Horrible location with incompetent staff that don't know how to do their job. I had 3 Amazon returns and 3 different QR codes. Presented all of them to this girl working here. She said 2 were the same and were "scanned twice". I thought this might be correct because 2 of the items were ordered together so that sort of made sense to me at the time but it turned out to be a big mistake. Looking at the 3 screenshot they are all different returns. While the other 2 items are processed as returns the 3rd one isn't showing up and I have to dispute the original purchase with my bank because someone here didn't do their job. Additionally this location has terrible holiday hours and bad hours in general. If you return a package a little before closing it won't be processed until the next day. Avoid this horrible location! read more

Every time I go in to ship, return something to Amazon, etc. the entire process is simple, fast and positive. The staff is always so pleasant and welcoming. Today I went to take some shredding in for the first time and it couldn't have been easier. It was also less expensive than I thought it would be. Sending a package or a letter (either by UPS or USPS) or a fax the employees always knowledgeable and helpful! I tried them for all three scenarios (UPS package, USPS certified letter and numerous faxes), never an issue or a problem. I'm not sure that if you would go to USPS office it would be cheaper, but we are paying for a convenience and to support a small business in Vista. read more

Shipped out a package over a week ago and it didn't get delivered because the UPS store put the wrong address in. I suggest you triple check everything is correct before you ship anything from here because the employees aren't properly trained and won't even double check to make sure they wrote everything down proper and then blame you for the mistake so be careful. read more

They are close, they are in a shopping center with plenty of parking, they are UPS and have good quality, I trust my package to be delivered. When I have to ship something UPS this is my go to location due to proximity. They are not cheap compared to other kinds of shipping options. Their phone courtesy and customer service is lacking. They have crappy policies about shipping during the holidays. I called a few times and spoke with a manager and she was just flat out rude and uncompromising. I will never pay to use them again. I only use them when someone is paying me to ship something UPS prepaid. read more

This store wanted to charge me $3 for a clear plastic bag and $1 for a piece of tape to return my Amazon item. They also seem to always have an attitude with their customers and show unwillingness to help without compensation. I overheard them quoting another customer $150 to pack an item, which did not include the price of shipping. The owner told me that she needs to charge to keep the lights on. Price gouging the customer is not an ethical way to do business. There never seems to be a shortage of customers at this location, so I doubt they are hurting for business read more

I always come here for USPS packages and Amazon returns. This review is long overdue. They have superb customer service! When there's a line, they always try to work as quickly as possible so you don't wait too long. For example, if both registers are occupied, they often take people on the side who are just dropping off packages. They also acknowledge your presence when you are in line. There's a gentleman there who stands out. He's always very cheerful, greets you, patient and very polite. I forgot his name but you'll know who it is when you go there. But overall, everyone has a positive attitude and great team work! read more

I moved to Oceanside in 2016 and the first place I went on a regular basis was Albertsons plaza on Melrose in Vista. I ordered a lot of products from Amazon and when I need to return, I go to UPS Store in the plaza. Today I went in to use their computer to finish my resume because I don't have Microsoft word on my Mac. Jennifer helped me today because I was struggling with the unfamiliar format. Lynn is also very smart and helpful. Meanwhile many customers came in to use their rented mailboxes and drop off boxes to ship. They also have a nice selection of greeting cards and office supplies handy and free candies on the counter when your starving. This is based on a single experience which I hope is reflected of this location all the time. I went in on a busy weekday afternoon to get a few printouts. I had a couple files on a usb thumbdrive and I had one on my phone google drive which I needed to email to the store. I loved that the employees were not put off by my request to handle multiple data sources and that it was a busy period with lots of people coming in to do afternoon shipments. They were extremely helpful, fast and efficient. This is radically different from what I experience most of the time at different locations. Attitude and proficiency are everything in this kind of business-- so I would actually go out of my way to come here for services! read more

I am beginning this review as I wait outside of the UPS Store on Melrose. I have one document that requires notarization. The notary is assisting a customer with a mound of documents. I was inside earlier, but I was directed by one of the employees to wait outside. It is about 60 degrees outside and raining. I am watching the notary fumble around with the customer's documents. She appears to be nervous and confused. I have been waiting outside for nearly 15 minutes. I made eye contact with two of the four employees who are standing behind the counter - shaking my head in disbelief. Now, 35 minutes have passed and I am still waiting. I am thinking I should have taken my document to the competitor a few miles up the road, but I am hoping this will be over with sometime in the near future. Finally, the notary is finished with her customer. She summons me to the counter. "Wait over there", she commands. Afterwards: While waiting at the counter for the notary to assist me, another employee (Jennifer) approached from the back of the store and asked if I need a notary. When I asked if she had been in the store the entire time she replied that she was "doing paperwork". I expressed my dissatisfaction with having to wait for more than a half hour when all the while there was another notary available. She explained that the store policy is "one notary at a time". Yes, apparently that is their actual, idiotic rule. I have never been on the receiving end of such a ridiculous and anti-customer service policy. It took Jennifer less than 5 minutes to notarize my document. On the bright side, she did not have the audacity to charge the $15 fee, and the ludicrous policy provided me with plenty of time to begin composing this review. If you want to feel undervalued and unappreciated as a customer, be sure to stop by the UPS Store on Melrose. read more

5 stars for Customer Service! I rolled in needing to print an item from my computer for a very important meeting. They don't have wifi, so I was like, what to do! The woman at the front offered me a removable drive that I could put my document on and then printed it, lickedy split! I was in and out in 5 minutes Everyone else in the place seemed smiley and happy. A bit hard to find in the shopping center and again, no wifi, which is super weird - but!
