I have been using this location due to the convenience factor... until today. I received a call on 11/10/25 around 2:00 p.m. from Berlin, who works the counter at this location. Berlin's message was simply saying I have a package to be picked up. AT NO TIME DID SHE TELL ME IT HAD TO BE PICKED UP THAT DAY BY 5:00 P.M. As I was not available to call or pick up package within her time frame, I arrived at the store at 9:00 a.m. on 11/11/25 to pick up the package which were legal documents and a key required for a morning meeting on 11/12/25. When I arrived, I was told my package was returned to FEDEX since I did not pick up the package when they had called. Although the store is open until 6:00 p.m. I learned the package was returned at 5:00 p.m., so had stopped in the day they called, coming in after 5:00 p.m. the package would have ALREADY been returned. TOTAL INCOMPETENCE on Berlin's behalf. While I do not have a box there, Berlin should have had used common sense and inform me if I did not pick up the package by 5:00 p.m., it would be returned. But again, her voicemail simply said to pick up the package; they were opened until 6:00 p.m. Of course when I asked to speak with the manager, I was told Vera would not be in until later in the week. My number was left; it will be interesting to see if I receive a return call. Due to the lack of customer service and the incompetence of Berlin, I will again be using the other FEDEX location in Fallbrook located in the Major Market shopping center. I've used their services in the past with any issues and was always very satisfied. It's a bit farther, but it is worth the drive time to deal with someone who uses common sense. The closer proximity of the other location (In the same center as Northgate Market.) is NOT worth the incompetence. read more

So sad as I had been a fan since they opened =. Total incompetence . again very sad to report , I went to the shop to have some copies made and send off important documents to my CC company , Pre-addressed I inserted my copies and asked for the postage amount , I was told 2oz and a 97 cent stamp was affixed to my 9 x 12 envelope. When I was billed I was surprised to learn of a 53 cent surcharge for the convince stamp = Had that been disclosed I would not have purchased it there as my intention was to run it to the Post Office for a quick departure . I arrived at the Post Office and brought my parcel to the counter to obtain a receipt = The Postal Worker informed me that the envelope had insufficient postage and I need to pay a additional 80 cents due to the large envelope. I paid and sent my envelope off to the CC company I returned to Goin Postal and explained what had transpired = The person there said they needed to contact the manager (?) I said not only did you not disclose the surcharge at your place but you gave me the wrong amount for postage - The worker at the USPS counter said it would have been better than 50% chance the envelope would have been returned (which would have been a disaster) Having been in retail for a lifetime I know what I would have done - Admit the magnitude of your mistakes and make a honest attempt to satisfy the situation -- Instead I was told we can do nothing for some convoluted reason - NO BUENO Total incomparable / No supervision need to think twice before trusting them again ! read more

Before my experience here my husband and our daughter and her husband have used Goin' Postal. I have been here a handful of times and I have only experienced great customer service here. A couple of times that I have visited maybe one or two people seemed to be in training. The energy of one gal is vibrant. I do love that they acknowledge you as you walk in! Note: They no longer do passport photos. They have greeting cards and some small gift items. You will also find some office and mailing supplies here. Honestly, I hate the name. This is why I waited for so long to go in. I think it is in bad taste and just promotes the origin of a violent past. I also realized that there are a handful of these stores throughout California. Having said that, I had the best experience! These ladies and gentlemen took care of my needs in an effective way. I had to ship out a section of a Mercedes exhaust pipe complete with a muffler to a unique business located on the East Coast who rebuilds the Mercedes' parts to factory specs for an expensive diesel emissions system. The part measured five feet in length, 20 inches wide, and weighed at least 30 pounds. Aurelia and two other very helpful ladies at Fallbrooks yGoin' Postal on Misdion Ave looked at it and said "no problem, we will build a box for it and pack it right". And ooy, did they deliver!! And the price for this work was amazingly reasonable. I write a glowing review for this shop and very nice and helpful "can do" people there because I had just left the UPS store where, in great contrast to my experience here, discouraged any help in packing or shipping my item, it being too big and heavy for them to deal with. Each time they have been friendly, professional, prompt and done a great job with enthusiasm at a reasonable cost. They also make PDFs of the work I have done and email them to me in addition to the hard copies they make. I am always impressed with the way the owners of our local Goin' Postal treat every customer who walks through their door. Yesterday, I had a large, bulky package to leave for FED-X pick up. Without me asking, the owner off loaded some packages on their cart, and followed me out of the office to my car, parked in front. She brought the package in and then printed a receipt for me, just in case, since it was an item being returned for repair or replacement. If you want personal service, this is the place to bring all of your business. It's kinda rare these days, to find folks who still do business the old fashion way.
