Accessibility: They have a small parking lot in the back of their building that is better than the street parking in front (on a busy road). There are wheelchair accessible parking spots in the back parking lot (behind the Massage place next door). The parking lot in back is all flat ground, with a single pull door for entry. Experience: they have good air conditioning inside; perfect for this summer heat. I came to do my fingerprint/livescan for a new job. It was fast and easy, no lines or waits. I was in and out within 10 minutes. read more

Very professional and highly recommended packaging company. Gave them an unprotected windshield and they built us a very strong and reinforced wooden crate for international shipping via air cargo. Got there safe and sound without any scratches. We will definitely use them again for our future shipping! read more

We were greeted as soon as we entered. Both employees were super nice! We met an Attorney here to use their Notary Services. They DO accept the 20% off Yelp Check-in ! Tyler is SO nice and helpful !! I didn't get the Cashier's name, but he was helpful, funny and friendly as well. The Attorney highly recommended That Place That Ships, due to their customer service and lower Notary pricing. We recommended ! read more

I ship everything from here for years love these guys thank you for providing this service

BEST PLACE TO SHIP! Perfect customer service. They will help you with a smile on their faces and don't change you for using their tape.

Good response, reliable & value.... Aren't even close to the incredible descriptors of this place!!!! Been a customer here since 2012... Struggled with Trumatic Brain Injury, or this review would've been done years ago!!!! After my injury my feet develop severe neuropathy I could not stand in one place for up to 10 minutes!!! The uncaring faceless mindless postal workers that would never help me even with my handicap pass and wheelchair, do any head of the line privileges including my local fellow citizens here in Escondido, Never assisted me in ahead of line privileges for the wheelchair to crutches to be the most knocked over to having package is dropped to have a no one help or assist me get my packages from the counter up to the front it became impossible my life FELT IMPOSSIBLE!! And the US post office was just one more glaring picture that my life was IVERWHELM read more

This place is great. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff, especially Tyler. If he isn't a store supervisor yet then he should be. They will help you with all of your needs from shipping to printing. It is always very quick service and they are open decent hours so you don't have to rush in after work. read more

Excellent service and responsiveness. Paul helped me get the best price possible to ship an expensive item cross-country for my move. When we had an insurance issue with my shipment, Paul put in countless hours to make sure it was taken care of appropriately. He stood by his promise to me and handled the issue himself. I can't say enough the customer service I received from him and his staff. Thanks again for all your help, Kyle. read more

I wish I saw the 20% off notary service check-in deal before I paid. Unfortunately for me I checked in after I paid. I found this place because my bank apparently does not notarize documents and so I went looking for somewhere that did. I saw somewhere that this place charges less than most places but actually it's the same from what I've found. $15... the CA regulated price for notaries. Which is crazy for 1 signature. But oh well. It was fast. I was in and out in minuttes. No wait. read more

I recently had to return a large microwave back to Best Buy. I didn't have all the original packing material, so I took the microwave and box it came in to That Place That Ships on Escondido Blvd. Mike told me the different options available, and I relied on his knowledge and expertise to choose which packing material to use to ship it safely. He was very pleasant and helpful. The store is clean and well stocked, and safety measures are in place and followed. I highly recommend you check them out! I read more

Such kind staff. I love this place. Always quick. Easy to park and so do not hesitate if thinking to use this place. read more

This place gets busy so sometimes the line is a bit long but that is usually because they are doing a good job taking care of people. They will pack and ship all your stuff. You can drop off your stuff and they will ship it via USPS, UPS or FedEx. They can also notarize documents and I use this service all the time. read more

I've done business here for 21 years and have shipped many a parcel with them. Great customer service here, and willingness to help me out with challenging shipping issues. I won't go anywhere else to ship my goods. I highly recommend their services, you'll be quite happy with how they take care of you. read more

The absolute worst service. Just moved to the area and needed some packing supplies. Google packaging supplies in Escondido, and found this place. Called and Daphne answered the phone. Asked if they had cellophane wrap and she says they use it to pack but don't sell any. Ok, then I ask if they have any 3" packing tape. She says she doesn't know and can't look right now. I ask if there is anyone who can help me and she says no. Wasn't any, can I call you back or have someone call you when they are free. Just had no interest in helping. What kind of packaging supplies do they have if they don't have wrap and not sure if they have tape? read more

