Rude and obnoxious! Today, I was next to return an Amazon package, but the staff member instructed me to scan the item myself. Afterward, she told me to get back in line, email my receipt, and pay over $2 for a copy. Despite being the only customer, three staff members ignored me until the first staff member assisted me. When I asked for her name, she refused, claiming she was helping me and dismissing my rudeness comment. However, she became more pleasant with the next customer after I addressed her poor work ethics. This was my first negative experience at this facility, and I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

I went in with 12 huge heavy boxes right at closing because I was in a meeting that ran late at work. When I got there I couldn't find which Amazon QR code went with which box, especially as all my packages were the same. The store was closing and I really didn't want to bring home all the boxes again the next day so the wonderfully helpful employees stayed 50 minutes after closing to help me figure out which QR went with which package. They even explained the tracking process to me and showed me how to make other returns in the future with Amazon. The whole process didn't even cost me anything!! I even offered to buy them coffee for helping me out past hours but they refused. This will always be my go-to UPS store because I know I can count on them to be dedicated and go the extra mile for me. Love this location! read more

The ambience was horrible I came here at 9/17 around 5:20pm and there were two girls and 1 guy working at the time the guy helping me was rude and didn't care to help me with my situation I had a barcode and it wasn't working and he was just saying there's nothing he can do and rudely shoved me away to take another customers order but there was a girl with glasses and two braids that was trying to help me and see what was happening she gave me options on what I can do because I don't usually come to UPS so I loved that she helped me out the most she could but for the other two coworkers they were more interested in taking to eachother because the other girl didn't even care to look my way. I love coming to this UPS Store and I have been consistently greeted and impressed by there service here. They are consistent in pricing, and usually help me out with packages and returns. This past weekend, I went to make an Amazon return, to which I was told that I actually needed to print out my label and include a box for my product. They told me that if I wanted to avoid paying for a box, I could bring one from home and print the label myself, which I happened to be able to do at home. I love the friendly staff atmosphere and quick service, even when there is a long line. Big shoutout to all the staff for being helpful and knowledgeable! This store is a complete scam when it comes to holiday shipping. They had massive signs posted on their front desk for when packages were going to arrive. I paid for 2 day air to TX and was charged $350 for 2 packages with an expected delivery date of Friday the 30th by 3:00pm. The packages showed up 3 days later and they said it was just an expected delivery date not guaranteed. Signs posted with 1/2/3 day shipping listed with dates when they would be delivered listed all over the store. Paying an express price for a standard delivery is a complete rip off. When I called the store they said they couldn't help do anything even though their customer representative told me it would arrive before Monday. Do not waste your time shipping for priority out of this store they misplay their wording to get people to over pay for shipping that was delivered 5 days on a 2 day priority air price. read more

The workers here try their best to be quick and courteous which is appreciated. If you have to drop something off without needing a receipt, you can leave it on the counter, you don't have to wait in line :) If you have an Amzn return, it's smart to get a return receipt tracking because sometimes Amzn will say you didn't return it and your receipt will be the proof. I especially like that it's located in a shopping area so I can also get other errands done. read more

I've been before to return my cable boxes from AT&T, Dish Network or Spectrum but today was the first time I returned something from Amazon by dropping it off here. I went into the UPS Store at 3380 La Sierra Ave, Riverside on March 23, 2019 at 1:37 PM to ship a package through United States Postal Service (USPS). The person who helped me is Arisbel. The package sent was a small package in a box, and it was about 8 oz. Arisbel told me that the package would cost $10.05, which I paid for, and you can see it on the receipt (screenshots attached to this review). It is now March 29, 2019 5PM. The person that I had sent the package to hasn't received it. At this point, I doubt very much that they will receive it. When I returned today to ask what happened, Arisbel told me that she specifically remembers that the so-called package is actually a letter and that tracking is not available for a letter unless I send it certified. The receipt clearly shows that I sent a "first class package." I clearly asked her for a tracking number when I paid for my item. She even highlighted it and told me that was the tracking number. (She later said that the tracking number is a random number put in the system by default and not a real tracking number, even though she highlighted it for me.) She retorted that she thought it was a letter, and she told me "I just put a stamp on it." (Her exact words) She apologized and said that she told me that I should have sent it certified. She never suggested that, hence her response earlier to my "where is the tracking number question" was to highlight a section of the receipt and say "there it is." I paid $10.05, about twice what I would have paid the post office at 70 cents an ounce. The package was 8 ounces, so that would have been $5.60 for the postage at the post office. Instead, because she just put a stamp on it, that means I paid $10.05 for a first class stamp that costs only 55 cents, and now my package is sitting in a dead letter office, somewhere? It doesn't take a genius to conclude that something else is going on here. I have had lazy service, bad service, and misunderstandings that appear to be bad or lazy service before, but I don't see how this could be a misunderstanding. EDIT: 4/27/19. I never got the package returned for insufficient postage. The package was a product I was returning to a company for a refund. They never got it. The owner of this location never responded to this review. The owner obviously doesn't care. I'll never buy anything else here. EDIT 2: I had a second package that was an Amazon return I had given them at the same time as the first package. This place is an Amazon drop off. Amazon never got my package and they recharged me for the item, a usb splitter cable. This is the second one they screwed up. This is not an accident. read more

