The first time I signed up with Verizon the girl said I got to choose a free phone case ("managers special"), and she said that it would be credited on my next bill. NOPE, I spent $50 on a stupid plastic case and never got credited for it. I was having a crappy day, and I was clearly taken advantage of. I went back another time to get an employee discount and I was told to apply online (long process), and I was declined. I recently went to the Pasadena location for a friend and they gave him a discount on the spot just with a pay stub. So I went back to the Main st location to try again and the girl gave me the run around AGAIN (doing it online), I told her to take my stub but she said their scanners and printers and systems are down, so I told her to use my phone. When you meet this kid you'll understand that she is not only lazy but full of s***. I honestly don't know how these people work there, they will eat in front of you (big meals), lounge on the chairs while helping you, they're on their phones, I've seen them be selective on who they want to help (tell you their systems are down so you leave while helping someone else who walks in). I really think they are high schoolers that were handed this job and just brought their friends in. If you do go in, please do your research before going in, make sure you read everything, or hell, just do it online! read more

Very unsatisfied ! I called multiple times to get a better understanding of what I was being charged and the person who answered the phone did not want to help me at all. I called back Patrick answered then I was talking to him about my situation and reason of calling then he put me on hold and I could hear him helping another costumer at the store and then he hung up on me. This place in Alhambra the new location near the Habit and Sprouts scammed me! I left happy and purchased 2 phones one in May and the other in June for my two daughters 2 I-phone 6's. However, today in reviewing my bill I noticed they charged me for 3 extra lines for "free tablets". I had informed them originally I did not want it and they told me why not it was free. They also informed me I could cancel the service at any time without problem or fees and I could keep the tablets. I was shocked to see the extra fee so I contact the Verizon on line via Chat and they informed me I was locked in for 2 years this extra 60.00 /month. They told me I only had 2 weeks to cancel the service which would have cost me well over thousand extra dollars. So I told them i was misled. I read the contract and there it says early termination fee up to 175.00. So I am dumb for not reading and dumb for trusting their words. Shame on me- and shame on this Verizon Store. I should have trusted my gut that nothing was FREE! I had worked with previous management at the old store which was next to the Ralph's on Main and NEVER was I misled so I thought I would get the same quality service. I had over 10 yrs of coverage by VERIZON. However, today this all changed. I cancelled the tablet contracts X 3 which cost me $525.00. and as soon as my contracts are up for the three phones-I will be canceling my service with Verizon. I had been a loyal customer for over 10 yrs- now they lost me due to deceit and scam techniques at the ALHAMBRA Store next to Sprouts on Main Street. So now this single mother of 2 daughters in college is out the $525.00 which could have been spent on tuition. I will never be fooled by this place again! read more

Poor communication attitude from store manager Claudia Hernandez. I got a free upgrade to iphone 5s and was excited to sign a 2-year contract to get it. In the mean time, I changed my calling plan. Claudia was helping me while I told her that I had two questions to ask. My first question was toward the calling plan. Claudia said that I needed to find out from Verizon directly. Claudia immediately turned away and worked with one of her colleagues before I even had a chance to ask my second question. I was feeling really bad on her manners. They all dressed in Verizon uniform but they work for 4G Wireless Inc. rather than for Verizon. I left the store and forgot to get a receipt on the amount I paid. Come to think of it. Why did they not give me a copy of my payment on their own initiatives. They are allowed to practice business like this? read more

This is by far the worst verizon retailer ever. Robert and Cedric are literally the most rude and annoying people i have ever in my life encountered. We walk in the store to robert belittling a man who was questioning a fee on his bill to the point that it made us uncomfortable. Then we had to deal with him. He was beyond horrible at customer service making statements that were literally false In regards to billings and upgrades. We told him to take his attitude down a notch. We asked for his supervisors number and name and he lied and gave us the number to the store instead of her number as if we are idiots and cant find the number ourselves. Then cedric runs up and tries to yell at us because he was attempting to defend this behavior. We told him that he was beyond rude to the guy before us and he needs to basically shut the hell up. They both lied and said they were supervisors and assistant managers when they arent. So whoever Monica is that manages the store will be hearing from us asap. If I could give 0 stars, I would. My iPhone wasn't working properly and the sales girl told me she could replace it. What she failed to mention was that she was replacing it for a brand new phone with monthly payments for the next two years to pay off $650. Instead, all she said was that they would fix it and it was all good and now I'm stuck with paying for a new phone. Save yourself the money and frustrations. This store is filled with shady characters with no integrity who only care about meeting their sales quota for the quarter. They will lie through their teeth for a sale. read more

