Since this has happened twice in less than a month, I will leave a review. I usually prefer to use the kiosk to avoid dealing with lines and TRENT. But, it seems as if the kiosk is down more than it's up. I came in one day when the internet was down. Instead of signs and/or announcements indicating they could not do anything but sell you stamps, take prepaid packages and mail, they allowed people to stand in a long line, only to get up to the front and stare at you without saying anything for an awkward moment. Then TRENT told me with a snippy voice, "our internet is down. You have to go somewhere else." I didn't say anything this day. Then today I come in. Ugh, TRENT is there again. Darn the kiosk is down AGAIN! Luckily only one person in line ahead of me. That person only spoke Spanish and Trent spoke only a tad. After a few minutes, they ended up understanding what each other wanted. I am up next. I did notice a lady over at the small round table to the left and not part of the line you stand in to get service. She's taking items from a bag and putting them in a mailer. She finishes right around the time TRENT finishes with the male customer. After he walks away, Trent says "Who's next?" I said I was and walked up. Once again he just stares at me for an awkward moment and says, "Your next?" I said, "Yes, she was over there packing up her stuff the whole time I have been standing in line." He says, "She's next. If I call you and tell you, you are next, then you are next." Funny, he didn't tell the guy who had just been arrested in the line ahead of me he was next. He just walked up. I step back and get in line and the girl all smug walks up. I say out loud (only the three of us are there at this time). "OK, remind me to come to the post office next time and pack all my stuff and then just come to the front of the line." TRENT then says, "Well if you don't like it, you should go to another post office." I said, "I should have, as every time I come here and you are here..you have been rude (not just to me either). So, when it's my turn once again, I ask for his supervisors name. Then I ask if he's there and he tells me he's on vacation. So I ask for his number to contact him later. He leaves and comes back with a phone number, for Randi. I leave and try calling it and it's busy, stays busy for sometime before I think, did he give me a bogus number or take the phone off the hook so I couldn't leave a message? Moral of the story, if you walk in this unreliable post office and see TRENT. Go to another nearby location. read more

I needed some stamps...the postal worker was very helpful and professional...he showed me the stamps that were available....and took his time with me..wanted to get some stamps before postage goes up. read more

Go to place for all this postal! Staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable, supplies well organized, and the facility is very clean. Only downside is sometimes priority Mail materials are out of stock, but there's always the ability to order and deliver to the house. I have not done this yet, but will update once I do. read more

Worst customer service . Always have some smart remark to say to customers such as " it's not part of my job" and make you stand in line for quite some time before they look up say noting and eventually call you up. They worry more about talking about their weekends many times in Spanish using foul language. They always push you to write a review on their service. Well here it is. This is just a warning if you go do a walk in passport from 2pm to 3pm, get there at 1pm and sign in to reserve your spot because they only leave 4 spots open total for "walk ins" and nowhere on the website does it state that. What a joke. They don't even properly communicate with customers. Waste of time getting off work. read more

I love this post office. It's in a highly populated area, easier for a lot of folks to access, they have disabled parking outside and ramps. The doors to enter are regular pull doors though. Inside, it is very spacious and lit with sunlight and regular inside lights on cloudy days. The service here was pretty fast even on a day where I heard one employee say they had other employees call out. read more

Older white postman with glasses working there is So rude! 5/12/25 SHOULD BE FIRED!! went to ask where to get my $200 back or how to apply for or the correct firm, I paid for a passport that they gave her the wrong form to fill out & send in. She never got a passport because of that post office's incompetence! The postman working on 5/12/25 was extremely rude yelling at me for simply asking how to get my $200 back I paid to get NO PASSPORT. Just yelled at us & said we had to go to another post office. Where that post office simply told us the correct form for her to fill out. That guy w/the glasses should not be working with the public! I'll be filing an FTC complaint against that post office because of them making me loose $200 due to incompetence! postman was actually verbally abusive! read more

