weeks with their sales, once a month the same thing goes on sale. Keep and eye out, the new ad comes out on Sunday's so if you see something you like on sale snag it up by Saturday. I can also load money on my clipper card which is convenient since the machines at Bart can have lines. They also have fastrak and propane tanks which is a bonus. read more

Walgreens pharmacy at all locations needs to get their crap together, the lines, the wait, and the system that they run everything through apparently is absolutely ridiculous and not well put together. This is the third or fourth time that I have come to pick up prescriptions within the last two weeks, when they say it's ready and even come hours later to get it and then they tell me it's not and I'm here waiting another hour. Also sparking up conversations with every other customer in line with the same issue.. and only have 1 or 2 people working when they clearly need more help to get things moving along. read more

This place is useless. First error happened a couple of weeks ago when I was loading a prepaid card. I told the girl THREE times the amount and she still got it wrong every time, each time having to void it and get a manager to override it. I was late for an appointment as a result of that, because what should have taken 5 minutes took 20 minutes. Moments ago, I walked in and had three items and asked to use my balance rewards to pay for them. I was instructed out of three items only the least expensive one "qualified" to use rewards, rewards I already EARNED with the money I already SPENT on previous trips. I will call their customer service tomorrow and cancel my account online, I don't care if I lose the damn rewards these people are PATHETIC!!!!!!!! This review is just for the pharmacy. They need more staff. Desperately!!! Each time the wait here is ridiculously long to pick up a prescription. Used to go to the one on Main Street and it was usually packed (assumed because it's 24 hours). However, this appears to be no better if not worse... and will move my prescription somewhere else... It's a joke to wait in line for 30 plus minutes for a one minute transaction (ordered re-fill online). Every. Single. Time. Their express pick up is nowhere close to express. I love this store. The staff has always been super nice and very helpful. BUT THEIR PHARMACY IS A SH*T SHOW. It never fails, the line of customers is AIWAYS at least10 people deep and there is never more than one person working one counter. And to top it off, they lock up the most random OTC products. Excellent service as well as hospitality. James was my cashier, he was in the photo department. He had such a warm and welcoming presents, very charismatic. He helped me set up a rewards account and was patient and very professional. This guy definitely deserves a raise or some type of increase to his salary. When this location first opened, I wasn't too impressed - employees were generally unprofessional, and no matter what time I visited, there were boxes and inventory messily spread out everywhere. But the months have been kind, and now I like popping into this location very much! The store is large and bright, very well organized and stocked, and they have several beauty items that competing stores like Target and Rite-Aid don't carry, specifically my beloved Matrix Biolage Conditioning Balm. The employees are also very courteous and helpful without being pushy. The parking lot is good size, and it can be a little dicey to get in and out of next to the crush and mayhem of Monument, but patience always pays off. I'm very happy this location opened, and am glad to see that management handled all problems and concerns quickly to make their store a pleasure to visit! read more

Excellent customer service here all the time. Today I went to a Walgreens and bought 4 lip products and 3 out of the 4 had broken seals but the store had no extras in the back. Came to this location to check if they had any and I could only find 1 that had no broken seal. PEOPLE PLEASE STOP TRYING TO TEST THESE PRODUCTS! Nicole helped me out today and checked the back stock and alas, no others :( made me bummed out because I bought some to send out to my sister in Florida. This is the brand new Walgreens that was built right down the street from our house. The outside of the store looks great and the inside is also very clean. So far every time I have been inside the store there is a guard waiting just inside. I guess this is because it is located on monument. The store has everything that every other Walgreens has and it all seems to be well stocked and in an easy to find layout. Ordered them for me, but not the generics and had to pay $65 more than usual since he can't be without his meds. Wont keep his meds in stock even though he gets them every 30 days. Listen, I dread going to Walgreens. I absolutely love buying my cosmetics there but the location by my house is horrid. What an awful experience going to pick up my medicine today. I call the Pharmacy yesterday they told me my medication would be ready at 10:00 a.m. today. I didn't want to make 2 trips because one of the medications were due today. I got there and the pharmacy was open. I asked for my medication and the assistant was really rude, her name is Lily. I try to explain to her I called yesterday and was told to come in at 10:00 a.m.she kept on being very rude and was very disrespectful. I told her I was gonna contact corporate, she told me to go ahead and knock myself out. I don't know how this woman can work with the general public with that current attitude.Walgreens needs to give her some sensitivity training, she's dealing with people in the public that are sick.
