I was very happy to have read the reviews on yelp that recommended this place and especially the sales rep, Greg Briggs. I visited the store, and indeed, he was extremely helpful. AT&T still gave us much of it's usual runaround, however, Greg had the patience to follow through with all the steps that were needed. I just couldn't manage them on my own, especially because of the cognitive challenges that arise from having multiple sclerosis, as well as my natural luddite tendencies. He was able to complete all of my lost cell phone service needs, even if it took over 4 hours (and two days). This is the kind of service that will help to continue to keep me as an AT&T customer. I'm grateful there is a physical store with staff. AT&T gets 2 stars, Greg gets 5 stars. read more

Went in to ask a question the sales person had a spare sec to answer my question and told me i would have to wait 20-30 minutes to have it answered. I explained i understand shes busy but it is a quick question and it is useless to wait 30 mins for no help... this is when she fired back with a rude disrespectiful "ok what". My question "my father passed and i was looking to get off his plan are you able to help or is that a support line" then i got a "support bye" to where i said thats why i did not want to stand around for a half an hour. I've now visited multiple times and walked out. Not because the service was poor. Because the wait each time was so long I left without receiving ANY service. No one greeted me. No one acknowledges I'm clearly waiting for help (not browsing). I just wait and wait and wait until I finally walk out. Service appears to be much faster and easier dealing with the ATT website. Eventually I'll end up upgrading my old iPhone 8...and when I do it will be a direct ship from the website upgrade, because the ATT store experience...has not been an experience at all. Mind you, I've been an ATT wireless customer for DECADES. In the past, service used to be so much faster and so much more attentive. Whatever has happened these days, in EVERY ATT store I've visited, has been such a significant decline in service that I'm thinking the corporation should just close the local stores and call it a day. read more

By far one of the best experiences at any att store and there's one person to thank for it all. Ira Hair If you are buying anything from this location buy from that man! He's got a good heart. I wish him the absolute best for his service he provided. Loyalty and honesty are NOT the same thing but you earn loyalty WiTH honesty. Ira solved my cell issues and worked with me, patient with me for a few hours. This experience far exceeded any prior. We had genuine conversation and instead of simply trying to make a sale he just DID his job! It's a DoG eat DoG world out there and most people will do anything to sell you crap u don't need but he didn't even try that with me. We both understood at that another location the man wanted to make a sale and did me wrong as a customer. ( my words not his ) but I will never go back to the Lafayette location as I know some of the employees now are not genuinely trying to take care of a customer and have them coming back they are trying to get a quick buck. You've got four employees sitting around the table and no one bothers to even get up greet me and they expected me to come to them. When my car was getting a tune up, I went to the Veranda ATT store to price out cheaper plans and compare to other companies. The WORKER, Sultan, signed me up for a new plan without my approval! At a certain point he was holding my phone doing something, and I asked what he was doing and he was closing out windows. Then I took my phone. He either approved something from my phone or forged something, as every time I've upgraded at ATT (since 1998!) many signatures are needed. When I was walking the shopping center I got an email saying thanks for signing up for a new plan. I am furious. I went back, and conveniently Sultan was on a break. (I was there for at least another hour and he never came back to the floor) Not only did the other employee confirm with me that signatures are required, he confirmed he changed my plan signed me up for a $100 more a month plan!!!! I am furious. I would like to talk to a manger. I find it odd that there is no manager on duty for 3 days in a row (so they tell me). ATT may completely loose our business after this. read more

The manager, Ivan, was very unhelpful. I was locked out of my account after a legal name change and went to change my account holder name in person and wasn't able to do so. Also, I had one request to change the number of my Apple watch and he said it was impossible to do so but calling 611 they were able to do so just fine. Poor business practice. Purchased store brand "lifetime warranty" phone screen protectors. Replaced once with our iphone 14's and 15. Today, 9/24/24, store does not have screen protectors for anything below iphone 15 and will bot restock or carry below 15's. Wasted our money buying store brand replacements. They said they only replace them if the protector is in stock. How can it be in stock if they will no longer stock them and or reorder them. False advertisement, poor business practice. I am so happy I went to the AT&T store in the willows. I dropped my phone in the pool and wasn't sure of what my options were, did I have to replace, warranty or could I upgrade? When I walked in Abdiel welcomed me into the store and walked me through my options. Abdiel was able to reset my phone. Ivan is the store manager of this location. Ivan called me while I was sitting in urgent care for an allergic reaction. I told him I could not talk and to call me later. He then had the audacity to call me right back with "just a quick question for you." I'm sorry but what part of I cannot talk right now do you not understand Ivan????? I then had to yell at him that I was sitting in urgent care and to call back later. (I answered the call because I was waiting for maintenance to work on a renovation issue, and needed to make sure I didn't miss them.) I went to the store following my urgent care appointment to find out he's the store manager and conveniently he was "in a meeting." I asked for the regional manager's name and number, and of course the rep claimed he didn't know who they were. Blatant fucking lie!!!! I have worked retail before and you always know who your regional manager is. Ivan I hope you see this. I will find out who the regional is and I will be lodging a complaint against you. read more

