Josh is legit and has made me a loyal customer for all my Mac needs moving forward! I had a 2015 MacBook Pro that crapped out back in 2018 or so. Screen wouldn't come on at startup and the entire thing would just power down. Back then I took it to an Apple Store where a genius told me it was out of warrantee and there were no guarantees they could repair, and if they did it would probably be less expensive to just buy a new laptop. I decided to just use my smaller MacBook Air and put the broken MacBook in a box at home. Flash forward to 2025, I noticed Fix that Mac while in Concord and decided to dig out the old broken MacBook to bring in. Josh said he'd have a look and give me a call with what he found. A few days later I get a text from Josh that he figured out the problem with the screen (a known graphics card issue) and also I needed a new battery as my battery was dead from being unpowered so long. We also decided to upgrade the hard drive so performance could meet almost 2025 standards and be able to jump up a few operating systems. After quoting me his estimates for the time plus hardware (which were incredibly reasonable) I gave the go ahead and my laptop was ready in another couple of days for pickup. Is my boosted 2015 laptop a match for the current 2025 line of MacBooks? Of course not! But it's running as well as my MacBook Air now and it's a great backup should I need more processing juice. While they weren't able to fix my mac, they gave me great information on if I wanted to do something else...for example, a screen replacement (which was what I was hoping to avoid.) They didn't charge me one penny since they didn't fix my issue, I honestly felt a little bad that they spent time working on it / trying to fix it without charging even a modest diagnostic fee...but I greatly respect, appreciate, and recommend them for their professional integrity. In the future if I have another Mac device that I'm hoping is repairable or recoverable I won't hesitate to bring it by them. P.S. Macs are hard to repair in part because Apple tries to make them difficult to fix, support "right-to-repair" protections for everyone! read more

I took my 10+ year old iPad in for a new battery. Josh got right on it and ordered the battery, then swapped it in. When I got home the display would rotate like it used to. I took it back, and he found it had to do with something related to removing the back to swap the new battery in. In a couple of days, it was ready, again, and worked perfectly. BEST. SERVICE. EVER. I would literally give these guys 10 stars if it were possible! I brought in my 2007 white plastic iMac with a bad power supply. After having some trouble sourcing a replacement power supply, they decided to swap my hard drive into a 2010 Aluminum body iMac that they had lying around. The best part? The replacement computer was in 100% mint, brand new condition!!! I kid you not. What can I say. Heres the background, I have an older Mac it has been good to me all these years . Well one day it just died on me, I had the folder with the question mark icon appear I had never seen it before and had no idea what it meant. After looking it up myself and doing a little research I tried all the remedies suggested and nothing worked. Even though it is older I need it, it has all my work related files and being a designer I had to get it back up and running. Luckily I had it all backed up on an external hard drive my hard drive of my Mac, side note people make sure to have backups of your hard drive otherwise I would have been out of luck.
