When I dropped off my equipment, the portly sales agent said they would have to charge me $170 plus dollars for the four days of service after our billing cycle ended since our "promotion" was up. I told him I wasn't paying that for four days of Internet and he chuckled. I hate when customer service people seem to get a kick out of fing with customers. Stay away.

This week my connection started dropping at least 50% of packets. I called right away on Wednesday morning at 9am. They said the ONT needed to be replaced and that they would ship one out to me that day and that I should expect it the next day. I asked if I could pick it up, or any other option to not be down for a day and they said there wasn't. They shipped the ONT UPS Ground Saver from Santa Rosa, it won't be here until Friday at 9pm at the earliest so I called back twice and they said there was nothing they would do to help me. They also said that if the ONT doesn't resolve the issue I would have to wait for a tech appointment which would be another few days. --- Update: Sonic came through and dispatched a great technician, Guillermo, today who brought a new ONT and did extra work to make sure everything was working. I'm back online and very happy again.

He respected the situation I was in and focused on helping me get exactly what I needed without any pressure. In the end, he set me up with the best plan tailored to me and my family. His professionalism, kindness, and patience made a hard day a little easier to get through. Terry truly went above and beyond and deserves a raise and a promotion. I get 3 phone calls from their call center I assume is located in India on 3 consecutive days as late as 9 PM. Each & every time I get confirm your internet is work and we can cancel the Tech? No it's an INTERMITTENT problem. I can only assume Xfinity is doing their very best NOT to send a tech to my house. On the day of my appointment I get a text from the Tech. Will be arriving within 20 minutes. Have arrived. Shortly there after I get Sorry we missed you. Your appointment has been canceled. No one came to my door. I have to talk to I assume AI by computer to find out why my appointment was canceled. They say oh due to a technical issue your appointment was never made. That is a bold face lie since I had spoken with 3 call reps and got text messages from the Tech. I finely get a live person and I get the Yes Sir, Yes Sir 3 bags full we will have someone out tomorrow. NOT an hour later I get the call from the center telling me your internet is working can we cancel the appointment. Why yes you can, I will be going with another internet provider.

Credit card statement shows the return credit, presumably the tax I'd paid on the S25 being returned to my credit card account on April 1, 2025. Fast forward 14 months and my wife convinces me to switch back to AT&T, but in the process, Verizon says I owe them $477 to "buy out" the device (the S25). After 2 hours dealing with Verizon customer support, they cannot do anything for me, because they have NO RECORD of the return. This means Victra either A.) failed to complete the return with Verizon after I returned the device to them or B.) willfully kept the phone I returned without notifying Verizon of the return. In the first case, this would be massive incompetence, and in the second, outright fraud. Either way I'm out $477 because of it. I attempted to call the store to resolve this, but the phone just rang and rang with no answer. Do NOT do business with these people ever.
