Scott responded to our phone call and project request and was able to see us the next day at his shop. We took our laptop and got to watch Scott take out the hard drive and connect it to his computer and then transfer our files to our external hard drive. Scott knows his stuff and explains things so you understand what he is doing. His price was incredibly reasonable for the work he did. We have new laptop for my wife and all her files and pictures and are able to move forward. If you need data recovery services or other computer services, don't hesitate to call Scott. It's nice to have a company near us when we need it.

I'm a senior citizen with little knowledge of cell phones. When my Samsung Note9 crashed, I took it to one of our other local repair shops. While they repaired it, it crashed again the very next day. So this time, I found Walnut Creek Fix, and saw they had excellent reviews. Well, there's a reason why their reviews are excellent. Their service is fantastic, and they fixed my Samsung within a few hours, and for an extremely reasonable price. I cannot say enough good things about Walnut Creek Fix, and I high recommend them to anybody who needs cell phone repair service. Screen wouldn't come on at startup and the entire thing would just power down. Back then I took it to an Apple Store where a genius told me it was out of warrantee and there were no guarantees they could repair, and if they did it would probably be less expensive to just buy a new laptop. I decided to just use my smaller MacBook Air and put the broken MacBook in a box at home. Flash forward to 2025, I noticed Fix that Mac while in Concord and decided to dig out the old broken MacBook to bring in. Josh said he'd have a look and give me a call with what he found. A few days later I get a text from Josh that he figured out the problem with the screen (a known graphics card issue) and also I needed a new battery as my battery was dead from being unpowered so long. We also decided to upgrade the hard drive so performance could meet almost 2025 standards and be able to jump up a few operating systems. After quoting me his estimates for the time plus hardware (which were incredibly reasonable) I gave the go ahead and my laptop was ready in another couple of days for pickup. Is my boosted 2015 laptop a match for the current 2025 line of MacBooks? Of course not! But it's running as well as my MacBook Air now and it's a great backup should I need more processing juice.
