Tall worker named andres was very helpful! 10/10 customer service . Got my desired frames!

I was long overdue for an eye exam, so I decided to search for a location covered by my vision insurance. After finding Warby Parker through my insurance provider's website and reading positive reviews on Yelp, I chose to visit their nearby store. I knew it was in Old town so I prepared to find parking and walk around a bit. The Saturday hours make it convenient too. Upon arrival, I was greeted and checked in for my scheduled eye exam. However, I was surprised by the lack of assistance from the initial staff member who check me in while waiting. Emma was great she noticed me looking around and assisted me by providing a tray and showing me various frames.. The optometrist assistant , Andres conducted my initial assessment and was friendly and sincere, followed by a quick and efficient eye exam by Dr. Nguyen-Tran. I ended up selecting frames for myself and my son, as we both needed glasses. During the process, I had inquiries about pricing due to my insurance coverage, which was eventually resolved. Nevertheless, I was disheartened when a staff member assumed I used EyeMed, a state based insurance plan......I don't. This incident highlighted the importance of cultural sensitivity training for the employees, helping them recognize and address unconscious biases. While these situations can occur, it is crucial for staff members to be mindful of their perceptions and avoid making assumptions. I did have a good experience overall. Shout out to Emma, Andres and Dr Nguyen-Tran! read more

A friend referred me to Warby Parker so my expectations were high. The actual experience blew that out of the water completely. Literally everyone I came in contact with were nice and professional. The lady who greeted me (didn't catch her name), Cat, Dr. Nguyen-Tran and Wesley were all extremely knowledgeable and efficient. I had an appointment and was in and out in about half an hour which included a thorough exam and time to ordered glasses. I was surprised that it was only half an hour when I checked my watch because I didn't feel rushed at all. In fact, Dr. Nguyen-Tran seemed more thorough than other optometrists I have had. They have a decent selection of glasses and the prices were phenomenal so I ordered an additional pair. Easy parking on the street. I expect to receive the glasses in a week through the mail which will save me a trip. Overall, I can't think of anything that could have made this a better experience. read more

Big shout out to Emma for helping me pick out a super cute pair of glasses! She helped me find a pair that sat comfortably on my face. There's tons of good options but she was able to narrow it down to just a few. read more

I instantly feel in love with Warby Parker after I found many other optical shops too expensive and overwhelming with frame selection. Warby keeps things simple and classic. I got three pairs (one prescription, one for sun, and one for fun) all of my glasses block blue light which helps me combat my dry eye. I definitely will come back read more

Had a great, quick, and easy experience at the Colorado location. I had ordered a try at home box but wasn't happy with any of the frames so decided to come in and try some more styles. As I was browsing I was greeted by some very helpful staff members who pointed me to a style they thought would suit my face and features and I swear my face instantly lit up when I tried them on! They were absolutely perfect and I would have been trying on frames forever being indecisive without their help! I settled on the Yardley blue marble and the process to place the order was so quick and easy. I simply gave them the name of my optometrist, ran my card, and went next door to have sushi cos that was it! I'm still waiting for my glasses to arrive in the mail but as far as service and staff they were so awesome and I'll definitely be back for some shades. read more

Reuben took great care of me! I showed Reuben a picture of a frame I liked and he found 5 frames in the sexy blue I knew I needed to look like a movie star. I was able to make a choice in under 10 minutes. He offered poly carbonate, scratch resistant lenses and the cost was less than lunch! Reuben always had a smile on his face. He was delightful and was a great brand representative. I'm hoping to see soon while also looking like the celeb this Queen is! read more

Went there last week with my girlfriend to get her glasses fixed, Jackie was so helpful and did it for free and she got a pair of new amazing glasses! Thank you Jackie! read more

Logan was patient and kind. He helped me and my friend go through several frames until we found the perfect ones. He explained everything perfectly and was very attentive. Trenton (the manager) extended the same service. 100% recommend Warby Parker, specifically in Pasadena! read more

