I always drop off my packages here but I've Learned not to drop off mail with the clerk. I send my time sheets in through usps and every single time I've ever left the mail with the clerk it either doesn't get sent off the same day or somehow they forget. I don't have a problem if I drop it in the box myself though, it gets there on time. So I've learned to drop it in the box myself even if they say they can take it from you. read more

One of the nicer USPS locations I've been to. I had to send a package off but it was poorly taped, the worker strongly advised me to get it retaped because it won't last. Luckily, I had packing tape and scissors in my car which he let me fetch and watched my package. This was all before they were about to close too. read more

The post office is a joke!! The employees aren't consistent with how they handle you. Change policy to suit their style of service. Long lines...slow!! Always low on product. The auto shipping machine rarely works!! So not helpful. read more

This location is terrible. There is usually only one or two people working and it is always really slow. During busy times and holiday's good luck finding the shipping supplies you'll need as they often run out. I've tried going on different days and times and only once was the line less than 5 people. It was very frustrating today when there were two workers but only one was working at the register, the other was helping customers use the automated machine (that gives step by step instructions anyway) that was a waste of manpower. Bottom line: don't come here unless you can use the automated machine (debit/credit only) or if you have at least half an hour or more to wait in line. The one on mission is much better and worth driving a few extra minutes to save on sanity! read more

This is a nice post office, but I wish the po box area had better hours. The post office seems in a good area, I don't the rationale for closing the po box area at 5:30 pm, but there doesn't seem to be any reason it could be open longer, or always. The po box aisles are viewable from a vehicle, like a police pass-by, and surveillance cameras can take care of the rest. Parcels could be picked up sooner, freeing up parcel boxes, seems it would be a win-win for USPS and USPS clients. read more

Seriously don't waste your time coming to this location. The man who 'helped' me for less than 30 seconds, looked at my packages and told me to come back later when they were wrapped properly. This has never happened before and I was super taken aback by how rude and inconsiderate he was. & if you think they're inadequately wrapped, why don't you do something to help solve the issue instead of telling me to get out and fix it myself? In my experience, this post office has helpful and friendly staff every time I come in to ship something. You don't feel like they don't like their job and they're very helpful when it's your first few times shipping. I've been to the post office on Mission Ave. as well, but I didn't feel the staff that helped me was very welcoming or friendly. Will definitely be using this location instead. read more

I Mailed a package and its supposed to be in the destination three days and right now its been 10 days the package has been lost, no matter how many times i called or I stopped at the main post office nobody give me a real answer. The package was supposed to be a gift for thanksgiving. read more

I went in shortly before noon on Christmas eve (they closed at noon). The lady at the counter was very helpful in every way, including helping me chose the right package to use for an insured item being mailed across the country. It took a little bit longer than I thought it would, but over all I was very impressed with my experience there and I enjoyed not having to wait in a long line!!! read more

Looks like I'm not the only one who has he had issues with the supervisor (Randi) at this location.... I had two issues that I was trying to take care of, one I sent a package overnight on Friday was supposed to be there on Saturday it did not show up until Monday. The other issue was they double charge me for the shipping fees. When I tried to get a refund he claimed that they only charged me once but I went down with my bank statements and had my bank statement live on my phone and he refused to return my money. He got very aggressive with me started to shout, pointing his finger at me and threatened to call the police. When I asked him for his name so I could speak to his manager he refused to give me his name. The only reason I know his name is because I went to the main office and spoke with the manager. This person has no qualifications to be in charge of anyone or be any sort of customer service representative for the Post Office. The only place he belongs is in the unemployment line. I'm not one that usually right reviews (this is only the second review I have posted in my life) but the aggressive threatening manner this person showed towards me as a customer, was worth writing the review. read more

I really don't like going to the Post Office because of the waiting line, but when I have to, this particular one is my favorite. The staff is always so courteous and friendly. They take the time necessary to accomplish whatever it is we are there for. They have patience with any and all questions, and remain very professional throughout the exchange. This location is nice looking, clean, and that is it. That is where the good ends. No joke. This is the closest location to me so I go here often, especially when I need to save time, lol. I guess I am hoping for a very short line so I can get out quick. By short, I mean 1 person because these guys take forever. I guess I should start with today's visit. I waited in line about 15 minutes. There were only two people ahead of me when I came in. Three actually, but one left a couple of minutes after I got in line. At first there were two clerks, and the first guy in line went, but for some reason the first clerk helped him and another guy simultaneously. The second clerk (Al, I believe) was helping one lady who had many packages (around 10) and many (if not all) of those were being sent to the same address, and she was paying with change, AND she was doing it all in different transactions!!! She was there when I walked in, and it did not look like she would be done anytime soon. Throughout the time I was in there Al kept reassuring her that it was "ok". Well it is not. Who sends multiple packages to the same address at once? Very inconsiderate if you ask me. What kind of cashier would allow this to happen as the line grows? Very incompetent if you ask me. Then the lady cashier comes out and helps the first customer in line. She is much better than Al, but still a terrible cashier when it comes to efficiency. So she takes forever, helping the second customer that was in line in front of me. When I finally hear the receipt printing I am overcome with joy and relief. Those feels were only momentary because of the words that came out of her mouth when she came over to the line. She asked if anyone was ONLY buying stamps. Who does that? How is that fair to any of us who have been in line forever? Anyway, I ended up taking fifteen minutes to send one package, when there were only two people in front of me (when I walked in), with two cashiers which turned into three. This is not the first time I have been disappointed by this location. In fact, when the lady cashier decided to help only those who were buying stamps, it reminded me of a time when Al did something similar last year. I walked in and there were maybe three people in line, and AL was helping a customer on the shipping machine while there was only one other clerk helping people. When he finished helping the lady on the machine, I thought he would hop on his register and help annihilate the line which thanks to him, had grown to immense proportions while he played on the shipping machine. Unfortunately, I could not have been more let down, he asked the line if anyone wanted to use the machine! WHO DOES THAT!?!? Really? The machine? When your friend is getting slammed over here? Anyway, he took someone back to the machine and messed around while his friend got absolutely destroyed. I do not remember how long I took, all I can recall is that it was much longer than it should have been. This happened around the time when they were about to be closed and they wanted you to fill out the survey to help them stay open. I regret not filling it out and telling them that they needed to keep it open because the demand was there but they desperately needed to change personnel. read more

worst service ever and I mail every day. Just moved to escondido from rancho bernardo. even the clerks there warned about the office on escondido blvd. Had no choice to go here since this is only post office open on saturday in escondido. I mailed a package and inquired about overnight. the clerk said yes they do overnight deliveries even on sunday. I do not know postal rules so I relied on her. I paid $36.25 with a money back guarantee that it would be delivered by sunday by 3pm. well... it did not get there until monday evening and they are refusing to give me my money back. In fact.. it actually show that my package never existed because it was never scanned. So that means its lost???? Supervisor in the office was very rude to me and he said I only paid $23.75 which is untrue. I showed him my receipt that clearly states $36.25 and he looked at me and says thats impossible. I regret not having gone to fed ex.... This has been such a mess. read more
