I walked in with a brick in my hand and Josh was able to revive my iPhone XR. He did exactly what I attempted to do only his magic touch worked. Josh didn't make me feel like an idiot and even offered advice on how to handle my "storage is full" issues, all with no charge. Give them a call for screen repairs, screen replacement, battery issues, etc. read more

Josh is legit and has made me a loyal customer for all my Mac needs moving forward! I had a 2015 MacBook Pro that crapped out back in 2018 or so. Screen wouldn't come on at startup and the entire thing would just power down. Back then I took it to an Apple Store where a genius told me it was out of warrantee and there were no guarantees they could repair, and if they did it would probably be less expensive to just buy a new laptop. I decided to just use my smaller MacBook Air and put the broken MacBook in a box at home. Flash forward to 2025, I noticed Fix that Mac while in Concord and decided to dig out the old broken MacBook to bring in. Josh said he'd have a look and give me a call with what he found. A few days later I get a text from Josh that he figured out the problem with the screen (a known graphics card issue) and also I needed a new battery as my battery was dead from being unpowered so long. We also decided to upgrade the hard drive so performance could meet almost 2025 standards and be able to jump up a few operating systems. After quoting me his estimates for the time plus hardware (which were incredibly reasonable) I gave the go ahead and my laptop was ready in another couple of days for pickup. Is my boosted 2015 laptop a match for the current 2025 line of MacBooks? Of course not! But it's running as well as my MacBook Air now and it's a great backup should I need more processing juice. Thanks, Josh! You work magic! Give this shop your business! read more

Called to see if they could do a diagnostic on a 12+ year old Mac. They took the Mac same-day, did a free diagnostic within 2-3 days, and the fix was a pay-only-if-it-works setup. Excellent service overall. Shop dog is adorable! read more

This shop is so amazing. I thought it was time to get a new Mac, but they did wonders. Forget that popular place with the nerds and bring your Mac here. read more

While they weren't able to fix my mac, they gave me great information on if I wanted to do something else...for example, a screen replacement (which was what I was hoping to avoid.) They didn't charge me one penny since they didn't fix my issue, I honestly felt a little bad that they spent time working on it / trying to fix it without charging even a modest diagnostic fee...but I greatly respect, appreciate, and recommend them for their professional integrity. In the future if I have another Mac device that I'm hoping is repairable or recoverable I won't hesitate to bring it by them. P.S. Macs are hard to repair in part because Apple tries to make them difficult to fix, support "right-to-repair" protections for everyone! read more

Awesome service. Second time going there. Thought I needed a new charging port. Wrong! All he did was dig out the lint preventing the plug from going in properly. He could have easily said, "Yep, you need a new port" and charge me accordingly. He could have made a quick buck, but he didn't, and that's why I go back - good service, knowledgeable help, and honest business practices. read more

I needed a new space bar key on my MacBook. I knew this was not an easy fix, but Josh was successful and got it done in a couple of hours. I will return when I have any future issues with my MacBook. read more

We've been bringing our phones, computers, and tablets to Josh for years, and every time he has resolved our issues quickly and at a fair price. This week, we needed his help twice with two different phone problems. The first repair took less than an hour, and the second time he diagnosed a software issue within minutes, after we had already spent quite a bit of time trying the usual fixes. Like another reviewer mentioned, when I asked what we owed, Josh said a positive Yelp review would be great. I appreciated that, but we insisted on paying him for his time and expertise, and his charge was nominal. read more

They are knowledgeable and get the work done fast. And getting there and parking are easy as it's off the main drag.

I left my iPad charging the other night and next morning I couldn't started and no charging indicator. Went to "fix that Mac", nice gentleman plug his charger with some voltage measuring device and my iPad came alive with 100% battery. Magic happened. Thank you so much for quick fix !!!! read more

My daughter had an issue with her iPhone--it was completely frozen and unresponsive. We brought it into this store, and Josh helped us right away and had it fixed within minutes. What really stood out was how he took the time to explain what caused the issue and showed us what to do if it happens again. Josh was knowledgeable, patient, and professional--the kind of customer service that's hard to find these days. I highly recommend this place for any iPhone repairs. Great service from start to finish! read more

Great service fair pricing he fixed my old 2012 MacBook pro. I would highly recommend this shop for repairs

I took my 10+ year old iPad in for a new battery. Josh got right on it and ordered the battery, then swapped it in. When I got home the display would rotate like it used to. I took it back, and he found it had to do with something related to removing the back to swap the new battery in. In a couple of days, it was ready, again, and worked perfectly. Josh is a great guy, very responsive and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure to work and talk with him. I would highly recommend using his services - his prices were extremely reasonable. Oh, and be sure to take in a dog treat with you to patronize his pup! read more

Stopped in because my watch stopped communicating with my iPhone and Iwas tired of wasting hours online trying to fix it! Josh helped me and he solved the issue at the counter. Josh is amazing! He saved my Mac book pro when others had given up hope. To give back story, my kid had spilled some milk over the left side of my laptop, after I wiped it off it was still working but died later on. When I went to the pros including Apple Store they try to ripoff and just make you buy a new laptop without taking a look. A local laptop repair shop referred Josh so we gave a try and boy I am so glad. Josh has a cool office, once you start talking with him you'll know this guy knows his stuffs. He has been doing this for over decades now. He was kind enough to take a look and get me back in few days and would not charge for the diagnostics. He found out what part needed to be replaced and my laptop is back to normal now. If you have any Mac related issues go to him not the fancy stores. read more

Can't thank Josh enough for reviving an old (really old!) MacBook Air. Works like a dream. Seriously, I couldn't be happier. Fix That Mac is in a very convenient location and Josh was friendly, professional and able to get to my machine right away (tip... go first thing in the morning, enjoy breakfast at the Bay Leaf Cafe and then have a coffee drink for dessert at Vinnie's bar). We have used the services if this shop a few times. Always great service. I've had the battery replaced in 2 different phones and my husband just had his screen replaced. BEST. SERVICE. EVER. I would literally give these guys 10 stars if it were possible! I brought in my 2007 white plastic iMac with a bad power supply. After having some trouble sourcing a replacement power supply, they decided to swap my hard drive into a 2010 Aluminum body iMac that they had lying around. The best part? The replacement computer was in 100% mint, brand new condition!!! I kid you not. As a matter of fact, the tech told me that, this morning, he peeled off the plastic protecting the Apple logo on the back! INCREDIBLE. Past service performed by them has also been top-notch and prompt. They even replaced a notebook touchpad the same day and only charged me $100. I am a customer for life. read more

Brought my iPhone in today as it's been randomly undocking when you so much as look at it funny. I knew it likely just needed a cleaning, and I hoped it wouldn't take too long. Dude got his tools and pulled out a wad of lint from the Lightning port. All told I was there about two minutes, and he refused to let me pay. What can I say. Heres the background, I have an older Mac it has been good to me all these years . Well one day it just died on me, I had the folder with the question mark icon appear I had never seen it before and had no idea what it meant. After looking it up myself and doing a little research I tried all the remedies suggested and nothing worked. Even though it is older I need it, it has all my work related files and being a designer I had to get it back up and running. Luckily I had it all backed up on an external hard drive my hard drive of my Mac, side note people make sure to have backups of your hard drive otherwise I would have been out of luck. Looked up to see places where they repair macs/computers and came across a few but ultimately decided on Fix That Mac! Am I glad I did within a few days I had my Mac up and running and running better than before. Josh was very helpful and had great customer service. I have found my place my go to, to bring all my apple related problems if any should arise in the future. Thanks again! read more