I come into this location every few months to send a package out. There's a short guy working the window (perhaps Latino, if a description is needed). He often talks to the customers, loudly, and...the line is so long, I wish he would just greet them, and get the task at hand done a bit quicker. And I initially thought that maybe he thinks it's good customer service, because he's being personable. But I've listened to his conversations, and they're idiotic. Today, he was talking about his vacation or some such thing, as if the customer even cared. So today I get to the front of the line. I waited until it was clear. He looked at me, so I walked up. He snapped at me that he wasn't ready yet. Okay, so...I step back. Then he waves me over a minute later. When he asks why I haven't written the address on the package, I tried saying to him, "Every time I come here to send a package I do that, and you guys print up your own label to stick over it, so I didn't do that this time." I got about half way into that, and he snapped at me, "What people? I don't care what people?!!! I'm telling you to do that. Now go do that, and go get to the back of the line." He was rather rude. Luckily, a nicer older guy helped me when I finally got back to the front of the line (clerk #28 the receipt says). At least that clerk was nice. This Post Office is located off of Escondido Blvd near the movie theater. I've been going here forever and it's been a great experience. Each and every staff here is awesome with fantastic customer service: from the all of the staff that work here frontline and out in the back. I recently dropped by because I was missing a package that delivered, and kept checking my PO Box and it was nowhere to be found. So after a few days of giving it time, I finally got in line to inquire about it. I was helped by the manager- Randi and he was very helpful. He was very kind and quick to recover it grabbing it from the back! Not sure where it was, but all that matters was that I got it although delayed and all. I appreciate all they do here as they have been busy serving the local community during these hard times, from pre-covid to now with the current pandemic, wonderful staff all around. :) read more

Update: Went here to check on a package that was marked as "Delivered to parcel locker" in the wrong zip code and definitely not to my address. I do not have a locked mailbox or locker of any kind, just a normal mailbox. The guy I talked to here was dismissive, unempathetic and not eager to help me in any way. He suggested I go to "my post office", I mean why do you think I'm here? He told me to go to a different post office location but could not provide which one, just said it was "across the street". Despite sitting at a table doing nothing, he acted entitled and like he had better things to do. Avoid this location at all costs. read more

Fairly decent post office. Stopped in here while driving through Escondido because I needed a specific size box for Priority Mail. An employee helped me find the size I was looking for, which I appreciate. The post office itself was a little hard to locate because it's in a strip mall and looks like any other store. I'm used to post offices being separate buildings. That also creates more potential for lack of parking, since so many other businesses are located right next to it. Overall, just so-so. read more

This is my go to place to ship all my items to my customers. All employees are friendly, helpful and very accommodating. Friendly - someone will welcome you once you entered the facility and the lady gave a goodies to my niece while we're there waiting in line. Helpful - if you have questions or inquiry about the service, you have a representative that is knowledgeable to answer your questions and recommendations how you can save $$ to ship your mail or boxes. Accommodating - ready to help and assist when you need it. One time I have so much items to mail and representative step up to assist. he scanned, create and print the label for my packages. read more

In and out faster than you can say "shipping internationally!" Not a second waiting in line, Mike (very friendly staff member) attended me at a nearby available register. He was hauling a few boxes and I was so pleasantly surprised by his service in attendance. He stopped what he was doing to assist me promptly! Not even my man does this. The BEST service I've received from ANY USPS location nation-wide. While he was printing my labels, he also managed to efficiently handle someone else's questions. I don't come this post office often however when I need things to be sent out or there's any issues at my local branch this location always comes through rain or shine. What I like most about this location is that they have all the materials available for all the priority mail. Come holiday time - this is good to know you guys can thank me later. Remember to smile and thank your postmaster because they come through and give you whatever you need without any complaints. Keep in mind- they have a tough job but still deliver the message. The clerks behind the counter have little commitment to providing quick and efficient service to the customer. The line can be out the door, one clerk behind the counter casually chatting about his mother's broken leg or taking personal calls on a cell phone. Every trip is unbearable. I came here looking to send some payments to back home in the islands. I stopped in once, made a transaction and then walked back in to make another. I entered and received very friendly and fast service. Even when a crowd came in; the 2 workers were polite and worked efficiently. I would assume that this branch is under manpower issues I'm sure; because there was only 1 cashier visible and another came from the back. Not good when someone has to go to lunch huh? But I was in and out in under 20 minutes for an express package with a line of 6 in front of me. Not bad in my opinion. Terrible terrible customer service. I came in with my item unpackaged because i dont have a box or tape at home and was hoping i could buy them there to package my gift for someone. As im standing in line the lady at the international shipping counter calls me out in front of everyone saying "you need to get that ready!" like um obviously but do you see a box or tape in my hand? thats exactly what im in line to buy. then she sighs very loudly and hands me this DIRTY box with dusty crinkled tape all over it and reluctantly hands me tape. when i taped it up she said "oh wow you actually did it!" and then said "wow you didnt write the address on it??" and i said "i dont even have a pen" like come on lady why dont you just hand me what i need to make both of our transactions easier. it really isn't that hard. she also grabbed the tape that i used and said "is this the one you used? good because youre buying it." such an unpleasant experience. I normally LOVE our postal workers but this particular branch is a dark dreary place with some mean workers (looking at you Maria) They don't carry forms that any other post office would normally carry. Try asking for something and you'll get a snarkey order to move told go to a different post office. I wanted change of address forms. An extremely common form for a post office to carry. "We don't carry those" not even that they don't have any right now. Ridiculous. The place is clean and has a nice assortment of cards, etc but that's hardly worth the effort read more

The best Post Office I've ever experienced! Wonderful customer service and not very busy.

