Located in a busy strip mall, this is your one stop shop for all your shipping needs. There's parking in the front, easy peasy. You need to time your visits based on the local school dismissal times because PostalAnnex+ is sandwiched between the high school and middle school...and the kids like to hang out at the strip mall. I've mostly done returns here but I've seen PO Boxes, copiers, and all your basic shopping needs. Most of the times, I've just handed my package to the gentleman behind the counter, told him it was a return, and went on my way. Everything has always arrived to its destination- USPS or UPS. No complaints. read more

Arrived to front desk to ship out 2 packages and advised the employee that I had 2 barcodes I'm guessing he didn't hear that. He started asking questions about shipping address. I showed him barcode and he god mad and said in a rude way " why didn't you tell me before" i mentioned that I did and he just replied with "we don't do that here". I told him I had just done it a couple of days ago then he just said it wasn't working. Very unprofessional read more

Fazel is great. Always excellent customer service! I've had my mailbox here for over 20 years and they treat me like family.

Accessibility: there is accessible/disabled parking in front of a store next to this place and the ramp to get up to the sidewalk is also in front of the stores next door. The door to enter the building is a pull door but it is sometimes propped open. Experience: When you enter, this Postal Annex is much more spacious than other ones which is really nice and relaxing. It is also more organized looking and not so over-packed full of stuff, which again, made me feel more relaxed. They have P.O. boxes here, hand lotion, lip balm, cards, packaging supplies, a few toys, keys with patterns you can make, a computer you can pay to use and more. This postal Annex is definitely one I will return to. The woman working was also nice. read more

I prefer to go to the post office but this location is so convenient. Maribel is mostly helpful and the only employee there. She's a notary and at times, tries to help ship things at a lower cost if she's in a helpful mood. Other times, she's happy to charge you for a more expensive option without asking. I also arrived when they opened and the doors were closed. I waited and sure enough, she comes rolling in at 9:09am. Not sure if this was just an off day or a regular occurrence but keep that in mind. Parking lot is small but I usually find a spot in front, even during the lunch hour rush. read more

This location is so convenient for me. I stop by here maybe once a month. The employees are so helpful and always try to get me the cheapest price when shipping large items. They are friendly and more accommodating than USPS. Plus if they say they're open till 6pm, actually are. I have walked in once at about 5:59 PM and they still accepted my package for drop off. read more

I went in for notary service, and things couldn't have been better. Fazil was very helpful and friendly. I really appreciate that. Highly recommended! read more

Pretty sure this location stole the item my daughter brought to ship which was a large crochet bag she made herself and sold. My daughter is a minor. She walked the bag to this store, a 3 mile walk in each direction and paid to send usps. The package never was scanned by usps, it never left this store. Unfortunately she didn't insure it, she didn't know better. The owner manager was rude about it to my daughter over the phone and hung up. My daughter was respectful and nervous to even confront this. We drove over there. I was polite until the man there was rude (same tall skinny rude guy others have mentioned). He basically said too bad. It's just an overall weird situation. We will never go here again. I miss the good old days where at least people would be polite and try to provide good customer service. read more

There should be a negative rating instead of a 1 star. The staff who just worked today is not very friendly, helpful and doesnt know what she's doing. I will never come back here again. read more

Best service!! The man who helped me was so helpful and so sweet, I'm definitely coming back!!

I went to use their notary services for my minors passport and the gentleman pulled out a blue ink pen when in all of the passport forms it clearly stated use black ink only, good thing I had my own black pen and I even told him black ink pen was needed and then he took out his own pen. I went to my passport appointment today and they advised me that the notary work was done incomplete as they did not even provide me with a copy of the ID which was needed for the other party involved in the paperwork to get my minors passport renewed. He has no idea how to do his notary job and his attitude it's just not it, I was there before 9am which is the time he has to open and since he was late 2 customers left due to him been unpunctual. Do not recommend this location read more

I will not be going here again or recommending. There was a tall man who was so rude and did not even try to assist me in what I was requesting. He told me to leave and go to another postal annex. I'm so disappointed in how rude and disrespectful this man was. read more

They helped me get my passport pictures and send off my application all within 10 min for $26. They also helped me make sure all the information they needed was there and correctly filled out. So happy! Thank you read more

a minute ago Don't waste your time here, they were extremely rude & unprofessional. I paid extra to make sure my letter was delivered by Monday, but after waiting a couple of days I checked the tracking number and saw the shipping label was created, but never mailed. I went into the store on Monday (the same day my letter was supposed to be delivered) & showed them the tracking information showed the letter was never mailed, they looked around the back & said someone forgot to mail it, then they turned around and lied & said I told them to hold it. I ended up getting a refund & going to a different Postal Annex, which also ended up being cheaper. read more

Cool way to have a street address for those currently house less. No P.O. Box, a street address and open any time for subscribers. Easily accessible building right on a corner. read more

I was at PA yesterday and emailed them docs for printing. Then faxed a whole bunch of docs. Alea was very helpful. Today, I had to fax docs to the doctor and Ben was most accommodating. He knew how important it was that the docs were received so in spite of the fax line being very busy, he was so patient RE-faxing it a number of times. And to be sure the doctor received the documents, he advised me to call. He truly went beyond what I normally expect. He makes that place very service oriented, his caring nature and professionalism are a huge plus for PA in Cardiff. Thank you, Ben! read more

The usual woman that works at this Postal Annex is rude very unprofessional.

