They are angels!! I was talking on my iPhone yesterday and for some reason it just suddenly froze. My iPhone kept flashing the Apple logo on and off and I was totally panic stricken because I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow - and I don't want to cancel my vacation over my phone. I went to the Apple store and they told me it would be $450 to repair my phone AND that the part I needed wasn't in stock, so I would need to drive to the Valley Fair mall 30 minutes away. I was totally in shock and on top of that I had no way to navigate, as my iPhone wasn't work and I didn't have a GPS. I was so lucky to bump into Syed at CellDoc on the first floor out. He repaired my phone in 25 minutes and only charged me $50. $50!! Versus the Apple store $450, which was 89% cheaper!! I also decided to get a voice piece add on, a new screen protector, and a new phone case, which only raised it up to $150. I was so impressed with the service that I tipped $30. Syed is an angel! My friend came in on a Sunday so have the rear glass on her iPhone repaired. She was told it would only take 90 minutes so we killed time around the mall. They didn't have her sign any waiver, no receipt, not even a disclaimer, just come back in an hour in a half. So we come back and she's told; They fixed the glass but now the phone won't turn on. No explanation, no apologies, they broke her phone and where just like "Oh well, it happens" We asked to speak to a manager, but he wouldn't call the manager since he had left for the day. We asked what could be done to resolve the situation, nothing. They even expected her to pay for the replacing the rear glass. They broke her phone and expected her to pay! The next day she was able to call the manager and he told her there was nothing he could do. No compensation, no making it right, nothing. He even had the audacity to tell her that she should take better care of her phone: 1) aside from the rear glass being cracked, the phone worked fine. 2) and I can't stress this enough, you are a phone repair business. It's literally your business model to fix peoples phones. Imagine taking your car in for an oil change, and they tell you "We changed your oil but your car won't start now. You should really take better care of your stuff. Anyway here's your bill" They did offer to take her phone to another repair place to see if they could try and fix it, but obviously my friend has concerns leaving her phone with them again after they broke it. On top of they, they didn't even offer to pay for the repairs. This place is trash, no customer service, no accountability, nothing. read more

I do not like to knock small businesses because I understand the hustle. BUT I write this because the carelessness of this company was appalling. I came to get my front screen and back part of my phone fixed. I actually came with two phones to get fixed and paid about $330.00. Ok no problem! Forward 3 months, the screen of one of my phones just fell off. Yes, it fell off! NEVER has this ever happened to me before. I've dropped my phone multiple times and I've never had my phone screen just fall off. I went to their booth and they still wanted to charge me $100! Umm what? Great service. Fixed my phone in half an hour. When we first gave it to them the phone looked to me like it could not be fixed as the screen was destroyed, couldn't see anything when it was turned on except a small light. It now looks perfect and works perfectly. I don't know what everyone is complaining about on here. You all broke your phones in the first place. Also there's literally a sign on every station, and in the store that says all sales are final and no refunds. Oh and if you drop your phone again and it breaks, again, that's once again your fault and not their problem or responsibility to replace your screen again for free. 5 out of 5 stars, this place is great. read more

I got a screen protection (glass) on January 3rd 2019. It is the one they sell as unbreakable , as you can see by the pic which there is a hammer on it. But for some reason, with my phone in my denim pocket it got cracked. I came to the store to get it replaced but they told me it is not going to happen cause there is not warranty. It's a lie, as you can see on banner at the quiosque which there is a hammer image saying/selling that. they said it was my fault, And more, he asked me if I had any key in my pocked which could cause the damage since I didn't drop it. I got so pissed for the situation that I would like to share this bad experience at CELL DOC. My advice is, don't get this "glass protection" at all with them neither anywhere else, cause both is just bad propaganda (lie) with the intention to deceive you. This review is for the cell-doc on the lower level of the mall. I cracked my IPhone XS screen a while back and was walking around the mall with my wife and decided to have my screen fixed here. It was Sunday 10/1/2023. I paid in cash and did not ask for a receipt and walked away without inquiring about any warranty or anything. Today Wednesday 10/11 all of a sudden, squiggly lines appeared on the screen of the phone. I went back and he changed my screen no questions asked even though I didn't have a purchase receipt. He agreed to fix it once more without any payment and did a great job. This is the kind of business you look for when you are looking for an honest repair place that also has integrity. It only costs 19 dollars. If my actually phone screen had been broken it would have cost $85 which is a lot cheaper than a brand new iPhone. I replaced my broken iPhone 8 screen at cell doc and after a few days, with a light drop the whole screen shattered and the phone was not working anymore. They do not fix your phone with Apple products, they use counterfeit products that are cheap and break easily. The products probably cost around 10$ and they are charging over $100 to repair the iPhone screen. When asking to speak to the manager, the guy would not give out his phone number. read more

Wow! Omar totally save me and my iPhone X today. Long story short: my iPhone started acting up last week. It wasn't charging. I tried everything. I took it to the Apple Store in Walnut Creek (see my separate review for that disaster!) They did a diagnostic but could not figure out what was causing the issue. I asked about the battery. "Nope, it looks good." My phone died over the weekend so I reached out to Cell Doc this morning. He said he would replace the battery and if that didn't fix it, he wouldn't charge me. Ummm. sold! I gave him the phone which he took apart and replaced the battery. It started charging right away. He double checked everything and I was go to go. Total price? $69. I also purchased a tempered glass screen to protect my phone for an additional $20. If you are having issues with your phone or tablet or damaged the screen, I would definitely give Omar a try. These guys use the cheapest quality parts and don't stand behind their work. They replaced a screen and within a few months the glass separated from the screen and the bottom of the display is jittering and showing lines. Their answer was to pay to replace it again. I got my screen repaired for my iPhone 8 and the screen sensor did not work correctly and would freeze. They would reset the phone and say it was fixed and the issues would continue. I have purchased numerous screen protectors and the would show you that it takes a lot to crack the screen, and all my screen protectors cracked fairly quick and with ease. I purchase the most recent one and the next day I put it in my pocket and with no keys, no wallet and no change just the phone by it's self. And I pulled it out and the edge was cracked and the bottom corner began to spider. I went to the store and show them and explain that my keys must have done it. I explained I put my phone in my paovket by its self and he continue to tell me there's nothing he can or will do for me. Over all the products are not well made and cheap and would not recommend you purchase from them. Spend the extra money for the top of the line products that last longer.
