I have been using this postal annex for a little over a month and it is the best place out there. I've used UPS stores and fedex offices and they are always in her charging and making things more difficult than they have to be. This place has great customer service, super helpful, and makes life easy. I drop packages off their multiple times a week and have never had one problem. The main lady who works their always remembers me and takes great care of me. Will continue to use this place over any other postal place. Maribelle has awful costumer service. She should not be allowed to work with the public. She lied to fedex in front of me (a costumer) and tried to withhold my packages from me. Don't come to this location if you value your time. You are better off driving 5 minutes to the locations in either direction. I came here at 9am, which is when the hours state that they open. Lights on in back, but the door was locked. Figured they needed a few minutes to get started, so I went to get a coffee. Came back quite a few minutes later and still not open, well past 9am at that point. I ended up going to the Sycamore location instead. I complained to a few people in my office and it turns out this is now the normal procedure for this location. One coworker told me she once waited until 9:30(!) and the Annex employee finally walked over from 711 with her snacks for the day... I used to come here all the time a few years ago and the woman with the glasses was always super helpful. Too bad it has gone downhill. I won't be back to this location again. read more

I spent a few weeks having to mail my parents several packages to another town, and a lot of the stuff I had to send were huge in size. I had a lot of trouble finding boxes to fit them in and sometimes, the wrapping sucked (on my end). Maribel helped me find boxes to ship the stuff in, she helped me re-wrap things and gave me several options on how to get there for a decent price. Once the products arrived, my parents told me that they were wrapped so well, nothing was broken. I have Maribel to thank for that, because I did not do a good job wrapping things on my own. read more

I had a package delivered here that required a signature since we weren't sure someone would be around to sign for it. When I called to see if they received my package from FedEx they asked for my tracking info and then said no. I asked if they had any additional information. The lady did not. I always look and listen to reviews. But this one time I just went off of what was a convenient location. My goodness, I should have listened to everyone of those reviews. The notary, maribelle was incredibly rude. I told her before we began that I needed a witness in addition to a notary to watch me sign. She was talking to her buddy when I arrived and clearly wasn't listening to me because once she signed she said she can't provide a witness because she's working by herself and that I should have told her before she signed. I told her I did tell you and she literally said look you can go ask them, and pointed to a customer walking through the door. She said ask them to sign. Like hell, I'm going to ask a stranger to sign my legal documents. What in the world. She had a line of customers (4 people) behind me and she was still trying to make a point that she's right. I was trying to cut the conversation and say good bye and she's still trying to argue. Just awful service for myself, and the customers there. Can not believe that with all these reviews about one person that she still works there. Drive an extra 4 minutes down the road to UPS. & just like MANY other reviews. She forgot to provide the notary form that notaries are supposed to give once they sign. read more

Do not come to this location. There is a lady here (Mary- something is her name?) who is horrible. She is super rude and will get pissed off at you for nothing. When I went she was rolling her eyes at customers and being snarky. This is the second time I've come here and experienced her horrible customer service. Anytime I walk into a place like, I wonder why I didn't drive the extra five minutes to go to a US Post Office. Immediately when you walk in, it smells like some cheap craft store and has the "office supply" section to match. I have been a customer of this location for years. I use them for my business address. I have never been happy with their services but today I had to write a review. I ordered two hams and a cake for Thanksgiving. Honey Baked Ham sent them to my business address instead of my home address. By the time I realized it, Postal Annex was closed. I had 14 people coming to dinner and no hams. I was really upset that they did not bother to pick up the phone and call me to tell me that I had a HONEY BAKED HAM (WRITTEN ALL OVER THE BOXES) delivery (BEING THE DAY BEFORE THANKSGIVING). I tried to contact them via email as well as contacting Maribel's friend at the store next door. She refused to reach out to her to help. I am really disgusted by their customer service. Caution: RUDE lady in this joint! Get this, we wanted to notarize a doc, the lady says shes the only notary on staff, its 11:55AM and she says she cant notarize the doc because she has to take her lunch at noon. Yes, she actually said that she couldn't notarize the doc because her lunch was at noon and she had to take lunch. How long does it take to stamp a doc and take a thumb print? Surely 5 minutes would have been enough time.. But this lazy sal refused, told me to come back at 2pm. 2PM!! a two-hour lunch? What was she going to eat, an entire dinosaur? I might have said "I hope you choke on your lunch", or maybe I just thought that up in my head. Either way, I will not go back. read more

This place is expensive. I wouldn't normally complain except I was charged a $1.50 "labor fee" for her to tape a box. Also was charged a $2.00 supply fee for a USPS Flat Rate envelope that they get for free from the post office. Next time I will ship the packages myself at usps.com and just drop them off so I will not be up charged so much. Bummer bc this place is right next to my work. read more

Do not go here for US Postal shipping!! Their prices were almost DOUBLE from what the post office would charge. The lady also lied about what services were available for my box. It was a 1 pound 1 ounce small box and she said it was overweight for parcel post and it had to go priority. Cost me over $17 and the post office would have shipped parcel post for $7.65. read more

I've described this PostalAnnex as reminding me of a wonderful old-fashioned neighborhood business in a new-fashioned strip mall. I just looked up their phone number and saw the negative reviews, so I had to respond. I've only been using them for about a year as I've recently relocated so, perhaps it's new management but, I have NEVER had bad service! In fact, I switched to them from the UPS store nearby because of the bad service at UPS, and the friendly, helpful service I always received​ here. The same woman has waited on me​ every time, and I average two or three times a month, more at the holidays. She has a great attitude even when I'm just dropping off a box with a pre-paid label which is often. Please, give them a try, the woman I spoke off is ALWAYS working, obviously works hard for her living, and deserves to reap financial​ rewards for her work. read more

Went here to mail a package via Fedex...after trying online and was unable to process my shipment for whatever reason....their price was $9.00 more than the price given by Fedex online....it was also odd to me that because it was my own packaging I had to enter box dimensions which she did not do... I had even over guessed on the weight...the woman was VERY rude when I asked her the price and told her to forget it....she suggested USPS and when I told her no because there is now way to track it past pickup wanted to argue with me about it....I've worked in shipping and know first hand you can not track a USPS package past pickup point...and you're lucky if it tells you it was delivered....perfect example I mailed a return from this place via USPS over a month ago and 3 weeks after it was picked up was still showing it was in the pickup mode ...when I called the company about the return they had the package and had already processed it..... I mean I know these places jack up their prices but that much of a difference is ridiculous.... And as per the comment made by Jess....they get those shipping supplies for free so charging for them is not right..... read more

Had a live scan done at this place haven't received my fingerprint in over a month and a half now. Wanted to get my ATI # so I could find out what is going on with my fingerprinting the lady rudely said, its on your receipt. I told her due to moving I missed place my receipt. She said she didn't care this was over the phone so, I decided all go down to there place its down the hill from where I live anyways. I get there and she is telling my information to a customer and complaining about me. I admit I was frustrated over the phone since they did tell me that I would receive my fingerprint information in 2 weeks plus, I was desperate for it so, that I could apply for jobs. Anyways, I yelled at her and told her its unprofessional to be telling anyone information about your customers, on top of that the customer started yelling at me. The lady called the cops I said good! The cops came and told them the situation they said she will call you today for the ATI # she didn't call me. Please don't waist your time here for fingerprinting go to a professional. Rude, unprofessional and they will give out your information to other customers. Not worth it! read more
