This store is nice inside, it's clean and quiet. My biggest shoutout is for Christine, the store manager, she was super helpful. I walked in and it wasn't too busy so she had the time to give me the whole run down on luxury sunglasses, like the timeless classic models, polarized vs none and differences in material. I walked in with really no clue about luxury sunglasses and I found it a bit overwhelming, bc you're spending a good amount of money so you want to make the right purchase, but there's hella options. Poor Customer service/management experience. I ordered replacement lenses for a basic pair of Raybans on Aug 13. They called me Aug 30 and left a message saying the lenses had arrived and to come in to swap them out. I went into the store to swap out the lenses 2 days ago on Monday Sep 15 and the sales assistant told me that it would take 30-60 mins to swap them out. I couldn't wait that long so I dropped off my sunglasses with him and I told him I would be back the next day to pick them up. I returned to the store 2 days later Sep 17 and the same sales rep told me that they couldn't find my new lenses, no phone call to let me know in advance, he was just waiting for me to return to the store to give me the bad news. He went on to question if I had even gotten a phone call from their store and I had to prove it to him on my phone. He then proceeded to call his manager and the manager told him something and the sales rep ended up never even apologizing once, not even to say I'm sorry you have to wait, but instead blamed me. He said because you waited so long to come into the store to pick the replacement lenses, we've lost them or we don't know where they went (?!). If I waited too long, the store could have called me to remind me to come in soon. This is a very substandard way of serving your clients and retaining your clients. read more

The manager Christine was very patient and helpful as I tried on what felt like 80% of the store before finally deciding on a pair. I stopped by yesterday with my friend after we got drinks near by. We came by for one pair of sunglasses and somehow ended up leaving with three pairs. The two girls working were THE SWEETEST!! My friend was looking for the Justins and she showed him where they were and helped him pick out a pair of polarized ones (has a little p next to the "rayban" logo). She also told us about the sale they have going on currently. Buy one pair, get the next pairs (YES MULTIPLE!!) $60 off. Now you can see how we ended up walking out with three pairs.. Claudia was so patient and helped me pick out a new pair of sunglasses. She also endured my friend and I's constant jokes! I was hesitant to try on circular sunglasses because of my face shape but she recommended a few pairs she personally owned and I fell in love with the hexagon ones! I also tried on the I shaped ones, and the octagon ones. My friend ended up getting an octagon (polarized) sunglasses for his girlfriend. They have an option to ship to your house for FREE!! It comes in 2-3 business days. The workers are super personable with all the customers who walked in so don't be shy! read more

I found what I wanted within my budget, and before I bought them I asked if I could have a new pair and not the display pair. She found me a new pair and so I bought them. I tried to return $350 dollar sunglasses here which were originally purchased at Glendale only 3 days prior and Darlini Singh who claims to be the manager refused to return them for a spec that was always there. (They are never worn) She tip toed around how she is unable to resell the sunglasses because of the spec. She said she isn't surprised that Glendale sold my dad the glasses in this condition because they do this every time. She told me to return to Glendale to try to return them. I told her if Sunglass Hut is one entity, what are they gonna do for me there if it's all one policy. I let her know she's sending me across cities because she doesn't want to eat thrShe had nothing to say. There is nothing wrong with these glasses, she just didn't want to take a return from a different store. SO I DID SOME RESEARCH. Turns out Sunglass hut operates like a franchise, they don't want to take returns from other stores because its money lost. I went to the better business bureau and discovered this is something that's happening across the United States! Sunglass Hut and specifically DARLINI and practicing very shady business practices. Hi guy's, I just wanted to let you know that I usually leave reviews when 1 the experience was awful or 2 the experience was amazing. Luckily, after me calling and stopping by multiple locations I finally found the right one! To make it short and simple, my associate Darlini was extremely patient and very helpful on making sure I got the right Costas sunglasses. I actually got the wrong lens color Costas and she made the exchange go super easy. I have gone to several other locations and they actually made me feel really bad as if I actually stole the lenses. I told them that my guys at work have actually bought me a set for my birthday and that I wanted to have them replace and go with the green lenses Costas instead. The minute I called Darlini on 5/10 she was a ball of joy over the phone, she told me to come in and that she was going to try to pull up my order and have them replaced to the correct ones. I went in today on 5/14 and she was awesome!!! Super friendly and made me feel really comfortable. I'm definitely seeing her next week hopefully to buy multiple glasses. I found the right spot so I definitely will only come back for her and only her! I really didn't get the other associate name but she was also very good. I've been going to this place for years and unfortunately there was one lady that was there gave a really bad customer service to a repeat customer. Bad judgement on her part and the store for hiring her. On 9/27/20 and she was wearing a blue dress. She did not want to help with adjustment for something that I bought recently due to there was no more cash to be made on that day from me. To keep long time customers coming in, service is the most important thing. There are many store out there who want businesses. I do not think I will come back. read more

