The staff that works here do their absolute best and I have nothing negative to say about them. However, this place is always packed. So why on earth did they think it was a smart idea to get rid of the postal drop off box? I understand maybe wanting to move it... But to remove it was the absolute most upsetting thing they could have done here. Now everybody has to fight for parking to just walk in the building to deliver a package. Post Offices sometimes have long lines but this is ridiculous. Friday afternoon, 12 ppl in line and only ONE attendant.

I go in pretty often to drop of packages and I've never had a bad experience. The employees always talk to me and are very patient.

50/50 about this location. I've had just as many long, horrible experiences as I have plain normal ones. It always seems to be busy here which is annoying and frustrating because it takes forever to. But the kiosks are very helpful and could use more of them. read more

Horrible post office The outside is always unkept with over grown weeds and grass. Trash littered everywhere and if that isn't enough they will steal your mail out of your P.O. Box I have been reporting them for mail theft for years and they'll stop for a couple of weeks and start back again. Customer service is awful all the employees are very lazy and rude with bad attitudes. I wouldn't recommend this post office to anyone if anything they should be shut down immediately and all put under investigation for mail theft. read more

Update All of my claims to USPS about the stolen issues has been closed like nothing happened even a third party has evidence of weigh. If your package has been covered by insurance, it would not be covered. Because USPS does not admit stolen issues. read more

Passport applications should not be handled in the regular line. There is a passport office located inside this Post Office and they should be handled there since passport processing and questions take much longer and hold up the entire line. That is not a great business practice when you are holding up everyone else who needs to ship a package or buy stamps. Yes, there are kiosks but not everyone is able to use them (elderly, non English speakers, etc) and if you use the kiosk it clearly states that shipping insurance is not honored if the package is lost from the time you scan in until the time they scan it in the back- putting the consumer at risk if the package is lost or damaged or a miser scan happens from those to the "acceptance" in the back. . We shouldn't have to wait in extra long lines while peoples passport applications are reviewed and changed. The main line needs to be for regular postal business only. read more

I don't understand how they managed to completely fumble two change of addresses on the span of a year and a half. Both times they send out the verifying code well past the 20 day mark and don't even apologize or give anything outside of redoing it the same way that caused this problem. Not to mention how long the wait was for one of the lines with just one person ahead of me taking at least 15 minutes. Awful, awful service! Do not come to this post office. Therye understaffed with incompetent workers who made my would be " 5 minute wait" into over an hour!! This branch is literally the joke of them all with the exception of maybe one or two staff members everyone else hates their job shows it in the quality of their work. Beware of the associate working in the package and mail pickup area. She took down my info to look for my packages and never came back I was waiting for over 30 mins until another worker came out to ask if I had gotten help. She said no one was back there looking for any packages. African American woman middle aged ... HORRIBLE experience. Went for my 11am passport appointment and the lady was closing the door at 10:58am saying she was "taking a break". I WAITED for them to come back and now their internet is down. THEN their printer was out of ink and the printer that actually worked was in an office the manager was supposedly in a meeting in so she could not go in there to make a copy of my ID and Birth certificate. Spent $260 and an hour on my lunch break for them to not make the copies and tell me I had to go make them and come back. Needs some serious help. read more

My one star absolutely doesn't reflect on staff at the Hole PO.. but the outside environment on the post office parking lot and entrance areas.. it's scary at times to park there and if not for having to pick up mail there I'd avoid going there. My package was stolen by one of there workers. They gave me service request for my package and told me that it wasn't lost and it was in their hands this is completely bullsh*t. They don't value us all I'm reporting this to the federal government for this usps to be investigated the stuff I had in that package where medications for my cancer and the management don't seem to care of this place aswell with employee "YOLANDA" or whatever her awful name her parents gave her is. This postal office is trash. Do not place mail in drive-up drop box. This week marks the 2nd time my out going mail was stolen. Also to add the drive-up drop-boxes are always left crammed full at all hours of the day. Complete trash. read more

Two summers ago I mailed two checks at the drive-up mailboxes on the property of the Hole post office. The checks never arrived to their destinations. Never mailed anything there again, until 3 weeks ago. Popped a birthday card in the drive-up box and it never arrived. This place is so chaotic disorganize, not to mention bad service I had terrible experience Withe one of the Manager name Chasity. This lady is rude I was trying to get refund she come on me saying did you came here last week I said no I did not come to claim my refund this is my first time . Then she told me to fill out this forum so she can pay me my refund and left. I had to wait for 15 minutes, Then i had to leave to go back to my work she deliberately ignored me and make me wait. I had to mail out over 100 wedding invitations. What would of took hours, due to them only being able to take 10 at a time and assist other customers. The staff tackled it all together! Giving the biggest thanks to Mo, Cynthia and Victor. Such a kind staff, which made the process smooth. read more

Lost 1 package and 3 mails within 1 month. Mails was scan delivered at the USPS post office (hole, Riverside) at 10am but we normally get our mail between 2:30 to 3:00pm, mails NEVER received until now. Went to the post office to file a report but they told me to file a complaint online (online service don't help too). You can tell this USPS employee/manager didn't not care with my mails and packages just a regular day for them, no worried or concern on his face smh. I give 5 stars customer service for the people who works at the front but management 0 star specially their manager/supervisor/lead. read more

