Warning DO NOT GO TO THIS RETAILER It says Verizon but they don't know what they are doing and if things go wrong they direct you to call 800 number or go to a corporate Verizon store. I wanted to do a simple upgrade and requested to pick up new phone at this location. BIG MISTAKE . I went to pick up the phone on Monday and the rep couldn't locate it snd said it must have been sold to someone else. Rep calls others on the phone for help cuz it is obvious he doesn't know what he is doing. He proceeds to change the id number on myorder so i can get a phone but in this process he indicates on the system that i picked up the phone. Rep is stuck not knowing what to do gets on the phone with corporate for 3 hours to cancel the order so that i can process a new order. Well 7 hours later and 3 visits to Verizon store and I still can't get a phone or do an upgrade. They have locked up my account and everyone tells me to wait til it clears the system. Unbelievable. Warning to not shop here: Sale people are snakes, this store is a scam Similar to other reviews and experiences sale people walk me thru a a convoluted and unclear signing process. While they claim deal and rebate will take place within 2 billing periodos this is not always this case. I was signed up for a phone line and phone insurance I never consented too. On wireless plus' company website they claim integrity, transparency and customer service are they core values but if anything I have seen the exact opposite. This Verizon Store is a scam setup. Don't fall for their promotion pitch it could be a lie. It has prominent Verzion sign all over but it is not a Verizon store. It is a scam store that act as one. I purchased 2 iPhone 12 Pro Max in November. The salesperson there gave an incredible deal I couldn't refuse. BOGO and Trade-in. BOGO was tempting on brand new iPhone 12 Pro Max but the man said there is a Trade-in for $900 on top of that. Basically pitch was for 2 lines I trade in my 10 XS Max and get $900 Trade-In value and get a free 12 Pro Max. I signed up on the spot. Oddly the contracts didn't mention any of the discounts he was promising. He said it will get updated after I sign up on the Verizon website and go through trade-in process. I should have known better when I saw the contract which didn't have specific discounts listed on it. I processed trade-in and it valued XS Max at $350. But even that was reduced to $330. Not the $900. But the worst part was that BOGO was not a BOGO. I was lead to believe that I will be getting a 12 Pro Max. NOPE! I got $400 credit. I bought 2 $1200 phone and got $750 promotion. I would not have spent the money if it wasn't for this salesperson's scam. I called Verizon and they acted as innocent vendor who didn't know what kind of scam or bogus discount the store flying their logo was selling. They told me they don't know any of the promotion that was pitched. They flat out said they didn't have those promotions. Verizon is scamming consumer with this non-store wireless scammer that is selling Verizon service under their logo and act as nothing to do with what they sold. This is a scam setup between these third party vendor and Verizon. read more

SCAM SCAM!!! Don't go here! Bought a new iPhone from here, and needed to pay the sales tax. Emily Aguilar said the sales tax was 150 dollars, and we could get a phone case and screen protector for free which it includes. And also needed an extra 50 dollars for the "set up fee" so the total bill was 200 dollars. At first we didn't question it,but on the way home we realized something was off. Firstly, the sales tax should not be 150, secondly they never gave us an invoice. I went back to ask in detail, and Krisney Tran proceeded to LIE to me about our bill, saying the sales tax is 150 dollars and set up fee was another 50. She then called me a "DUMB ASIAN" for not knowing the calculations. After demanding for the invoice, here is what I found. Sales tax was only 70 dollars! They ChARGED us for both the screen protector and case cover. Secondly, the supposed "set up fee" was actually a 50 dollar charge for their Loyalty program! This review is a bit late (okay, a lot late), but important nonetheless because I want to acknowledge Joey, the store manager, who did in 5 minutes what Verizon's customer service (by phone) could not do -- which was to get my iPhone restored following a significant network outage. (For some reason, outage zapped my phone and I had no service. So I called Verizon, spoke to at least 5 people, the last rep gave me a ticket number and told me it could take a few days to have their techs fix the problem. Also (here's the kicker) he warned me not to place a follow-up call, or it would interrupt the entire process and could delay getting my service restored -- I mean, wtf. Naturally, after 2 days of no phone service and no update from the rep who repeatedly told me not to worry, I called back only to learn that my ticket had been closed and that everything should be fine. It wasn't fine. My phone was useless. So I walked around the block into this Verizon location, met Joey who was still officially at lunch and re-opened the store early for me. He simply took the SIM card out of my phone and replaced it with a new one. Boom. Done. The whole thing couldn't have taken more than 10 minutes. Now, pivoting from Joey's stellar service, here's a warning for anyone reading this: No matter how insistent a phone based rep is that you do not call back while Verizon techs are working on your problem, DO NOT listen to them. Had I not called back, I would never have known that they closed my ticket without informing me. I would have been the sucker waiting for days with no phone service. So again, THANK YOU Joey for saving the day. read more

