Very very poor customer service! Came to pick up a phone that's not even available and no text, no call that phone was not available. When you call CS, you will speak with someone from another country and they cannot direct your call to the store. Imagine Ethan, the store rep even asked us to check their other store if they have the kind of phone we're picking up but when I asked him to call that store first to see if they have it before I waste my time and gas for driving there, he said he can't make that call and I need to go personally...unbelievable! Always saying he can't do anything about because there's no manager or supervisor available! And before that, when we got to the store, we kept ringing the doorbell, he came out, stand there checking his phone rather than pressing the button to open the door. I am so sorry that I signed my children and myself for Verizon. Customer service in store is good but goodness their online is awful. I would leave them now if I could. Especially after supervisor Nicole. Verizon has an offer for a free Meta Occulus which was to be activated on 22 June. I went to activate the offer on 23 June and, voila!, no link. I chat for 2 hours with Verizon and promised the link would be there today. Guess? No link. Verizon's word? Nothing. Out of fairness, $50 was taken off my bill yesterday. So I chat and call for 3.5 hours today. Verizon sends me an incorrect link which costs me extra time on the line to resolve. Karen, the rep, helps me place everything in order. So I am told there is no compensation for my 3.5 hours today. Nicole actually brags that the $50 is one month of service. Really? I pay $220 a month. She seems gleeful. I am searching for a new provider. Seriously? Verizon, $50 for 5.5 hours? Be forewarned that they are nice to have you join but "bait and switch" is real. Verizon wasted my time - all because of errors Verizon made. Ask Karen. She fully admitted it. read more

I switched back to Verizon yesterday off of AT&T. AT&T has been an absolute horrible experience from start to finish. Augustine with my customer service representative and he was absolutely wonderful. Very accommodating it took us two days to do it because of AT&T's complications and he made it feel like it was effortless. He even set up "my Verizon app" on my phone. We came in looking for a new phone and Hameedullah was currently working there. He was extremely helpful. He went above and beyond and made sure we got what we were looking for. Besides helping us get a new phone he help us getting cases, screen protectors, and iPad while saving so much money. Eddie was great but he didn't tell the truth about a particular plan. I did go back and he did try and fix the issue unfortunately he and the manager wanted the sale so bad they screwed me out of $130 bucks for a plan on a tablet. I had to put down a $400.00 deposit no problem. I have yet to receive my refund from Verizon. Not one manager has contacted me or tried to rectify this problem. I will not back down this isn't $4.00 it's $400.00 For a few extra coins or bonuses you all are freaking crooks liars and thieves. So shady! Avoid this place. I got a great deal on a phone a few weeks ago and I took photos of everything to make sure it was honored as they had to order it - it wasn't in stock. Weeks later, after no follow up, I tried to call and the posted number took me to the NY Yankees. So I went in. At first, they said they would have called if they had it, and that they didn't have my phone. Then they looked in the back and found it. Proceeded to take $360 off the rebate that I was promised and was told that the old employee who gave the the higher rebate doesn't work there anymore. Despite having photos of the offers, they refused to honor it. They also refused to give me any contact information saying that I can go to the Verizon website. read more