I arrived 30 minutes before my appointment so took the time to shop. Emma greeted me, checked the schedule and explained another customer was in the queue before me. I appreciated the heads up. Wesley patiently helped me identify which four pairs worked best for me. Super efficient. Dr. Tran is simply the very best! She patiently explained each step of my eye exam. When I explained I didn't 'need' a prescription for reading glasses (I use over-the-counter ones), she showed me the difference. WOW. Never pushing, only suggesting... I bought my f!rst pair of reading glasses! Friendly professional service. Reasonable prices. Satisfied customer. THANKS! read more

Very friendly and helpful staff, along with a great selection of frames. They even adjusted my old pair of glasses while I was waiting for my new ones to be delivered. read more

The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. I also came in for questions and eyeglass adjustments and Leanh took care of me! She went above and beyond in asking all of my questions and was very helpful. Can't wait to come back next time! Thank you Leanh and Warby Parker staff! read more

My eye doctor stopped selling glasses and I had to find a new place to buy glasses which was nerve wrecking. This place has Great selection and you can try the glasses on. The glasses are reasonably price. Can get really busy on weekends but overall not bad. read more

I needed an exam and some frames (I went with the Roosevelt style, regular width, black matte finish. Think Weezer). I also did NOT want to contribute to the de facto monopoly that is Luxottica (they own 80% of the world eyeglass market in one form or another). Dr Hua was really nice, and Alina was also very nice helping me with the frames. $105 for an exam and $195 for frames, lenses, and all options (single prescription)? Can't beat it! For best parking, take that side street near the store (S. De Lacy) to the parking garage which is free for the first 90 minutes. Did I mention that Dr. Hua is really nice? ;) read more

Customer service shout-out to here to Athenis (Afenis? Hard to hear behind the masks! Young lady, long brown curly hair) -- I was cruising around Old Town and the screws on my non-Warby Parker sunglasses were loose and one of the arms literally fell off. I happened to pass by and so went in and asked her if they had a repair kit I could purchase; she said no, but worked on them for a few minutes and repaired them for me as a simple courtesy. Good as new. What a kind soul! read more

Unbelievable! Not $99! Do not believe it. Any progressives are more than $400 and you have to make your own claims for insurance. Pompous millennial thought he knew what he was doing. But no... He entered my prescription information wrong in his haste. My first order wrong. It's THREE weeks later and I have no glasses. To the tune of over $400! People by phone "try" to help but nothing comes of it except micro refunds while I wait. Really disappointed. They run it like a tech company and support is behind the smoke and mirrors of a call center. No humans in person help you in person once you give them the bucks! They scatter and no one takes responsibility. What a diversion tactic on price. Ugh. Nice designs but awful, awful service for the price. I will be Reporting to CA department that regulates eye care and price verification. read more

I've been a Warby Parker customer for the past 5 years. Finally, a closer and bigger location has opened closer to me. The customer service here is super friendly and top notch. They fixed my crooked glasses within minutes (something the Arts District location failed to do). read more

i never leave reviews but i have to say that dustin and wesley are the best!! thank you for everything! best warby parker location

I really love this location, especially the optician Alina. She was remarkably helpful to me on my several visits, and remembered key details about our conversation from my first visit and really made me feel welcome. I am always happy to go back and see her. I was also extremely pleased with the in-house eye doctor, Jaime Chen, and her staff. She was great and took time to explain my astigmatism to me. I referred my girlfriend to her, who has been so thrilled with how many contact lensamples she received in order to make sure they get the right fit for her. I will keep coming back to this WP and am thrilled I discovered it! Excellent service. read more

The customer service is always lacking for me. they are 2/2 for horrible service. I asked questions about a certain frame for kids and the young sales rep had an attitude. Kept hovering over me like I was going to run with the frames or something. My 5 year old and i felt rushed to try on frames because she was hovering that much. Instead of asking her to give us space i just decided to leave. I get bad vibes whenever I come to this store. I went to the warby parker Glendale and the sales rep where much friendlier towards my daughter and I. They where very helpful and i would recommend that store over this one. read more