Devin from this store is very friendly and knowledgeable about their products and services. Jose, however, is rude and incompetent in the job. He does not have enough knowledge to answer customers' questions and instead put up this arrogant attitude and tell customers false information. After the unpleasant experience, my husband called a Verizon customer service number. The person who assisted him apologized and asked my husband to hold while he called the Verizon Store Manager. My husband was given the option of returning to the store for the headset, which he did because we hadn't left the store's parking lot. My husband walked in and as soon as the store manager saw him he walked away and another employee handled the situation. I came with my boyfriend to add myself to his line and I was greeted immediately by two representatives and was asked if I needed any assistance. Anna was the actual rep that helped me that day and she was very nice and helpful to all the questions I needed answered. The process to add a line, which I thought was going to take at least an hour took less than half an hour and we even had a reduction on our monthly bill. I've been to this store 4 times and called twice and they always made me wait an excessive amount to even be seen, they never had materials so they made me order them then they never arrived. They can't even transfer data off my old phone either through the app or by computer. They have now messed up our account and we are being charged large amounts of money for no services. If I could I would have given them 0/5 stars. They are liars, I go in to upgrade my husbands phone and get an iPad (since they were having a iPad special) and they try to activate my husbands phone, they did a poor job I had to step in and do it myself and they still charged me a hidden set up and go plus fee (which they claim Verizon has that fee and I called Verizon and they said store lied). Second they don't have the iPad in stock but their sister store has one that is down the block that they will go get it and call me tomorrow to pick it up, tomorrow comes no calls, 2 more days come and go no calls so finally I call and they give me this BS answer that is had to be ordered and it won't be here until the next day. Again I call the next day and (mind you it's Friday a whole week later) they say until Sunday because it's still in transit or back ordered another stupid excuse, finally Sunday evening I call and they have it, sealed in opened and I pick it up and go quickly only to realize they charged me for a set up and go plus fee (which first thing under comments on receipt says this fee is non refundable) for the iPad too and they did not set up my iPad at all, so I call Verizon Wireless and complain and unfortunately since they are not technically Verizon they can't do anything but make a note and investigate. Third their bundle deals for accessories, after broken down, are actually more expensive than actual Verizon stores or online. Even though the guy I dealt with in the beginning (derrick) was actually nice and friendly, these hidden cost and the chick that answered every time was a straight out condescending Bi***, totally put me off to ever go back to that store I really hope Verizon does something to have then stripped from using Verizon's name. I went into this store yesterday with questions regarding my upgrade and my account. Never in my life have I been treated so rudely by a company to whom I give money on a monthly basis; both employees I dealt with (an older male and a younger female) wore smirks that implied an ulterior agenda. I was told that I am an expendable customer, my business is not needed, and that my concerns are not valid. The employees were cocky and arrogant as the talked down to, belittled, and insulted me. Needless to say my account issue was not resolved. The female employee attempted to redeem herself by saying 'Have a nice day,' as the door closed behind me, but it actually had the converse effect. After 10 years of being a loyal Verizon customer, I plan to switch as a direct result of the behaviors of the employees who work at this store. read more

Horrible service, employees at the Alhambra Verizon wireless retail store do not know what they are doing! My husband and I went here to upgrade our iPhones and after 45 minutes the employee couldn't even produce a legible contract on her iPad. The computers were down and neither of the 2 employees in the store were motivated or knowledgeable enough to service us or give us confidence in the products and contracts we were purchasing. We left the Alhambra store and went to the Pasadena corporate verizon store where we got excellent service and products at much better prices. read more
