Every year, I'd get my eye exam elsewhere, uploaded my prescription and placed my order with Warby. I have ordered contacts from Warby back in 2020/2021 and the subsequent years just glasses from them because it was faster to get my contacts directly from my optometrist. I've been very pleased with their glasses. However, this year I decided to have my eye exam with Warby (Pasadena location). It was a huge mistake. Prior to the exam, the technician gathered basic information and then took digital retinal images (six total). Then I had my eye exam with the doctor. The retinal images were not reviewed or discussed during the exam and I forgot to ask about them. That's not how it should be done. At all of previous eye exams, my optometrist always review the retinal images with me regarding my eye health. Anyways, the doctor said my vision hasn't changed so my prescription will be the same. So they checked me out and I placed my contacts order too. A few days later the contacts arrived and that's when I discovered the contacts don't match my current prescription (expired January 2026). Instead, they match the prescription from 2020/2021. The new contacts I received is based off of a prescription from 2020/2021. Warby only has my contacts prescription from 2020/2021, which I had uploaded back then to order contacts. Since then the newer prescriptions that they have on record are for glasses only. It appears that from this eye exam with Warby, they simply created a new prescription based off of my 2020/2021 prescription. All the numbers (lens power, etc.) are identical. Warby gave me an old and wrong prescription and the imaging was never even discussed and refusing to issue a refund. read more

The base price is very reasonable compared to my eye doctor, but a lot of the frames have too much of a cat-eye effect which doesn't fit my face so well. I made my appointment online for the optometrist and found the check in procedure very streamlined when I arrived. They wiped down each piece of equipment after I used it where it made contact with my face, so everything seemed hygienic, though there was some dust through the office (-1 star). The selection of frames was fairly stylish and the associated Athenas was very helpful in finding a good fit. The frames and lenses are budget-friendly (don't expect high end flex titanium or hingeless designs). They provide transitional and other standard lens coatings for a good price. Do note that they do laser mark your lenses, so that might be an issue with some people who think the letter is a smear. read more

Warby Parker is okay but there wasn't that much selection for kid's frames and they felt much cheaper than the ones at our local optical store. Tried on everything but they all seemed a bit small for a fourth grader. Next size up was too big! The people who worked here noticed us and brought us boxes of kid's glasses. They just didn't have much and we left empty handed. Ended up using our insurance to get nice frames at Glendale Optometric but it would've been nice to pick up a second pair here. My husband and I visited this Warby Parker today (March 22, 2026) at about 6:15 PM because we each needed new glasses. There were three employees on the floor (two women and one man) and several customers when we arrived. Within a few minutes, the store cleared out and we were the only customers left. We browsed both walls, picked out frames, and literally had glasses in our hands. Not once did any of the employees acknowledge us, offer help, or even check in. All three stood at the counter chatting with each other. Then another woman walked in. Immediately, the male employee approached her and asked if she needed help. After being ignored the entire time we were in the store, the contrast was impossible to miss. We both were standing right there with frames in hand, ready to buy. Being overlooked so blatantly was frustrating and honestly disappointing. I turned to him and said, "I'm done, let's go." As we walked out, he approached the counter and said, "No, we don't need any help. Thank you." We left and will be taking our business elsewhere. We came in prepared to purchase two pairs of glasses, but the lack of basic acknowledgment made it clear our business wasn't valued here. read more

Hi! The lady who helped me pick my frames was very friendly and helpful. New frames arrived to my home and I love them. However, the lenses inside the frames seem really cheap and about the same quality as my $15 blue light glasses from Amazon. They just seem really flimsy and plastic like against the frames. My main issue now, is the Pasadena store never submitted my claim to the insurance as they said they would. It is impossible to reach someone at the Pasadena store to inquire about this. When I call the main company line, the representatives also can't reach the store directly so there is no resolution until the store answers the inquiry they send over. Each person at customer service can't see the communication with the previous person that notated my account. It's a very big hassle trying to get my claim submitted to the insurance. I've never had an issue with a glasses company submitting my claim to the insurance until now. This is my first and last time using Warby Parker. Glasses feel as cheap as they cost and customer service line isn't very helpful as they are limited in what they're able to do. They don't even have direct communication with any of their stores. read more

