I called the customer a few days later to follow up , and he never received it. I called postal annex to check status and when I was directed to track the package - it shows it was never sent ? I came here because it's conveniently located off the 15 and all of these reviews raved about their customer service. I needed printing services in an emergency prior to 9 AM and this was one of the only shops open. I tried calling to confirm they were open but all it was was an 800 number that didn't do much for me because it was a robot that didn't understand what I was requesting. So I showed up in good faith and of course they were closed. Thank you Dina. I had a relative visit for a month and wound up with more to take home than she came with. I boxed up items in three boxes and a couple of large loose items for which I would need packaging. Dina suggested trying to get them all in one or two boxes. Wasn't sure how that would happen or how big the box would have to be. End of the day, mission accomplished thanks to Dina's persistence and diligence. I saw the sign said OPEN so l went in and was "greeted" with a scowl. The man behind the counter was rude and totally unprofessional. While I waited to get my documents emailed, he let out a huge, horrendous belch. I was in shock. This was not my only unsavory encounter with this guy. This place is great! I love the fact they are quick and helpful! They helped me to ship my cousin across the United States a very special picture of his father who is deceased and it got there safely and quickly and he was so pleased! They have helped me mail so many important documents and boxes as I have many military friends who I send care packages. I'd you need a birthday card they have cute ones there too! This postal annex is unreliable and closes whenever they want. Their site clearly shows the hours of operation but I went there on a Saturday around 1pm, and they were closed. Went there another day at 5pm when they supposed to close at 6pm...guess what.... Closed. Very random and unreliable. Sucks when you have to call to see if they open. Smh read more

Be careful of this place. We had a check rerouted to this Postal Annex because we were worried about porch pirates. The owner said she didn't see a name on the envelope and said she thought it was hers and opened the envelope and got exited thinking she received a large amount of money. After seeing the check didn't have her name on it she resealed the envelope and returned it back to UPS. She tried to apologize saying it was just a harmless mistake, but how can you not see the envelope didn't have her name on it before opening. Zero rating. I went to this store on Saturday August 20th to mail some items out, the employee George was very rude and not helpful at all, he just kept trying to sell me things i didn't need and complained the whole time. This place has amazing customer service!! Very friendly staff that truly goes out of their way to help and genuinely cares about their customers! We had our PO Box here for about 2 years and we had great service the entire time. We hated leaving them but we moved out of Escondido. Two years after our move a medical supply company tried delivering some needed equipment and even though the company called us the day before delivery to confirm our new address they still managed to send our stuff to Escondido. The staff here remembered us and called us , just so happened we were in Escondido at that moment so she offered to except the delivery and we picked it up with no issues. That is going above and beyond, great job to this store and staff!!!!! read more

This PostalAnnex has come a long way. I wasn't very happy when it changed from the post office and pretty much stopped using it do to lack of knowledge from previous workers. Recently, I needed a passport picture and decided since this was the closest and competitively priced, I might as well try. Even though i had my 3 yr olds with me I was able to get a great picture and was given a coupon for the service because I was patient with her setting up the camera. It was overall a wonderful experience that has won me back to this place. read more

Most of the time, the person behind the counter doesn't know what they are doing. The computers have been down when I have been there, my credit card gets denied for some reason (never happens anywhere else because I have perfect credit and money in my account). The people seem nice, but I only go there when I absolutely have to. read more

All I can say is wow. I have never been so disappointed in a postal annex before! The owner is not a nice woman and she will literally add additional charges to everything if you let her. Before you know it she's charged you a dollar for "labor," she'll charge another for printing or copying a shipping label, and she even charges to add tape to a box. She really ruined my experience here which was good up until I met her. Her other two employees are great, they never try to sneak in labor charges or anything. I highly recommend that you just drive to the other postal annex, FedEx, or ups because this place is really disappointing! read more