How did I never hear about these guys before!!!! Amazing. All the glasses are like $99 and includes the lenses. They have super hip cool frames too. I'll never buy anywhere else. read more

Updating previous review...Warby Parker emailed me back to say they will replace my warped lenses from 2 years ago! Amazing,

Excellent customer service. Went in looking for a hard case...the standard RayBan case would hardly protect my glasses when tossed into my backpack. Hooked me up with a hard case. read more

This is the second time I've ordered glasses through Warby Parker waited about two weeks for the prescription to be filled and the glasses to arrive and then trying them on to find that it's the wrong prescription. It happened before and it was a fiasco then it happened again this time around I ordered progressives and waited for two weeks and they showed up as just regular glasses. It was a $500 total deal $150 for the frames, $ 350 for the lenses .I had to wait longer than I expected, now I have to repackage the glasses. wait for their Return stickers , have to take it to the post office and then wait wait wait wait. a huge time waster having to return all these glasses due to their ineptitude. Not a single apology from their phone line customer service for this fiasco . **Also the Asian woman guarding the front entry at the Pasadena store is rude and has no customer service skills . She's brusk to people wanting to shop inside and setting up appointments , she should be very friendly to customers , instead of making shoppers feel like they're the enemy for just wanting to browse the merchandise. This was an overall awful experience at this store ! **Spend a little more $$ and get your glasses ASAP at lens crafters or any other legit purveyor of glasses. Warby Parker has clever marketing to make it seem like they're offering cool goods at a great price . Well it actually is not that inexpensive . despite weeks of waiting just to get the wrong prescription glasses is pathetic! for all their overblown hype ,, read more

Same issues as A.J.'s review. Made an appointment online after double-checking online to see they were open. Walked 30 minutes (air quality 164 today - "unhealthy") to my appointment. Handwritten sign in the window that they'd "closed early today". I help run a business and if I saw that customers were booking appointments online when we weren't open for whatever reason, I'd have the common sense and courtesy to call those customers and explain the extenuating circumstances. Times are tough but competent management helps staff and clientele through them. Consider hiring a new MGMT team. read more

After not receiving my frames on time that I had dropped off at the Pasadena location, which already worried me, I receive an email that stated "your frames unexpectedly broke during the lens replacement process" WHAT?!?!?! I've been wearing glasses for 20 years and not once have I broken my frames before. Knowing how popular these frames were and how quickly they went out of stock I believe that someone took them. We responded to the email asking for proof of the broken frames because finding these specific frames was a VERY LONG process, the story is way too long to write out. And now they're gone because someone didn't know how to do their job correctly??? Of course we don't get a response to the email, so we called and just got dismissed with a bunch of apologies. If I knew that Warby Parker was this untrustworthy I would have taken my frames somewhere else. So long Calder frames that I adored oh so much. read more