This is the first time I have ever written a review on Yelp. A.K.A. I am extremely frustrated with this store/company. I must admit, I am not sure if my issue was caused by the store, the staff, or the company. Here is what has happened and how their customer service has handled. I purchased a pair of sunglasses in the store on May 7, 2018 for $211.35. On June 26, 2018 (almost two months later) I noticed that I had a new debit on my checking account for $211.35. They double charged me. I submitted a formal complain on June 29, 2018. I have received two automated responses saying that they would respond in 3 business days or less. It has now been 10 business days and still no response, let alone a resolution. Will they do what is right and refund me the $211.35? Will they give me interest on this loan that I apparently made to them for the past two weeks? Will they even respond? Who knows. Their products and staff are good and friendly. Outside of this billing issue, I have no quarrels. But I would recommend paying in cash if you do shop here. read more

We went to this location on a Friday 4/16/21, which stated it was open until 9PM, however it was closed when we arrived at 8PM. We came back the next day only to arrive to a line where we waited for over 15 min. The staff was doing a horrible job managing the flow of people. When I asked The staff member Joseph how long the wait would be he proceed to bark orders to wait behind the door. This location has unequipped workers, who have poor customer service skills. Please don't support this store. After you purchase your glasses, don't expect any customer service. I had purchased two sun glasses back in March for over $ 600 at this store. I went to the store today to tighten the screws on the frame. First, the girl seemed annoyed after I asked her nicely if she could please tighten the screws on my glasses. She did not talk to me, simply took my glasses and continued her conversation with the other sales person. Then she tried various screwdrivers to tighten the screws without success. She told me to drive to Lanscrafters, another store in Pasadena to get them tightened there. I told her that I don't want to go to another companies store to asked them to help me with glasses I had not purchased there. Looking annoyed, she said that she does not have the right screw driver. I asked if she could get the screwdriver from Gucci. She said "no" but that I can call Gucci and ask for the screwdriver. I could not believe this response and asked to speak with her manager. I was told that there is not manager but the other sales person is the Assistant Manager, Jacob Hernandez. I told the Assistant Manager that I felt I bought such expensive sun glasses at this store and I was promised to receive help if there would ever be something wrong with them. He only said: "We can't help you. Good buy". Oh, this just does not feel good. So, I asked for his manager. He said he does not have one. So I ask who he reports to and he replies "she is on vacation". After back and forth. He said he only has her E-mail address Michellemoyer@luxotticaretail.com. This whole experience was horrible for me on a Sunday morning. When I bought those expensive glasses a couple month ago, I was promised exceptional customer service. Now, just asking to tighten the screws on the frame, I was treated so baldly and felt really bad leaving the store. I had the most wonderful experience at this store today. My Coach sunglasses that I absolutely love dropped and came apart. I got them as a gift in August from my boyfriend. Terrible service. I've had plenty of good experiences with Sunglass Hut as a company but the service I received at this location today really turned me off. I was browsing, looking to replace a pair that was stolen from my car earlier this week and I wanted to find the same pair. I found them, but the lenses weren't polarized like my last ones. I asked the clerk, a young guy looking to be about 30, whether they carried the pair I was looking for with the polarized lenses and without missing a beat he said "they don't make those." I was pretty taken aback not only because I know they do in fact make them, but because he was so unwilling to help me, he would rather lie to me. He wasn't busy, as my brother and I were the only customers in the store at the time. We looked at each other and left. We decided to make the trip to the Ray Bans store in Glendale instead. read more