Had an issue with my daughter's phone at another phone service so brought her over onto my service and I had $1000 towards a new phone-I like to keep my phones as long as possible but the screen was cracked so went ahead and got my upgrade. With the new added line and upgrade, my bill went up only a fraction. The best part of this location was manager Joey. He was incredibly patient, thoughtful, and didn't mind all the extra explaining. A few months back my sister bought my mom a new iPhone 10. The guy manning the store was not the regular employee there but was brought in from the Van Nuys store to cover for him while he was out on vacation or sick or something. I didn't catch the guy from Van Nuys name but he was very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. He transferred the data from my mom's iPhone 6 to the iPhone 10. We are very satisfied with his customer service skills and his knowledge. We went back the other day because my mom kept on tapping the screen with three fingers when trying to do things and the screen gets big and I have to reverse it by tapping it with three fingers. So we hoped something could be done about that feature. The guy working this time was very helpful too. I think his work ID badge said his name was Ralph if I am correct. He went to the settings and shut that feature off. Now my mom has no issues with that anymore. Also when she talked the phone would touch her ear and then it would start dialing people in her contacts while she was on the phone with another person. She blamed the phone but I blame her for doing that and I told her to be careful and keep the phone away a bit from her ear. Regardless of what I said my mom wanted something done if it could be done. The glass protector sheet that is on the phone was placed on the phone over the sensor so the phone was confused and the feature that allows the phone screen to deactivate when you are on the phone was no deactivating. The guy was able to figure out that was the issue and he adjusted that protector and now the sensor works without confusion and no more accidental calls occur while on another call. Ralph did a great job of figuring out and fixing it. His customer service skills and his knowledge is great. I highly recommend you visit him if you need assistance or buy a phone. Like I say I think his name is Ralph but not positive but probably is. read more

We came in to purchase our new iPhones, trade in our old ones, and also move my number over to my husbands account. In total it took us about 1 hour 30 minutes because my husband's phones data didn't transfer properly over to his new phone the first time. For my phone i decided just to do it at home to save some time. The store associate informed me that I would be getting a box in the mail for my trade in. 2 weeks have passed and I still haven't received the box. I've called this store twice now to ask about this. The first time they told me just to wait for it. The 2nd time (today) a different person picked up and said if they didn't make me take a photo of a confirmation number that they probably didn't process the trade in for me and that I should call Verizon or go online and do it myself. So I try... only to find out they didn't even properly put the correct phone on my husbands account... they put a phone i had over 3 years ago on his account instead. on top of that my old iphone was never even deactivated causing our bill to be over in data this month as well. I just spent over 1 hour on the phone with Verizon because they can't figure out what the store associate did. Now I have to go back into a Verizon store to waste more time to get this fixed. I called the tech support line four times and each time made some progress but was not able to get the issues fully resolved. I'd avoid this place. Go to browse but purchase at Verizon online or not an this "authorized dealer". Accessories are final sale and they don't sell name brand items. I was looking for a samsung charger and the freckled face rep sold me an off brand claiming it was just as good. The charger is slower than my current one and he wouldn't let me return it. The fine print on the receipt says "sales are accessories are final"... even if the product doesn't do as advertised. You should've told me about that disclaimer before you sell it to me! I have been dealing with fraud on my account with my previous carrier "t-mobile" for about 6 months now. Ever since I opened a phone line I thought there's no better phone service than them.