Worst customer service! I'm a regular customer and made an appt paid for parking and they double booked appt. The people in store don't care and didn't offer to call customer service to fix this. I came to have my broken Haskell glasses right-handle get fix as well as checkout their new glasses. I was assisted by Ruben, a polite, competent and amiable WB staff. He fixed my glasses. This was the best experience I've ever had buying glasses. I've been to many Warby Parkers and this one stands leagues above them all. I wanted a frame color that was sold out in the warehouse but they had one left in the store. They really helped me out by ordering a pair to the store, swapping out the lenses into the frame I wanted, and mailed it to me. On top of that the optometrist, Christine Nguyen-Tran was amazing. I've never had someone work with me so patiently to get things exactly right. Walking around today with my new pair of glasses, I was so shocked at how sharp I could see so far away. I live in New York, but will definitely be timing my eye exams for when I'm in LA and can see Dr. Nguyen-Tran. She is that good. My wife purchased two prescription glasses and I purchased a pair of nonprescription sunglasses. The people there are professional, courteous and friendly and the selection is large though no designer frames which is why prices are low. Unfortunately we did return two of the three pairs. I returned my nonprescription sunglasses because I found a pair I like better across the street at Sunglass Hut and my wife couldn't get used to her second pair. This review is for Benny almost more than it is Warby Parker itself. Came in MLK afternoon haphazardly not expecting at all to fall in love with a pair of prescription glasses. Historically, I've never had a great experience looking for new frames as the amount of choice overwhelms me. Luckily for me, Benny came in and right out the bat recommended a set of absolute beauts of wire framed glasses - Giffords, Hale, and Keiko - all while easing my concerns about the frame width and arm length being adequate enough for my big noggin. Ultimately decided on the Keikos wide as well as the Cooper prescription sunglasses. Again, never had a set of prescription sunglasses but Benny did such a great job at eliminating the amount of choice and steering me towards what frames / lenses I felt absolutely great in. She was so patient with all the questions I had, & was very attentive without being pushy. My daughter was being kind of hyper as her attention span was likely decreasing due to my indecisiveness. Buyer Beware! I fell and lost a lens from my glasses. I ordered replacements on line. I heard nothing. I went into a store and was told they had not filled the order because they did not have my prescription. The sales person noted that my prescription was and had always been on file. A week later I was notified my frames were no longer available. At this point I had been trying to replace my glasses for a month. I took my surviving frames into Pasadena Ca Warby Parker and was told they could replace the lens in the existing frame in 10-14 days which they confirmed in an email. That e mail said I would be notified when the frames were received and when the replacement shipped. That was September 19,2025. It is now October 9 and I have heard nothing. I contacted Warby Parker by phone and was advised by an associate at first that my glasses were completed and would be shipped by courier.Then I was put on hold for 2-3 minutes at which point I was advised that due to Warby Parker's lab issues I would not receive my glasses until the end of November!! Not exactly the 10-14 days Warby Parker promised me when I paid them $500 for a replacement lens. A conversation with a " Supervisor", (but who knows?) ensued and I have now been given the date of October 20. I will believe it when I see it! I have used this company numerous times before, but I won't be using them again. There has been no communication of any issues instead I have been just left in the dark. The errors have all been Warby Parker's, I have been offered no compensation. During this time I have needed to travel, and I have had to do so without a spare pair of glasses. I cannot see, read, or drive without my glasses and so always having a spare pair is essential to me! Do not deal with this company. All terms of business are written in their favor, and they do not abide by them. read more

*** Covid 19 *** Well after about 10 years since my last eye exam - my luck had run out and due to my old age I needed glasses. After my exam at a different location I brought my Rx here to fill. Did my research and the price point was good. I parked in the structure in the back - which gives you the first 90 mins free. Walked in and I was greeted by a female employee and I explained that I need my Rx filled and I had an idea of what I wanted. So she showed me to the frames I wanted to try on, and after a few mins, I found the right pair and was ready to make my purchase. Just then another customer walked in and the employee that was helping me greeted them and told them someone would be with them. Customer tells the employee that she has a quick question - so the employee says she'll be right back after answering the other customers question and hands me back my Rx.........she never comes back. I actually had to wait til the other employees finished and then start all over again, She seriously just left me to help someone else. WHAT THE HECK!!!!!!!! Minus 2 stars.....and from now on I'm placing my order on their website. read more

The store was spacious, clean and the selection of frames was excellent!! Prices are reasonable and won't break your bank account. The pair I liked was $95 and with progressive lenses and all other necessary prescription requirements, the total was $395.00 The young man that helped me ( Sean) was his name was very attentive and professional! Stopped in here to try on some frames after my home try on order got lost in the mail. I was pleasantly surprised that they had all of the styles I wanted to try in most of the colors I had originally planned on sampling! I was able to try on all of the original styles and more. The sales associate was super helpful too, she helped me better understand the pricing of the glasses and sunglasses and was able to find me a pair of sunglasses I wanted to try. One of the other associates also helped my partner get his glasses tightened since they had gotten a little loose since he originally purchased them a few years ago. Overall, it was a great in-store experience and I might forego any future home try-ons in favor of just popping in here next time. read more

Let me start by saying the staff are extremely friendly and helpful! They have a nice selection of frames and i had my eye exam there as well, which was a great experience. During the exam, the doctor told me that my prescription would be a good fit for contact lenses. I've never worn them before so we decided to order a trial set and they would contact me when they came in. Great! I'd forgotten all about that, but yesterday, a bit over 3 and half months later, i get a call saying that the trial pair were in the office and that i should come in and try them on and get trained and that it was part of the eye exam payment and that it would not cost me anything extra. I made the appointment and showed up where they promptly told me that it would be an extra $75 for the contact exam. I explained that i'm not here for an exam, but to try on lenses that were ordered and in stock. She went back and checked and still said i needed to pay...Either they didn't quite understand my situation or the lady who spoke to me yesterday got it wrong...either way, it was a bit of a waste of my time. No animosity toward the employees here, as they were extremely kind and polite. Just wish they had all their ducks in a row. read more