I actually like coming to this post office. The staff here are always pleasant and it's only during peak times that you get crazy lines - at least in my experience. The only thing that is a drag is that you can't drop packages except during lobby hours. If you could do that, it would be 5 stars. In those times I need to drop a package, I have to go over to Mission, which is kind of a pain. They ALWAYS have the mailing supplies right out easy to get to. Whether you need priority boxes, envelopes, or Express supplies, they keep them stocked. They also have an electronic mailing thingy with a scale that you can use so you don't HAVE to go up to see a person if you prefer to do it on your own and you can drop the package into the package drop when you finish. It's the kind that is nice and safe and your package can't be reached once it's inserted. They have a PO Box section if you need that and they also have a small store here so you can buy other postal products and collectibles (for you stamp enthusiasts). It used to be bigger but they have scaled back... still, nice to have. But don't come when I need to go there... I don't want you jacking up the lines. read more

I came when they opened and when Marvin learned it was my birthday he wished me a happy birthday and was just great all round. Just your typical smaller post office. I go here because it's walking distance from my office so if I need something sent out, I just come here. This is not as busy as the main office in Escondido and typically has less employees. There's no post-master here so if you have a complaint or missing a package, you would have to go to the main office (which is about 3 miles away). The older gentleman is very helpful but needs to smile a bit - can't really blame him because he deals with people everyday and some of them tend to be not-so-friendly. Overall, this place is quiet and not as busy as the other bigger post office but it does get busy during the holiday season. Today is an example as the line was almost coming out of the main door. Good thing I only have a drop off which I just handed to the older gentleman I mentioned. read more

Rudest woman I've ever met! I got to post office with 5 minute until close im at the door, door is shut and she is making a hand moment as she's slicing her throat. I'm like what does that mean? She's totally won't answer me then I yell out excuse me it's 5 more minutes to close she yells at me we're closed. I said well there's 5 min can I at least get the forms I need she says nope and walks away from door. I can't believe I'm writing a review for the post office but here I am. Only because of how unprofessional this worker, who I later find out is a SUPERVISOR, was to me for absolutely no reason. This man approached us as I was writing an address on an envelope to mail a package. He asked if we needed help, we didn't, so we said no and he walked away. Everything was cool until he decided to make rude comments (directed towards us), to the man working alongside him. A "supervisor" felt the need to make these rude and disrespectful comments about us, referring to us as "troublemakers" when we were simply filling out an envelope to mail a package. Love the staff members:) I always come here or The Valley pkwy location but if you get here 20-25mns before closing time and you don't make it to the door by the exact time they close They WON'T Let you IN! It's a Bummer cuz even thou you get there before closing time and you've been waiting there patiently on line they still won't let you go in, :/ It's not our fault other people have issues shipping items and take a LONG Time to ship something,, at least they could get the remaining people in line inside before actually closing the doors on our faces!,, That's something to think about... read more

Wow!!! If you want to have a bad experience then come to this particular post office. 3 different occasions with in a year! 1st time I came a lil after 4 :30 pm on a weekday- they were closed-business hours sign says open til 5pm. Ok no biggie- I needed to send something priority mail. So I went to fed ex instead. 2nd chance I was waiting for important documents from Hawaii and it said online that was delivered to my house but wasn't! So I called them and they said to come pick it up and they have it! I get there and they said it was actually trying to be re-delivered!! The clerk was not apologetic, and rude and didn't care at all he just said you need to wait there's nothing they could do. Did I get my documents ?? yes-but a few days late -so much for certified mail.and the extra fee- I asked why would you post it was delivered online before it's has actually been delivered ??no explanation nor refund on their part for their mistake! Ugh...I would rather go to the dentist and get a root canal then deal with them. I understand there are government budget cuts but that doesn't mean you have the right to act like a a$$hole! I'm a pretty patient person and I can tolerate a lot of $h!T but geez they are the epitome of the worst customer service in the world! This time it's the last straw!!!! I needed to send out an actual bill and had no stamps, so I came here and I had to buy 1 stamp. I was in a hurry and the lady at the counter took my bill but I don't remember her even getting the stamps out and putting it on my envelope. Three days later I get my bill back in the mail with a notice that it had been send without and postage. Not only did that upset me- I got a late charge fee for missing a payment!
