I went in for a Live Scan and the process was very fast and easy, thanks to Leo and Isiah. I was helped right away and since it was no appointment, walk in only, this was a nice surprise. Taking me 2 years to write this as service was in June 2022, but they did a great job so I need to write this. I inherited a bunch of rugs which I needed to get sent up to Northern California. My daughter had the rugs in hand, but I didn't want to burden her with packing etc. I also had no clue how much all this might cost. I called various places, getting huge, vague numbers that no one would commit to. Like $800 as I recall. And the I called The Place That Ships. They were super helpful in talking through how to measure the bundled rugs so they could give a reasonable quote. I paid like $140 for everything including packing, boxes etc and transport. Everyone is friendly & welcoming - you can tell it's a local shop. The first time I shipped a package I was returning to Amazon & a few days later, when it still hadn't been refunded, I called to see if they had the tracking number (they did). Later, when it was time to ship some items to ATL, I went in to get shipping supplies & plan things out. I cannot tell you how pleased I was with their service. Ok, i have been stopping in this place for years now, totally unorganized, arms overflowing with literal crap, labels having been emailed to me by the interested parties,, but NEVER have i had my business in order, not once....this place is the BEST!!! The one guy who is always behind the counter is always so affable, so kind, so helpful and encouraging, i wish he was behind every counter i find myself at in the course of my week....he ALWAYS help me get my stuff in order. Today there were two guys behind the counter and i, as usual was a bit of a mess, with an item to return, an emailed label (my home printer NEVER works y'all) and no way to put the two together. Well in no time, i had emailed them my label, they printed it, packaged my item, and sent me on my way....stress free and judgement free (i am always a mess and always dont have cash)...i have never walked out that door without feeling like my issue was resolved kindly, and efficiently. Unfortunately there are not a lot of Mail Service/Shipping Stores in Escondido. Two of which are owned by Mike, which doesn't leave many choices. I've used both for years. Not anymore. You'd be best off going to Postal Annex. Be Aware: if you go: There really is no accountability by management (read: owner) for any mistakes made by the staff, and a complete and utter disregard for any kind of commitment to customer service, reliability, or even accuracy. The communication/organization skills suck at the management level. It's obvious they think little of their customers, although we do pay them for these services. Customer's suffer if anything goes wrong. read more

I recently started needing large format prints fairly consistently. I shopped some of the other print shops in town, including the big boys (FedEx, Staples, etc.) before I learned that these guys did what I needed... and a bunch more. My first print came out really nicely and well under budget. On my second visit, the dude recommended that I call and email them in advance and that they'd have my prints ready for me. Nice. One time I went in and saw three prints when I asked for only one. Dude said he wasn't happy with the quality of the first two, corrected it, then offered the "subpar" ones to me for free. Who does that? After a few months of business they have my card number on file, and they charge it once a week or something. My office secretary is a stickler for numbers. Out of the blue while balancing budgets one day, she said "these print guys are good." So I figured I'd let them know here now. Basically good, solid, trustworthy folks who will have my business as long as I have business to give them. read more

In 2007 I wandered into Mailboxes and More because they were offering 6 months of free PO box service for fire victims. Of course I took them up on the offer! Since then, Mailboxes has been a lifesaver for me and my "other office". When I drive up to the store, the employees recognize my car and have my mail in hand as I arrive. How's that for customer service! Mike and his staff are amazing and are willing to accommodate anything I need. Mike has a heart of gold and has financially supported my non-profits Healthy Kids Choice and Candy Buy Back for years. He ships thousands of pounds of candy to our troops after Halloween to Operation Gratitude all at his own cost. The workers have changed over the years but they're always positive. I remember when I first went here, I always see this pretty blonde female worker. She ALWAYS gets the job done. Unfortunately, I never got her name. I haven't seen her lately so I'm guessing she moved or something Now, they have brand new employees that I've never seen before and they're all super chill.
