They Are EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL! Tried to order food on multiple occasions first bad experience theyve gotten my order wrong. Fine mistakes happen. Second time placed an order over the phone and wanted to know the price they couldnt tell me the price due to their out dated POS system so the lady said shell tally it up on A CALCULATOR and i see you soon. Before i could respond back she HANGS UP! Could of been a bad shift trying to give them the benefit of doubt. Third Time my Wife called Its Sunday morning and she got hung up on while asking for the total of our order. The food is really Good when they get your order right But this location is Down right horrible. Good food dont means a darn thing when your not treated with respect. Love the sausage hash brown bowl - and they always cook the eggs just right. Being from the South, it's hard to find a place that does biscuits and sausage gravy or grits the right way - this Waffle House gets it perfect every time. Crack. I've always wanted to go here, and I finally did when my hubby asked Siri on the iPhone for one on our way from Hershey to Poconos. OMG! I had the fiesta omelet as well as waffle with sausage- delish!!!! And cheap. My husband went to school in VA and missed the good ole days lol. We were staying the the Holiday In Express next door and walked over to the Waffle House. I ordered a cheeseburger. When the food came, I lifted up the bun to put ketchup on the burger and there was a hair on top of the cheese. I called the waitress over to show her and ask for another burger. Within a minute the same burger was brought over. All the short order cook did was remove the portion of cheese where the hair had been. Uggg. How disgusting! Waffle House is all over the South. When my wife and I went to Kentucky, I developed a taste for this simple, greasy truck stop food. One night I checked to see where the closest one was and found this location in Bethlehem off of I-78. Well worth the trip. My favorite is the waffle with peanut butter chips, hash browns with jalapeno and onion, and chocolate milk, cuz I'm a kid at heart. :) I treat Waffle House like Walmart: they have their place, but should be kept on a very tight leash. I would prefer not to see Waffle Houses crop up over the tri-state area and put all the local diners out of the business. I'm sure the mafia keeps it that way. I believe her name is Dom, if I'm not mistaken. Very nice, alot nicer than the young lady trying to be the evening manager. She rolls her eyes, kinda like she is being bothered to help patrons. Dom was very friendly, was very nice to chat with, and made us genuinely feel welcome. For what it's worth, the food is right on, and service is much better during breakfast and lunch, I avoid the place after 2 pm. read more

Service and food quality is poor. We waited a very long time to place our order from menus sticky with syrup. Our food sat on the counter until cold. Sausage patties cooked to a burnt crisp, potatoes were not crispy or hot, and eggs were cold and needed more cooking time. And toast was cold and covered with a pound of butter spread: gross. We have had much better experiences with Waffle House, this one we won't try again even though they are local. read more

This was one of the best Waffle Houses I've been to. As a Waffle House veteran I know exactly what I want and how I want it. The cook was completely on top of her game-- seriously, two thumbs WAY up. The atmosphere was really great and our waitress was very attentive. They all work well together and create the perfect Waffle House environment. This place is always good. I've been here every time I go to Play It Again Records or Sands. They always got you smothered. haha Staff is amazingly nice and deserve every tip they get. Food is always quick and correct the first time. Always got a parking spot, even if it's a packed house. I encourage everyone to at least stop there once while driving in the area. It's easily accessible from 78 so even if your driving past Bethlehem, you can easily get on and off. Also, more girls with tattoos working there would be awesome. Just sayin..... ;-) read more

Let me start by saying i'm from North Jersey and we do not have a waffle house. This is my second time eating at a waffle house, first time being probably 25 years ago on the drive to Florida. I so enjoyed that meal and was sad to see they weren't up North at that time. I went to the Sands yesterday and what do i see but a sign for waffle house so of course we had to go. I was not disappointed. Ordered scrambled eggs w/cheese, hash browns and rye toast. Coffee is delicious too. Though i think what made this visit most pleasant was our server... Dom. She was a doll, best server hands down. Although they were crowded, the wait really wasn't that long at all. Bought a waffle house cup too to have my coffee in at home. read more

We stopped here tonight for dinner, had a craving for waffles, also my hubby had a gift card. Food and service were good. But when we went to pay for the $19 meal with the $30 gift card we were told we had to use the whole gift card!! I have never heard anything so ridiculous that we couldn't just pay for the 19 and have credit left on it. It says nothing on the gift card about that. I come by once in a while. I don't stay if there is a wait. There are only a few tables. But they do what they do very well. Its cheap! Theyre always open. Not too slow, kind of a mix between McDonald's and a classic dinner. I often get a waffel on the side of my Tbone and eggs. You'll see your food being made as you're right there. read more

First time ever at a waffle house wasnt expecting it to be the greatest but man did it suck. Food sucked, waitress sucked.

Their dining area is less desirable for a large family. There are no large tables to accommodate a family of five or more and no comfortable seats, particularly for a large person or a person with a bad back. If you go there during breakfast hours, expect a long wait due to a lack of seats and booths. I don't recall seeing a waiting area. They got my husband's seal of approval on cleanliness in the dining area, but we can't comment on their bathrooms. My husband and I luckily went there without our kids on a Friday morning in May. We managed to get counter seats in a few minutes, but my husband was stuck dealing with a seriously misbehaved toddler--I'd give a *lot* of credit to him for his patience and the staff for putting up with his constant yelling across the counter--and we had to wait for a long time before getting served. We ordered waffles with fruit compote--I believe we both ordered blueberry--and hash brown. Overall, the food was good and the fruit compose wasn't sugary at all. We've had better coffee elsewhere, but it wasn't bad. We would only come here after breakfast hours if we have serious craving for good waffles. read more

There breakfast combo for a waffle, 2 eggs, toast, bacon, and hash browns is only like $8. Its affordable and delicious. I must say the cleanliness is lacking but you can't expect much for the price. When I'm in a early Tom Waits kind of mood, I stop off here. There's always someone here, the place is clean, and the cook is never the same, but always seems well trained and efficient. I've never gotten past the pecan waffle, always a sure bet. Coffee is good, the people watching is even better. It's a combination of goth/ nihilist Lehigh students, truckers, local jivers, and the occasional post-casino couple. are all waffle houses this small ?! if so please correct me. but i feel like i could have touched both sides on the building if i was standing in the middle of the room. when you walk in the kid standing by the door was nice and got us right to our seat. the smell..oh the smell. the air was so thick with grease and onions you can barely breathe. i was begging for an open window ! terrible. waitress had a lot of tattoos dirty face and hair and her nails were yellow and had an inch of dirt under them. i actually gaged when she got our drinks. like when your in a service position please look at least moderately clean. please. the food came out fast so that was good, it was okay. just okay. extremely extremely greasy ! like they poured lard all over everything. i don't know if we will be going back. read more