This one of the most efficient mailing office I have used over the past 25 years. I have a mail box with them and they send me an email when packages or special mail arrives. We have an International sales company and they handle all of my needs from courier services to mail and packaging at a realistic prices. Saves me from having more employees. Several occasions the owner has personally taken charge and made a difficult job seem easy. WELL Done! Bill R. read more

Everyone here is awesome!!! Paul the new owner is always professional and knowledgeable as are all his staff

Terrible customer service. I called frustrated that a time sensitive package I paid for 2 day shipping still hasn't been delivered and it's been almost a week. The employee that picked up acted put out for having to do his job and gave tons of attitude. When he finally offered to be helpful he gave a little huff and promptly hung up the phone. If you want your packages undelivered and shitty employees giving you attitude, use The Place That Ships! read more

I always have an absolutely wonderful experience with this team -- everyone is so friendly and super helpful. Today Daphne at her positive attitude and let's go get stuff done approach help me package up my precious items to send to my family-- do you help me stay on budget and she has a contagious positive attitude. Excellent experience. I had been contemplating on getting a mailbox (here & other places) and as my online business grows that contemplation became a need. I called the store and spoke with the owner Paul. He was very helpful in giving me all the info I needed. He wasn't pushy and let me know exactly what size box I would need for my business. I decided to go with it and went into the store to get my mailbox set up. Paul wasn't in the store but I was helped by his staff that had already been made aware of my needs. Awesome! I'm very happy with my experience. read more

I have nothing but positive things to say about this business, the new ownership and all the employees! They treat me like family and I always feel confident that whatever I ship is in the right hands. We have tried other shipping places that are closer to our home that have marginal customer service, but now we drive the extra few miles to support a family owned business that are professional and do the job right, the first time. Give them a shot, if you haven't already. I'm a customer for life! read more

Excellent Service. Paul went above and beyond to help me with a difficult problem. I highly recommend.

I positively love this place. Excellent customer service and attentive helpful staff. Chad and Tyler are great. I had a mail box there two years. Chad called today to let me know I had a package. But was confused cuz I don't actually have mail box anymore. Seriously how awesome is that? ? Most places would have just sent it back. The package didn't have a box number so he didn't know it was supposed to go to my son's box. But still - after freaking years he still called to let me know. When my son walks in they have his package pulled from the back before he gets to the counter with his slip. (They use to do the same for me) They pay attention! ! If you want great service use That Place That Ships read more

Quick and easy. The owner mike is a real funny guy. The staff is friendly and the service was great.

In 2007 I wandered into Mailboxes and More because they were offering 6 months of free PO box service for fire victims. Of course I took them up on the offer! Since then, Mailboxes has been a lifesaver for me and my "other office". When I drive up to the store, the employees recognize my car and have my mail in hand as I arrive. How's that for customer service! Mike and his staff are amazing and are willing to accommodate anything I need. Mike has a heart of gold and has financially supported my non-profits Healthy Kids Choice and Candy Buy Back for years. He ships thousands of pounds of candy to our troops after Halloween to Operation Gratitude all at his own cost. I give Mailboxes and More and That Place That Ships 5 stars because they have earned every one of them over the past 7 years. Thanks for everything! read more

I went into this place not knowing how to ship 30lbs of film and video tapes. Mike, the store manager was more than polite in helping me get the correct packaging done and saved me a couple bucks. He even had one of the employees stop the FedEx truck from leaving just to get my package on the truck to make the delivery before the end of the week. I highly recommend this place. read more

Came for notary. Well not a good place to get a notary cus you have to wait till the clerk to his work. It doesn't matter who came first. Who just comes more often, got better service. Never coming back. read more

Very friendly crew working. Came in to get my documents notarized and was greeted right away. Unexpectedly got a discount by yelping 'notary' and came across this place which offered $5 notary! Any discount helps! Thanks! read more

As the first reviewer mentioned, the crew here is very friendly and helpful. We've had a box here for several years, and have received a number of freebies or discounts on their other services (notary, copies, etc.) for having that account. The location is very convenient, and the space is light, bright and clean. We're very happy customers! read more

This place must be popular but it was worth the wait. We needed a notary for a living trust and Tran helped us. She was the busiest person in the store. We had to wait to see her and the was a group behind us waiting for her. She was pleasant and professional! read more
