The mail carrier returned all our mail without giving us a chance to retrieve it at the post office.

Sticking to the facts: 1) The mail carrier bent a tube marked "fragile" to fit it into a mailbox instead of bringing it to the door or leaving a notice for pickup at the post office. This action destroyed the contents inside. 2) I did not check my mailbox for about five days. The mail carrier chose to return all my mail to the sender and left a handwritten note indicating that he had done so. He did not give us the opportunity to pick it up at the post office, as policy requires. The carrier misled his superiors, claiming he had given us the time to retrieve it at the post office. 3) I was sent an expensive package that did not arrive, even though tracking stated it had been delivered. It was placed neatly at my doorstep three months later. 4) After moving away from San Marcos, I requested that my mail be forwarded. However, I have not received a single piece of forwarded mail since the request was made. ---------------- I have never encountered such difficulties with my mail in any other city where I have lived. The blatant disrespect, lack of professionalism, and carelessness I experienced from this post office were horrible. I'm happy I never have to see any of them again!

Good location with ample parking. Lines go by quickly. If customer service was a bit better, they would get 5 stars.

First- always short staffed. Second- sat there and watched the one kid working the week before Christmas. Only 1 person. Line was 6 people deep. I was helped by a staff member named Noah, who was extremely rude and unprofessional. He was yawning in our faces, purposely taking his time, and even killing gnats with his bare hands while helping us--without washing his hands afterward. The entire interaction was slow, uncomfortable, and showed zero customer service. What makes this worse is that the young man working with him on Saturday overheard what was happening and defended Noah by saying he was "just having a bad day." After reading the reviews, it's clear this isn't a one-time situation--he seems to have a "bad day" every day. In the days after this incident, I went to two other places and mentioned my experience, and both had already heard about the issues at this UPS Store. If customers are leaving bad reviews and other businesses in the area are hearing about the poor service, why hasn't the manager or owner stepped in to fix this? A couple of days before my visit, I also called the store about notary services. The girl who answered the phone picked up like it was a personal call and then hung up on me--I had to call back. This location desperately needs better management and attention, because at this point the customer service problems are well-known and ongoing.