This Warby Parker is located in the same outdoor shopping mall as Postino. Although there is a parking lot, with a handful of businesses and eateries, parking can be limited. My husband, our little girl dog (love how Warby Parker is dog friendly) and I came by after grabbing some food and drinks at Postino. We came in on a Friday afternoon a little after 3 pm. Being Asian, it has been difficult finding the right pair of glasses that fit comfortable on my nose. Asian folks don't really have much of a nose bridge so glasses may slide off and need adjustment constantly. So I figured I would check out this company and see if they have anything for someone like me. When I came in, JR (one of the opticians working here) greeted me and asked me if he could help me. He directed me to a little area of no to low bridge eye glass frames. I ended up finding one that I really liked and so JR helped to me to purchase them and set me up in the system. He knew that I was visiting from Los Angeles and figured that I did not have my eye glass prescription on hand (who would? lol) and was able to help me contact my optometrist so that I could request my prescription and send it to them so that my eye glasses could be made. I requested that my glasses be mailed to my home because the glasses may not be made in time during the time I was still going to be visiting Houston. JR was helpful in answering my questions. He was friendly and I appreciated his help in trying to find the right pair of glasses for me. Although frames with nose pads would be best for someone like me with a lack of a nose bridge, I told him that I preferred plastic frames without them. He understood that and helped me as best as he could. Overall, love how easy and friendly my experience was with Warby Parker and can see why they are so well liked by the general public. read more

Decided to get glasses before the surge. Got my eyes checked elsewhere as part of my health plan. I started with their online mail try on at home service. It was fast and easy. Got 5 frames to try on no problem. Unfortunately with my low nose bridge, can't do any of the cute frames they sent. Went into the Pasadena store and it's great. Very clean and everyone observing COVID guidelines. Jackie served me and she was ultra friendly. I tried on a few pairs and got 2 with their 15% off offer. The glasses came in the mail in a week from New Jersey. I played with them for a couple of days and went into Pasadena store for free adjustment Leanne was excellent and she knows glasses. She helped me adjust my glasses just to fit me properly. Went home and wore my glasses for another week. One pair didn't fit me well due to wide temples, and I decided to exchange for another pair. Went from plastic to metal frame. Called the service line for an exchange. It was done in no time. Now waiting for new pair to come in the mail b4 returning the old one. While some frames are so-so quality, most are solid, well-made, and nicely-styled. Very cool frame choices! Adjustments are another story. You better hope your glasses fit perfectly on arrival, because your adjustment experience will vary wildly. To increase your chances, ask for the optician - otherwise you're playing even more roulette with a glasses-twisting rando behind the counter. 3 stars is a "your mileage may vary" rating. I was long overdue for an eye exam, so I decided to search for a location covered by my vision insurance. After finding Warby Parker through my insurance provider's website and reading positive reviews on Yelp, I chose to visit their nearby store. I knew it was in Old town so I prepared to find parking and walk around a bit. The Saturday hours make it convenient too. Upon arrival, I was greeted and checked in for my scheduled eye exam. However, I was surprised by the lack of assistance from the initial staff member who check me in while waiting. Emma was great she noticed me looking around and assisted me by providing a tray and showing me various frames.. The optometrist assistant , Andres conducted my initial assessment and was friendly and sincere, followed by a quick and efficient eye exam by Dr. Nguyen-Tran. I ended up selecting frames for myself and my son, as we both needed glasses. During the process, I had inquiries about pricing due to my insurance coverage, which was eventually resolved. Nevertheless, I was disheartened when a staff member assumed I used EyeMed, a state based insurance plan......I don't. This incident highlighted the importance of cultural sensitivity training for the employees, helping them recognize and address unconscious biases. While these situations can occur, it is crucial for staff members to be mindful of their perceptions and avoid making assumptions. I did have a good experience overall. A friend referred me to Warby Parker so my expectations were high. The actual experience blew that out of the water completely. Literally everyone I came in contact with were nice and professional. The lady who greeted me (didn't catch her name), Cat, Dr. Nguyen-Tran and Wesley were all extremely knowledgeable and efficient. I had an appointment and was in and out in about half an hour which included a thorough exam and time to ordered glasses. I was surprised that it was only half an hour when I checked my watch because I didn't feel rushed at all. In fact, Dr. Nguyen-Tran seemed more thorough than other optometrists I have had. They have a decent selection of glasses and the prices were phenomenal so I ordered an additional pair. Easy parking on the street. I expect to receive the glasses in a week through the mail which will save me a trip. Overall, I can't think of anything that could have made this a better experience. read more

I had an appointment today to get my glasses adjusted, although they sent me a couple of reminders about it, when I got to the store I found a sign saying they closed earlier.
