But, it seems as if the kiosk is down more than it's up. I came in one day when the internet was down. Instead of signs and/or announcements indicating they could not do anything but sell you stamps, take prepaid packages and mail, they allowed people to stand in a long line, only to get up to the front and stare at you without saying anything for an awkward moment. Then TRENT told me with a snippy voice, "our internet is down. You have to go somewhere else." I didn't say anything this day. Then today I come in. Ugh, TRENT is there again. Darn the kiosk is down AGAIN! Luckily only one person in line ahead of me. That person only spoke Spanish and Trent spoke only a tad. After a few minutes, they ended up understanding what each other wanted. I am up next. I did notice a lady over at the small round table to the left and not part of the line you stand in to get service. She's taking items from a bag and putting them in a mailer. She finishes right around the time TRENT finishes with the male customer. After he walks away, Trent says "Who's next?" I said I was and walked up. Once again he just stares at me for an awkward moment and says, "Your next?" I said, "Yes, she was over there packing up her stuff the whole time I have been standing in line." He says, "She's next. If I call you and tell you, you are next, then you are next." Funny, he didn't tell the guy who had just been arrested in the line ahead of me he was next. He just walked up. I step back and get in line and the girl all smug walks up. I say out loud (only the three of us are there at this time). "OK, remind me to come to the post office next time and pack all my stuff and then just come to the front of the line." TRENT then says, "Well if you don't like it, you should go to another post office." I said, "I should have, as every time I come here and you are here..you have been rude (not just to me either). So, when it's my turn once again, I ask for his supervisors name. Then I ask if he's there and he tells me he's on vacation. So I ask for his number to contact him later. He leaves and comes back with a phone number, for Randi. I leave and try calling it and it's busy, stays busy for sometime before I think, did he give me a bogus number or take the phone off the hook so I couldn't leave a message? Moral of the story, if you walk in this unreliable post office and see TRENT. Go to another nearby location.

There is also an automated USPS Kiosk available, that is well stocked with preprinted mailing containers and envelopes. The office also has greeting cards and mailing supplies. For US Passport service, appointments are recommended. Lots of parking. Parking lot has drive up mailboxes. Exit is right turn only onto N Twin Oaks Valley Road.

The ladies working in the front and have for years are beyond helpful and work hard long hours! I appreciate them when I need to stand in line, but for the past couple years I've been fortunate to handle postage from my home and just drive over to drop off packages in the lobby inside the drop box next to the self-serve machine. OUCH!!! Yesterday, 1.18 I entered the lobby to place a package in this drop box and while holding the handle down, placed my package and for some reason it snapped back and took a bite of my finger - LOL! Does this thing have a bad biting attitude!?! My finger was punctured and began bleeding profusely and turned almost black in that area. Thankfully I am OK, but it HURT horribly! I was trying not to bleed all over the place and noticed there was no staff around so I knocked on the blue door to the side, but no one came and I noticed there were only 1 staff member in front with a long-line waiting, so I just left quickly to my car and back home to take care of it with a band-aid. BE CAREFUL to not mess with this drop box, it has SHARP TEETH!!

If you are late by 1 minute, the door will be locked. I know because it's happened to me. I rushed straight from work just to get to a locked door. (!!!!!) When and if you get there during normal business hours, you have to knock or ring the bell on the horse stable split door. It's like it's a secret room or something. Then someone opens the half door and you show your pickup slip or other item and they go back into this huge warehouse sorting room to retrieve your package. You have to show photo ID to get your package. Pretty simple. Also noted in the barebones lobby are address change/moving packets (they have tons of coupons inside including a lowes 10% off coupon!), mail hold slips, and applications for passports.