Called beforehand to ask if this location did Live Scan fingerprints and that walk-ins were welcome. I was ensured that they were. The employee had not been properly trained on the software and this was evident straight off the bat. We tried to leave and go to another location, but the employee insisted they could handle it. After 30 minutes, they finally gave up and realized they weren't able to handle the software. One of the worst customer service interactions I've encountered. It would have been fine if they had just told us they were not able to handle the process, there were plenty of other options for this service. Employee was condescending and rude throughout the interaction, trying to place the blame on the customer for them not having the proper training. read more

I hate to leave a 1 star review but I'm hoping the business owner will see this and will come up with a better process in how they organize and sort their parcels so that the appropriate parcel carriers receive them successfully. I dropped off an expensive 1800's vintage item to be shipped out to a buyer and even told the owner to be careful with it when packaging, charge me probably way too much for the packaging materials, but that was okay, it was worth the peace of mind. 10 days later, I receive a notice from the buyer to cancel because of non-shipment. I clicked on the tracking number and found out FedEx NEVER received my package. IMO, my package was stolen. So disappointed...I'll never trust this store location again. Like the other reviewers mentioned, don't waste your time. read more

I shipped a $5 book from this location, and was charged $8 for the 'cheapest' shipping option. I've been to other Postal Annex's that've charged $3. Good service, but they seem to charge quite a bit more. read more

Fazil and his team were amazing. I run a chicken restaurant in Rancho Penasquitos and when we decided to print out some take out menus I searched all over for the best price. Fazil and his team were able to beat out every competitor while offering to fold and ship the menus to our restaurant. When we sent a file that was corrupted, Fazil was able to work with our designer to get it fixed and made minor edits to ensure print quality. We will be using Postal Annex for all of our print needs going forward. Thank you. read more

I came here to ship a bunch of boxes of Christmas gifts back east. The gentleman behind the counter (I'm guessing the owner) was extremely helpful, professional and patient. He helped tape my boxes up, even putting in a piece of cardboard on top before closing it to protect the contents inside for when it would be cut open. There was one person before me, as he had gotten to me a couple other with some small items came in and, respectfully, he helped them first all it took was about a minute. As I was being helped with several boxes going to several different places others started to come in, he greeted each and every person as they entered and let them know there were 1,2 or 3 people ahead of them and that he would be with them as quickly as possible. As he was finishing up with me without skipping a beat he made a quick call to a store associate for some assistance. He let me know every detail about my receipt and when each package would arrive. This is what great customer service looks like! Thanks again. read more

In addition to the outstanding service, the owner (Fazil) sincerely makes you feel like a close friend. He has a really great staff, and has added some very capable equipment to serve the business community for things such as large quantity print flyers and shredding. I definitely recommend this store! read more

Please do not use this postal annex. The postal annex employee Catherine Piper in correctly wrote done my ATI # on my live scan fingerprinting scan. When I was unable to retrieve my results I called the PA. Fazel answered and said that's the wrong number. He gave me correct number. When I went in to the store to have him resubmit with the correct number he arrogantly said it's done correctly. He refused to resubmit with the correct number. He had a terrible attitude and was quite arrogant, repeatedly saying, I did nothing wrong. I'm extremely frustrated since I need these results to receive employment. He was unwilling to correct or help. I paid $75 for this service. Please use another postal annex or fingerprinting service. I don't even wanna give them a one-star but there wasn't a my a negative start to give him in this day and age I think everybody should be a little more kind and understanding. Obviously this was not the case at the store with this man. read more

This business lost my important business documents. I came into the shop to get USPS first class mail sent to an important government recipient. I paid extra to ensure that I could track my mail. I have never encountered so many issues with sending out mail. First, the clerk at the desk got the address wrong on the shipping label and I caught the wrong address before I left the store and had them create a new correct label. When I attempted to track my mail there were no updates at all. I called the manager of Postal Annex and his excuse was that USPS sometimes does not update their database on certified mail and I should call the recipient to see if they received the mail. My response was that I paid extra to ensure that I would be updated on where my mail was going and also to make sure it was received because I could not simply contact the important recipient! They said there was nothing they could do and to ask USPS. Made a report with USPS and they could not find my mail either and said that the managers response from Postal Annex about USPS not tracking certified mail was odd. So beware if you have important mail you need sent.. this is not the place to take it if you want to ensure the recipient gets the mail!!! read more

This place is the worst! I have had a pmb here for almost 3 months now and not 1 single piece of mail! The lady Laura always and ONLY suggests that you fill out the paper form change of address for the post office.... I have twice, been in post office 3 times in person, and twice online (charging me $1 each time). Today I received a text that my Amazon package was delivered, when I went in to pick up, was I formed Nope! And then instead of CUSTOMER SERVICE, I was told (by Laura), fill out another change of address...W.T.F. How about helping me w/ tracking number or contacting driver to figure out what happened. I contacted Amazon and they confirmed it was delivered to the right address on file, and they don't have the courier contact info. *updated* I may have been hasty posting this review yesterday, with in a couple of hours of my frustrated visit, I received a voicemail that my mail has been found and was delivered by USPS not Amazon. I have family that has accounts here for several years and they are happy. read more

I had come here many times in the past month to notarize various documents for a new job. Upon pledging my continued support of this location as I stood in line for 15 minutes to notarize my driver's license and social security card, I was turned away and told to go to the issuing agencies to have this done. I called my employer and I was directed to the nearest UPS with a notary and they took care of it for me in a flash. UPS not only notarized these documents for me, but they are cheaper too. read more

We have had our mail delivered here since sometime in the 1990's when USPS recovered mail that was stolen from our street-side mailbox. Our mail is always in the box on time. They always find time to give us our packages regardless of how busy they are and occasionally will help us get one to the car. They will even call us if they know that we are expecting an important package that is time-sensitive. The store is always neat and clean. It's time to renew my passport and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else to get a new picture. read more