Avoid This AT&T Location at All Costs - Incompetence and Unprofessionalism Everywhere If you're looking for any kind of competence, professionalism, or basic customer service, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this location. This was hands down the most frustrating, infuriating, and downright unacceptable experience I've ever had at any store. I spent three hours at this AT&T location trying to upgrade my phone, and not only was the process a mess, but the staff's complete lack of professionalism was outrageous. The employee who was helping us was clearly new and didn't know what he was doing -- fine, I can be patient with that. But what I cannot accept is that none of the other employees cared enough to help him when everything went south. The transaction got stuck in processing, and instead of offering assistance, the rest of the staff just ignored the situation. Their tech support line was of no help either, and after wasting hours of my time, they told me to come back another day. Are you kidding me? What's even worse? The issue still isn't resolved. I now have to waste more of my precious time--on another day off--to come back and deal with the mess THEY created. Not only did they fail to fix anything, but now I have to go in and clean up their mess. It's absolutely unacceptable. And let's talk about the unprofessional, lazy employees for a minute. One of them was wearing sweatpants--yes, sweatpants--in a sales environment. How is this remotely okay? The entire store felt like a hangout spot for employees, not a place where customers should expect any kind of service. While I was waiting, another customer actually had to ask ME if I worked there because not a single person greeted her or bothered to check her in. This is supposed to be a sales environment, not a free-for-all. To top it all off, the manager was nowhere to be found, leaving a bunch of clueless, untrained staff to completely drop the ball. This store is an absolute disaster. The level of service I received was abysmal, and I'm furious that I now have to deal with this issue all over again. I purchased the JBL and the sound quality is terrible compared to many other brands. I told the sales guy during purchase that I was buying it as a gift and that I was going out of town on vacation to give it to said person. He never mentioned the 14 day return policy and unfortunately, I attempted to return it on the 15th day and there was absolutely no exceptions able to be made. I understand it was my fault for not reading the receipt and seeing that it was 14 days return policy. It's just really unfortunate that there's nothing they can do to assist you and that you're stuck with a bad product.. read more

The most horrible retail experience ever. The on site store Manager Jordan M. was the worst, disrespectful human interaction I have had. Instead of helping his retail associate ( who was a really pleasant person) with troubleshooting a new activation, he approached my family ( with 2 small children) with an arrogant and condescending attitude. Several months ago, he told us that our newly activated phone (which was not making phone calls) would eventually work and to go home. He proceeded to interrupt and cut us off when we tried to ask follow up questions. We ended up having to call customer service help desk line while at the store to get some answers- which was a simple fix ( a new SIM card). When he was addressed about his lack of assistance--he became defensive and hostile-- took off his sports coat and tried to lunge at my husband while he was holding our baby! Unprofessional, rude, and downright dangerous. Will never do business with this store. read more

I came in here at 6:45pm on a Monday evening. One AT&T rep was helping a customer. The other rep was sitting with her feet up and working on a laptop. Nobody greeted me when I walked in. I waited a few minutes and then went up to the woman with her head buried in her computer. I was told to "sit down on the couch." A few minutes later, a third AT&T rep walked out from the back. She proceeded to talk to the woman on the laptop. They spoke for a few minutes and then this rep walked out the door. Apparently, to go on her break. I had been waiting now for about 10 minutes. I walked over again and asked the woman on the laptop when I would be helped. I told her I was there only to return an item. She yelled at me, "M'am, I'm working on an escalation!!" I was then told I would either have to wait until she was finished, or until the rep who had just left on break returned to the store. I'm so not impressed. read more

I had the best experience here with Monica. I live in Vallejo but after looking at the horrible reviews of all the AT&T stores in Vallejo I decided to drive out to Concord. I was greeted immediately and put into the queue to be seen by the next available technician. I didn't have an appointment but waited no longer than 10 minutes to be seen. Monica knew exactly what to do to take care of my ask and I was out of there in less than 30 minutes with everything working exactly how I wanted it to. ATT IPHONE SCAM! ATT offers IPhone upgrades for customers. The IPhone I received had been previously opened and the seal on the phone itself had been pulled from the unit. Without delay, I immediately contacted ATT to ask for a new phone to be sent. The rep on the chat said I would have to pay a $50 RESTOCKING fee. I explained that I haven't even turned on the phone, just opened the box. I was then instructed to take the phone to an ATT store to dispute the $50. I immediately went to the CONCORD store and was told to contact their chat for resolution and they too restated the $50 fee. Again, I contacted the chat and with the rep on the phone walked back into the CONCORD store and asked for help to avoid the $50 restocking fee. Together, the store staff including the manager, was unable to solve the problem. The IPhone I received was not new but recycled. After escalating this problem to management and investing many hours without a resolution, ATT cancelled my service. YES, ATT blocked my service instead of solving this problem. I have been a loyal customer for many years. I purchased a new IPhone at the Apple store for the same cost and within minutes I was able get my number ported to another carrier. AVOID ATT AT ALL COST! Read all the various reviews in the area, not good! I have returned the recycled IPhone. The $50 restocking fee is TBD. ATT lacks customer support and credibility. read more

