This was my first time visiting this USPS location, and I was genuinely shocked by how I was treated. I politely asked for assistance, and instead of being helped, the employee was extremely rude and hostile. While I was trying to find information, she harassed me, spoke to me aggressively, and acted as though I was an inconvenience simply for being present. To make matters worse, she got on her cell phone and was cursing and speaking negatively about the customers that she encounters, which was completely unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable. At one point, she told me I needed to "hurry up" because "you have literally 5 minutes before I go to lunch," as if her schedule mattered more than providing basic customer service. I asked for her name, and she said it was Michelle, but by that point her behavior had made me feel so uneasy that I couldn't trust her with my package--or even trust that she was being truthful. I took a photo and informed her that I did not feel comfortable mailing my package there and would be taking my business elsewhere. She didn't stop there she continued to harass me until I was outside the building. No customer should be treated this way, especially when they are being polite and asking for help. This experience was disrespectful, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable for a federal service facility. I will never return to this location, and I strongly caution others unless serious changes are made. read more

I love this post office. The staff is always so nice and they appear to be happy with their jobs. It's a gorgeous old building, which means it has good ambiance. However, that means there is no AC. I always feel so bad for them during a heat wave. Getting in and out of here with a stroller is damn near impossible, but just don't go when you're on baby duty. There's another post office on Brooks St like 1 mile away, maybe less. The building isn't as pretty as this one and it's not as nice of a walk but it's across from a pleasant park. read more

Visited this USPS location which is now our favorite in Oceanside! The minute we walked in Amber acknowledged us with an warm friendly smile and asked if we needed any help - oh boy did we! :-) Amber helped us with choosing the right priority ship box, packing tape label. Going to the USPS store can sometime be tedious, but thanks to Amber who was so sweet and helpful when I came in to get stamps for my wedding invitations. She and her coworker were absolutely wonderful, making this one of the best experiences I've had. The building was spotless and the wait time was super short. 10/10! read more

A beautiful historic Post office building . I will never go back there anymore .One of employees there she needs to stop rushing the customers and stop with attitude with the customer if she doesn't like them. Plus when she is gives back the receipt and the money make sure she lads the money down so you can see it and do count your money in front of her, So she don't give you the incorrect change . Plus if you walk away from her station and find out that she gave you the incorrect change you will not be able to get that money back, I try to get my money back with some help but ( No Luck). Everyone here is always so nice and it's an easy in and out place, usually not busy. But there's once chick, who's probably named Michelle, her name tag was half covered, but she was rushing me so hard, even though i was the only customer. I didn't even reach the counter before she stated "you need a return address". Like damn gimme a sec to put my shit down. (I had to buy an envelope there) she rushed me though the transaction, passed verification questions, didn't give me a chance to ask a question, and then at the end was so smiley and sweet with a bullshit tone. She's the only one with a negative attitude there. Why do people have to be like that? read more

It's so nice to have a local post office right around the corner! I mostly use the drive up mailboxes but if you need to do some shipping or buy stamps, the counter service is convenient as well. Like any service business, they are going to be busier at lunch time and Saturdays. The staff is friendly and helpful and the times I've visited, the line moves quickly. read more

I was ready to send flowers to the staff at Seagaze Post Office.. I have had such wonderful service in the past. The last two times dealing with a young female employee, have been a disaster. This post office is a hit or miss really. I have come here with no line, great service and was out quickly and then I have come here to a long line, horrible service, just not helpful and only one person helping customers. I can't stand when they have plenty of staff and you see several people there just not willing to open up another register even with a line. While this location is convinient, the post office in general is just usually a pain to deal with. read more

This is a Landmark building of Oceanside, built and dedicated in 1935, I have been using the First Street Station U.S. Post Office as my post office for over 12 years, I have a P.O.Box here, I have never had any problems, getting my mail or packages, I buy my specialty stamps here, the people at the counter are friendly and helpful, I remember leaving my key in my box, didn't notice for a few days, thought I lost it, when I went to get another, they had it waiting for me, nice. People make fun about the US Postal service, not me, I think they do a great job, think Benjamin Franklin would be proud ! read more

First and only time I've been here was to drop off a letter. I missed the pick up time and went inside to ask if they thought it would arrive when I hoped it would. They said probably and it ended up arriving a day late, but that's not their fault. I was the only person in the place, so no wait and the lady was very helpful. I had only put one stamp on and that was .12 cents short so it would have come back to me and never arrived if I hadn't gone inside. Clean, efficient, 5 stars. read more

Horrible service with - calculating postage, getting things out on time & getting things delivered. I sent out 7 greeting cards (some with small gifts inside) & they took over 2 weeks to arrive to family & a couple never made it. WTH? I used to love this place, but that was 20 years ago. I love this post office. Seems like a lot of people don't know about this location, and I'm glad I finally found it. Usually not busy, and the clerks are friendly, knowledgeable, and amazingly helpful. For some reason they also have a better selection of shipping boxes than the larger post office nearby. Just have to ask. read more
