After 5 years with other provider, I switched three lines to verizon from another company and also bought three new cell phones. At first it looks like they are a corporative Verizon store which they aren't; they are victra a third-party sales store. As a result of this they charge much more than a real Verizon store, but this is not the main issue. The game started when they told me that I have to buy a hum to be able to claim the offer of $ 600 for switched to Verizon, they told me that the cost of hum was $ 240.00 but that I wont pay anything because verizon is going to deduct the $ 240.00 from the $ 600.00 at the end I will get$ 360.00 through a gift card enstad of the $ 600.00. When I arrived at home I looked at the official verizon website and notice that everything they had told me did not match what Verizon offered. At that moment I decided to call the customer service and they explained how everything really worked, they told me that first of all I did not need to buy the hum to be able to claim the $ 200.00 for each line, secondly they did not have to deduct the $ 240.00 because in my 24 months contract they charge me $ 10.00 every month, and for the cost of the hum will be $ 120.00 at the end of the 24 months, and not $ 240. Overall, they claim the $600.00 and them victra takes $240.00 than victra will send to me a second gift card with $360.00. Afortunate, I called the costumer service on time and they told me how to claim the $600.00 throught a link where I can claim the offer.I had a bad experience with victra store. Verizon is a good provider, but these third-party stores make verizon look bad. The way these victra store training their employees is how to stealing money from customers. They put up the Verizon sign and crew puts on Verizon lanyard. They do not tell you that they are a third party store. When you ask them, they say they are the "premium retail store". Bullshit, they are not!!! They have "A Wireless" on their invoices. One of the salesperson even said the store was 4G Wireless, and was acquired by A Wireless later. They didn't have time to update that. Whatever, the bottom line is this is not a Verizon corporate store. Therefore, you'll get billed for some unknown charges. They charge you for service they do not provide - set-up fee for $20, some waterproof insurance and some VIP membership. All these charges are not legit Verizon charges. If you sign up for any of the above service, that is not part of Verizon service. You get a bill from Verizon for activation and insurance later. Yes, you get double charged!!! This was by far the greatest experience I have had at any retail store. I called ahead of time and spoke with Robert who was extremely helpful. I came in to the store to work out an issue. Robert and Corey went out of their way to give me the best deal they could. They were patient and explained everything clearly to me. I was extremely impressed with their service. I came out with a new phone and new favorite store. I was asking complicated questions and they went out if their way to make the experience as pleasant and smooth as possible. I have never experienced worse service before in my entire life. I checked in like the sign had said which said to wait for a text message letting us know we can be seen. We ended up waiting an hour and a half and still did not receive a text message so we went back into the store and waited there. Finally we were able to talk to someone and ask them if we can be helped since we've been waiting and didn't receive a text yet. We informed the guy that we just wanted a 5G SIM card for my new unlocked iPhone, which is when the guy informed us that they were out of 5G SIM cards and so could not help me and told me to go somewhere else. He didn't even offer to better assist us such as telling us when they would be getting new SIM cards or offered to see if there were any stores close by that had availability. We went to a different store (the one in San Marino) and received help right away and were in and out of there in 20min. Never going to this Verizon store ever again! read more

The first time I signed up with Verizon the girl said I got to choose a free phone case ("managers special"), and she said that it would be credited on my next bill. NOPE, I spent $50 on a stupid plastic case and never got credited for it. I was having a crappy day, and I was clearly taken advantage of. I went back another time to get an employee discount and I was told to apply online (long process), and I was declined. I recently went to the Pasadena location for a friend and they gave him a discount on the spot just with a pay stub. So I went back to the Main st location to try again and the girl gave me the run around AGAIN (doing it online), I told her to take my stub but she said their scanners and printers and systems are down, so I told her to use my phone. When you meet this kid you'll understand that she is not only lazy but full of s***. I honestly don't know how these people work there, they will eat in front of you (big meals), lounge on the chairs while helping you, they're on their phones, I've seen them be selective on who they want to help (tell you their systems are down so you leave while helping someone else who walks in). I really think they are high schoolers that were handed this job and just brought their friends in. If you do go in, please do your research before going in, make sure you read everything, or hell, just do it online! read more

Poor communication attitude from store manager Claudia Hernandez. I got a free upgrade to iphone 5s and was excited to sign a 2-year contract to get it. In the mean time, I changed my calling plan. Claudia was helping me while I told her that I had two questions to ask. My first question was toward the calling plan. Claudia said that I needed to find out from Verizon directly. Claudia immediately turned away and worked with one of her colleagues before I even had a chance to ask my second question. I was feeling really bad on her manners. They all dressed in Verizon uniform but they work for 4G Wireless Inc. rather than for Verizon. I left the store and forgot to get a receipt on the amount I paid. Come to think of it. This place in Alhambra the new location near the Habit and Sprouts scammed me! I left happy and purchased 2 phones one in May and the other in June for my two daughters 2 I-phone 6's. However, today in reviewing my bill I noticed they charged me for 3 extra lines for "free tablets". I had informed them originally I did not want it and they told me why not it was free. They also informed me I could cancel the service at any time without problem or fees and I could keep the tablets. I was shocked to see the extra fee so I contact the Verizon on line via Chat and they informed me I was locked in for 2 years this extra 60.00 /month. They told me I only had 2 weeks to cancel the service which would have cost me well over thousand extra dollars. So I told them i was misled. I read the contract and there it says early termination fee up to 175.00. So I am dumb for not reading and dumb for trusting their words. Shame on me- and shame on this Verizon Store. I should have trusted my gut that nothing was FREE! I had worked with previous management at the old store which was next to the Ralph's on Main and NEVER was I misled so I thought I would get the same quality service. I had over 10 yrs of coverage by VERIZON. However, today this all changed. I cancelled the tablet contracts X 3 which cost me $525.00. and as soon as my contracts are up for the three phones-I will be canceling my service with Verizon. I had been a loyal customer for over 10 yrs- now they lost me due to deceit and scam techniques at the ALHAMBRA Store next to Sprouts on Main Street. So now this single mother of 2 daughters in college is out the $525.00 which could have been spent on tuition. I will never be fooled by this place again! read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. My iPhone wasn't working properly and the sales girl told me she could replace it. What she failed to mention was that she was replacing it for a brand new phone with monthly payments for the next two years to pay off $650. Instead, all she said was that they would fix it and it was all good and now I'm stuck with paying for a new phone. Save yourself the money and frustrations. This is by far the worst verizon retailer ever. Robert and Cedric are literally the most rude and annoying people i have ever in my life encountered. We walk in the store to robert belittling a man who was questioning a fee on his bill to the point that it made us uncomfortable. Then we had to deal with him. He was beyond horrible at customer service making statements that were literally false In regards to billings and upgrades. We told him to take his attitude down a notch. We asked for his supervisors number and name and he lied and gave us the number to the store instead of her number as if we are idiots and cant find the number ourselves. Then cedric runs up and tries to yell at us because he was attempting to defend this behavior. We told him that he was beyond rude to the guy before us and he needs to basically shut the hell up. They both lied and said they were supervisors and assistant managers when they arent. So whoever Monica is that manages the store will be hearing from us asap. After the unpleasant experience, my husband called a Verizon customer service number. The person who assisted him apologized and asked my husband to hold while he called the Verizon Store Manager. My husband was given the option of returning to the store for the headset, which he did because we hadn't left the store's parking lot. I came with my boyfriend to add myself to his line and I was greeted immediately by two representatives and was asked if I needed any assistance. Anna was the actual rep that helped me that day and she was very nice and helpful to all the questions I needed answered.