Some of my friends recommended I try Eye Buy Direct. I was looking for RX sunglasses and RX clear frames. Eye Buy Direct is significantly cheaper than WP but for me, the glasses I ordered did not fit at all. They were both too big. When learned how to measure glasses and look for something in my size, I couldn't find anything. They also only have a one-time replacement deal so if you plan on exchanging, your next pair better be perfect. Some other friends recommended WP. I saw there was a store in Pasadena (near me) and for me, it just made more sense to go with them. They are pricier than Eye Buy Direct but much cheaper than all the jacked up glasses your optometrist is trying to scam you into buying. I have a low bridge and I wear fake lashes so it was important I go to a physical location where I could physically try on glasses to determine fit and style. The customer service is great and they have a variety of really cute styles. When I first came in, it only took me a few minutes to find the clear frames I wanted. They fit much better than the ones from Eye Buy Direct, but still weren't perfect. The employee helping me said to come back once I receive them so they can adjust the frame and add nose pads. I opted to not get RX sunglasses at this time. After receiving the glasses, I went back for adjustment. I also decided I wanted RX sunglasses. Keep in mind these are about $100 more on top of their base rate of $95. I got really excellent service from Joe and the manager/optician whose name I did not catch. They told me about the low bridge section and that the frames I got just came out with a low bridge model (literally two weeks ago which was when I came into the store and which was why the employee at that time was unable to recommend them to me because they did not exist). The optician also looked up nose pads on Amazon for me, showed me what they look like and the cost, and noted that these can add more lift and keep your glasses from slipping, so I'll probably be trying those as well. She and Joe said they are sturdy but come off when you need them to with a bit of rubbing alcohol. Joe helped me pick out some sunglasses. He explained the difference between gradient, brown, and grey. I was torn between gradient and grey but also told them that my eyes are very sensitive to sunlight and that I go to the dog beach a lot in the summer time. They both stated I should go with grey because it is the darkest with the best sun protection. It was very helpful. Overall great experience. Combined price still cheaper than the one pair I got from my optometrist using old frames. Don't let your optometrist's office trick you into all the extra nonsense like transition lenses and blue light blocking lenses etc. I got transition lenses and all they do is turn a light grey in sunlight. And, when I am in the car, they do not turn grey at all because the windshield blocks the UV light which is necessary to trigger the transition. I was told it could be like sunglasses but its nothing like that so avoid that BS. Always ask for your RX and your PD, and then take that to WP! read more

May 39 I drove 45 mins to warby excited to visit them in person verses online. I did my pupil measurements and paid for reading glasses. I had to send them my prescription which I did that following evening. Glasses arrive as they said 6-7 days. Prescription was wrong. I could read the computer. So on June 11 I drove back up there they confirmed someone mixed up the prescription. Said they would expedite the glasses. Today 6/18 marks a week so I called and they told me the order was just sitting there no one out in the pupil measurements, what if I never called. She said human error was made. She offered me $15 credit. I mean this is the second human error. You must have a trail and error process. I guess that responsibility is on me to follow up. read more

I've read enough positive reviews to want to give Warby Parker a try. Luckily, last week I lost my glasses and needed a new pair on the quickness so I made an appointment online to visit the Pasadena location. First things first when I walked in I felt safe. There is a sanitation station near the entrance. Employees wear masks and gloves. There's a one way loop that guilds you through the store where you can distance and shop at the same time. ALINA was the person who helped me and she was knowledgeable about glasses and gave me great recommendations. She was polite, professional and also personable. Everything you want from a customer standpoint. Overall great experience! read more

Went in this morning at 10:15 and 2 employees were helping 2 people. Meanwhile I tried on glasses so I can decide which one I wanted. I asked the guy for alcohol wipes so I can clean the glasses I tried on. They obviously knew I was next. As soon as the employee was done with his customer that didn't buy anything. A woman walked in and he helped her right away. He never asked how I was doing if I needed help. By that time I decided what glasses I wanted. I'm not sure if he's racial profiling or he thought I wasn't ready. I've never experienced this with Warby Parker. Everyone has always been friendly and helpful. I'll just be ordering my glasses online. read more

Great store. Wonderful buying experience! Anthony Marquez answered all my questions provided me excellent professional service.

Amazing store front in Old Town. WP sits in a historical landmark with beautiful interiors and a mural designed by graphic artist, Rafael Lopez. The staff here is beyond accommodating and make you feel welcomed. I've been in a handful of times to adjust previous WP frames and even left with a new pair on my most recent visit (Gilbert is super stylish). They have classic and modern frames at a very reasonable price. They also accept most insurances, so make sure to inquire when you visit. The whole process is super quick and easy, and I've usually picked up my new frames in-store, which takes less than a week. Dustin and Joseph usually greet me when I check-in. Being that Old Town is very community driven, I love that they remember me! Alina and Vanessa have been there to help me when I need re-adjustments. They are literally life savers! Have I mentioned that the staff here is amazing?! They always go over and beyond to make sure you're always happy and satisfied. HIGHLY recommend! read more