I've had to go inside this location twice in a row and I've had a great experience each time. I've only dropped off packages and had shipping labels printed out for said packages but both visits were very pleasant. Even when there's a line it's moved pretty quickly and the employees are super friendly. Yes, there was one homeless woman sitting out front with her dog but she wasn't bothering anyone so I don't feel like it was a nuisance. Besides, it's Riverside, there's homeless everywhere. I don't expect much from the grounds because you're generally not spending much time there anyway. Fairly easy to access and parking is pretty decent. Since my mailbox has been vandalized and the process of getting it fixed is a several month endeavor , I am required to pick up my mail at this particular post office. Every time I come in there is an issue with missing mail or I get someone else's mail and I never get any resolution to help me understand what's going on. While the US mail has become somewhat antiquated, there are some things I still need the US mail service to provide. However, things get more and more frustrating and there's NEVER a manager around, and when I do call it rings and rings and rings. I work 40+ hours a week and I do not have the time to babysit people's ineptness. This is what I do every time I come in to the post office regardless of what time of day I come. Thieves working here have been caught numerous times stealing mail but nothing is done about it. Not to mention there is never any parking and the 2 employees working move so slow they make the DMV look as efficient as McDonald's. This post office is terrible. I dropped my package off in their Dropbox and it went missing. Then when I called to open a claim they told me "oh we have been having a lot of theft from our drop boxes so most likely it was stolen."Ummm....WHAT!!! And you don't think you should put a sign to make customers aware it isn't safe to drop off packages right outside your office in the USPS Dropbox where they are suppose to be secure. My package arrived at this location, and due to them losing a package of mine in may (marking it as delivered when it wasn't, and I was home and even the carrier saying they didn't bring a package at all either), I decided to go ahead and get the package from this location this time as soon as it arrived there because they have now proven they are not trustworthy. After being told my box didn't arrive at this location (even though the tracking information clearly says where it is in plain English), I got the run around, a bunch of attitude from these people which are very poorly trained in customer service, and of course left with no information and no help. The package was an international shipment and the first guy gives me attitude and says "well this is an express shipment, why didn't you just say that in the first place?" Maybe because it doesn't say that anywhere, and even better, I don't work at a post office and wouldn't know that's what I'm looking at, which is why I'm here asking for your help, did you ever think of that? What a concept, right? Then after all that nonsense, they still didn't find my box. The following day (June 11, 2021) , again like what happened a month ago, the package is marked as delivered when I was at home, and it was not. Even with all tracking information, the excuses were plentiful: this can't be the right tracking number.... it's not at this location even thought it says it is.... the carrier doesn't have it on his truck for delivery (then that means it's here, right? That's even what the last update on the tracking says). So it's just nowhere, and they're very quick to get rid of you upon your figuring out they made a mistake that they don't care about, because it's going to come out of your pocket again anyway when you get brushed aside at this location, and to add insult to injury, they give you a number where you can't talk to a person on the phone no matter what numbers you push for help with anything. The problem is that this office is unprofessional, offers zero customer assistance, gives a bunch of excuses as to why they can't seem to do their job, then say they can't help you and rush you out and pawn you off to someone else by giving you a number to some runaround USPS answering service where nobody answers no matter what you do. The employees here are absolutely awful, customer service is upon the worst I've seen, and it is impossible to talk to anyone with any common decency, especially after making a costly mistake ($100 package) at the cost of the consumer and brushing off your concerns to a very aggravating and useless automated call system that does nothing but run you in circles, gives no option that actually does anything, and hangs up on you, just like what happens when you call this location. read more

The wait time is always so long. Our group mailbox was broken into and damaged about 8 months, so I have to come to this post office everyday or every other day to get our mail. I make sure to get in like at 845 am so by 9 am I can be the fist person to get our mail. I wish it was that easy. I ring the bet at 850 to let the know that someone is waiting and again exactly at 9 am when they open. They never come on time. I've had to wait 40 min for someone to acknowledge that a long line has now formed and I have now made new friends from waiting so long. I purposely try to be the fist person so I don't have to wait but unfortunately that's never the case. Even on a good day I still wait over 10-15 min as the first person. If Lisa is working the windows for get it! However, we had our family passports done here and that woman was efficient and sweet! I do recommend getting your passports done here. read more

I pay for a PO BOX. They are supposed to deliver my mail on a daily basis but they deliver only once a week instead. I own a business and need my mail on a daily basis. Check your mail of dates posted compared to delivered. I get correspondence from my clients throughout the week with different post dates but only get my mail once a week. If you have the same issue as I, please file complaints. This place needs to shape up. read more

I wasn't going to write a review but this is now the 3rd time my mail has been bent and my sign I made ripped off and stuffed in the mail box with the mail. 5 months ago I went down to the post office because my daughter's school pictures were bent down the middle that left a Crease down the middle of each picture. The manager just said she'll have a talk with the mailman that doesn't my route and call me back to see about reimbursement, NEVER HAPPENED. Now today I get home to my sign ripped off and stuffed in my mail box with my mail bent. All I have to say is if you hate your job so much QUIT!!! read more