I came to this store today, actually I'm leaving the store right now, and the manager on Duty called Adam was really rude talking loud and embarrassing me in front of the entire store , not just with me a costumer that wanted to understand a bunch of unauthorized charges on my credit card but also with his coworker a really nice old gentleman. They are very nice and try to get things done. They just don't know what they are doing or they just don't care. My wife almost gave up and went to Verizon but we went to a different location and it was a completely different experience.They lied about phone delivery times they said 48 hours when in reality it was 7 business days for our specific phones. If that's the delivery time we are okay with that just tell us that. They said no and to certain things, and we felt as if they just wanted to get us out the building and get sales because another location took care of it . I shouldn't have to drive an additional 15 minutes to get good service. This location needs to get it together or get up to speed customer service is important. read more

Watch out for Brian Marshall, the guy with the giant 1993 tattooed on his knuckles. I went into this store and asked if it was possible to have a hotspot added to one of my phone lines. He says sure you should be able to do that. Great I say. I ask how much extra will it be a month. He says $5. I repeat only $5 what about extra fees or taxes. He says no it should be only $5. Sure enough this dummy changes my entire plan and adds an extra phone line to use as a hotspot. So I go from paying $135 a month to $170 a month because this so called hotspot is showing it'll cost me an extra $60 a month on my bill and this doesn't include the extra taxes I will have to pay for 3 lines now. Maybe tell the truth about what your doing next time Brian Marshall. Took me over an hour to have this shit corrected over the phone with customer service. I had a fairly difficult time getting internet for my home (due to credit freezes and fraud alerts I set up awhile ago) and I wasn't getting much help from the representatives I spoke with over the phone. Each representative promised to call me back with updates but when they didn't call back when they said they would, I would call. I would be speaking with a new representative each time who would say they had no record of me calling and I would essentially have to start the whole process of setting up internet. After 4 days of calling AT&T representatives (and being put on hold for at least 30 minutes each call) and working things out with credit bureaus, I was frankly very upset with the lack of progress in getting internet. I visited this store one evening right before closing and Freshta was able to initially assist me. Even though the store was about the close, Freshta took the time to assist me. While she wasn't able to fully resolve the issue (since the store was closing and the issue was a bit complicated), she did helpfully refer me to Marissa the manager and said I could just ask for Marissa the next morning. The next day, I spoke with Marissa and having to head into work shortly after the conversation, Marissa told me that I could rest assured that she would take care of it. Having had very negative experiences with the AT&T representatives on the phone, I was somewhat skeptical, but I'm thankful that I was wrong. Marissa did an excellent job calling AT&T customer service to sort out all the issues with making sure my account could be set up (it initially couldn't be set up without my credit being checked). Marissa frequently updated me on the status of my account and I was very thankful she helped me throughout this process. Despite her busy schedule, she prioritized customer service. Having worked as a manager in retail, I can tell when an employee is simply doing the bare minimum. From my experience here, Marissa and her staff here at the Concord AT&T store are exceptional! read more

I had recently went in to upgrade phone to the latest new series. The only problem was is that I did not have the current phone with me. I had previously backed up the older phone, and was able to activate newer phone while I was in the store. I had also purchased a screen protector and a phone case. The salesperson was friendly and very helpful. Shelby the gal, had activated the phone and it was simple. The phone was not so easy to sync up at home; even though I had recently backed it up to Pc. The Customer service at the store was spot on and we had all our questions answered while I was in store. I will probably go back to make sure we get the phone properly synced. read more

Purchased a Prepaid telephone number paid $30 for unlimited phone text a week later at this location upgraded to unlimited data told to pay $60 again with new due date the agent male African American promised on next month payment would receive a credit prorated. Instead business agent set up a business account buying Apple SE price same as prepaid adding line for $157. Second telephone number assigned. Was explicit with that employee Naema and Ashley that my prepaid number cannot be terminated but transfer to the postpaid account. New SIM given to me to install on May 5 for my original phone number. Several job resume interview occurred my original number critical! This store terminated my original number my new I Phone also rang only twice had to return to store for Marissa to return device and verify my original phone could receive calls which should have transferred account numbers for billing. Seems the AT & T agents had my original number Call Forwarding to unknown telephone but another CS supervisor removed that documentation when I called 16 days after purchase received email from a job my number has line disconnected! AT & T at this Corp store NEVER heard anything I told them about my original number losing job offers because this store never tested both phone lines functioned to receive calls and voicemail left by those employees verifying they had correctly setup the switching on their network! What amount of compensation should these employees pay the customer? Incompetent Ashley Henderson, Naema & Marissa ! Do not go to this store the employees cannot HEAR the customer! read more

I went in to make a payment, handed the young woman my debit card, and she ran it through the reader literally 4-5 times within 60 seconds. This shut my card down and froze my account. They seemed to be rather amused. Beware. Go somewhere else if you want decent service. Oddly enough, I went to this because the manger, I think she was the manger, was so nice.