This store and Justin Fairchild is dishonest. Do not purchase here. I was talked into getting a tablet that he said was regularly $300 and with the promotion would be $150 and that he would throw in a free case. When he was ringing me up he said this is your lucky day verizon provided you an additional $50 off. I got home and the receipt showed that he did not credit me for the $150 off of the tablet, there was only the $50 verizon credit. and charged me $49.99 for a case i could get from amazon for $19.99. I returned to the store and returned the case for a refund. I was told the $150 off would be a monthly credit against the tablet payment plan on my verizon bill. They said it could take 2-3 months to show up. I called verizon today and they said that to get the $150 off promotion i had to be on contract. That I received the $50 credit for the purchase without a contract. I thought I was on contract because Justin said I had to pay for the phone line for 2 years in order to get the $150 off promised by Justin. On black friday this same tablet was selling for under $100, but I'm paying $300 for it, plus $10 every month for the phone line and I've only opened the tablet twice. I am not sure how Verizon can stay in business, the staff is untrained, the stores are unstaffed and closed during regular business hours. The Martinez store had a sign stating that they are out because they are understaffed and the Pleasant hill store stated that they will be back in 15 minutes. This Verizon is completely awful. The "manager" Eddie is the worst manager I have ever met. I came to upgrade two iPhones and he was not even friendly from the start. I asked for two iPhone pro max and they said they had a gold and blue! Awesome! Eddie got me a flex quote and added $17.00 insurance and didn't tell me about it. He told me my bill would go up. My bill would've have gone down due to us paying more monthly for the phone we already had. He got mad and didn't want to make explain why it was going up just that it was and that's it. After I asked for the girl to help me he got very upset and argued with me. Then all of a sudden one of the phones was an order already. I asked for his managers number or email and he said I am the manager get out of my store. Most unprofessional guy I've ever met. We first went there to look at phones and although the phone we wanted wasn't available, there was no pressure to buy another phone. In fact we were encouraged to look online to find the phone we wanted. We returned to get help in setting up the new phone we purchased online and not only did they set it up for us but slowly showed us how and where to go on the phone to navigate it. They spent as much time as we needed to answer our questions and demonstrate the tech and were pleasant and courteous the entire time. I unexpectedly had my old cell phone die and had to replace it. I happily found this verizon dealer open when I called. I spoke to the manager, Hameed, and he set up an appointment so I could come in AND still maintain social distancing. He was amazing! He spent so much time with me, answering my millions of questions, making suggestions, all the while making me feel safe from the coronavirus (I'm in the high risk group). He really is so professional while also being a very personable. I hope Verizon and Victra know what an incredible asset Hameed is for them. I bought my new phone at this location at the end of June 2020. The man who helped me, Terrence, was great. Really knew his stuff. Yesterday, the phone did something weird - It was on (I could hear the notification bell) but the screen was black. I tried everything I knew to try (which is not much. I hate technology in general and did not grow up in a world of this nonsense.) I took the phone back in (drove all the way from Oakland) and the person working, David, assessed the problem in about 9 seconds and fixed it. MIRACLE WORKER! Turns out, it was something simple: the display dimmer was set to "0" - something the phone randomly did on it's own. The fact that he knew how to troubleshoot that while staring at a completely black screen amazes me. David was very patient and listened to me vent my frustrations with our overdependence on phones/technology. I will continue to drive the distance to go to this shop because they are, in a word, AWESOME! read more

The Crescent Dr. Verizon in Pleasant Hill has to be the WORST store for customer service, and the 2nd worse is the Verizon store on Contra Costa Blvd. (CC Blvd.) in Pleasant Hill. The telephone number listed online for CC Blvd. said, "This is Aaron Judge, and thank you for calling the New York Yankees." I thought I mis-dialed, so I called again...Yes, I heard correctly... The incorrect number is listed in several places on the internet. I then called the Crescent Dr. store again. I sat waiting on the phone for 1 hour listening to a continual recording, with no answer ...no exaggeration...I waited 1 entire hour for someone to assist me; NO ONE ANSWERED the phone. There is absolutely NO WAY the store is that busy to keep a customer waiting with no acknowledgement for one hour! A recorder advised that If I no longer wanted to wait for "in store" personnel, I could be transferred to another number, so I agreed...only to be placed on hold again for another 15 plus minutes before speaking with an agent. All and all the agent was quite nice once I explained how frustrated I was with having to wait so long to speak to a "live" rep. She was able to give me the answers that I needed in less than "FIVE" Minutes. Wow! It took almost 1 hour and 1/2 to get a 3.5 minute inquiry responded to. Also, one weekend I went to the CC Blvd. store to get a problem resolved with my phone. I entered the store; the only staff person in the store was assisting a customer. He looked up and saw me; he yelled to the front of the store from where he was standing that he was about to close to store for lunch and that I needed to "come back," as they were "understaffed." I asked him to repeat himself because I thought that I clearly must have misunderstood what he said. He stated that he was the only one working and needed to eat lunch; therefore, he needed to the store. I said, "Well, I'm not leaving until I get what I came here for." I totally empathize with the guy, but my time, money, and energy, are all valuable to me as well. All and all, the guy helped me and then quickly ran to put the sign on the door when he saw another customer approaching, so that he could have lunch... This is just not good customer service.