I had to send a Target return during a busy afternoon, and my experience with this location was excellent from the moment Seiya the manager answered the phone for directions. He was so courteous and caring that I went to him even if there was another UPS Store closer to my home. When I got there, I was even more impressed because the whole team seemed to be very happy working there and wonderful to all the customers--not just me. I like that better because then it's clear that the good service is a pattern, not an exeption for me. Bianca is the one who took care of my actual return, and amazed me with her hardworking, professional demeanor. I have had consistently amazing experiences at the UPS store on La Sierra in Riverside. I dealt with Emmy today and she was just incredible. I had lost the receipt to an item I had shipped to Germany, As im aware, due to Covid, staffing is limited. When I called, Emmy took my information and sayed she would call once she assisted the patrons in her store as she was alone. True to her word, Emmy called me back within 15 minutes, searched for my receipt in her system and gave me all the information needed to find my wayward gift. Thank ypu Emmy! Just FYI they close at 4 on Sundays. Yelp says 5:00. I was parked outside at 3:50. I sat in car waiting because there was a women outside waiting in line to go inside. At 4:00 exactly I got out of my car figuring she would go in soon. At this point I still thought they closed at 5. The guy inside motioned to us that the store was closed. So I looked at signed posted and it clearly said 4pm. I get it "covid time". I gather my stuff to leave and the guy comes out to tell us they're closed. I have heard some very bad reviews regarding this store. My family stopped going to this store due to lack of customer service. Went to the store today to do an Amazon return. Diana was the only one in the store. There was a long line of customers. She processed us all in a friendly and professional manner. She made each customer feel like we have her undivided attention. She was very efficient and quick. There was no air conditioner in the store but even then because of her customer service and making us all see that she is doing her very best to process our needs quickly no one was upset. Walked in and no one else was in the store. Of course I said hello, but no response back. She looked at me and continued to appear to hate her job. I said, "I'm here to make a return" and as I was pulling the return label from my email, she said "No, you need that printed out." I wouldn't of cared that I was told different, that they would be able to scan it from the email, but the issue here is the attitude and no customer service. This morning, I attempted to assist my mother in dropping off a laser that was being returned to the manufacturer. The return charge was already covered by the manufacturer so all we had to do was seal it and drop it off at "ANY" UPS store. We walked into this particular "UPS store" at approx. 10:00-10:15 am and I believe the name of the young girl working alone at the counter was Shanelle (or something similar). She rudely informed us that they do not ship pre-paid accounts and we would have to pay for shipping regardless. My mother politely asked if Shannel could elaborate a bit in hopes that we can find a place nearby that could accommodate us. In a robotic tone, Shanelle simply continued to repeat, "We don't ship to accounts". I then chimed in asking if she knew of a place that could help us. She just shortly replied, "Nope"! I then sarcastically blurted, "You really don't know anything, do you"? She politely responded, "You may leave now". I then asked for her name in which I believe she said it was Shanelle as she reached over highlighting the names on a business card smugly boasting, "My parents own the store". Upon leaving this store, I immediately checked Yelp to see if there was anyone else who had a similar experience. I noticed only two other reviews; one by Wendy B that was extremely positive, and then one by Suyapa U. Suyapa's experience seemed to be far more believable than Wendy's based on my experience. I find rudeness by customer service workers to be unacceptable. And in a case like this where the rudeness comes from an employee that is locked in due to nepotism, I can only laugh it off. I have every intention of contacting her parents to give them a first hand account of our experience at their store, and also let them know that I was smart enough to get the incident on video in which I will be more than willing to place on YouTube. There's plenty of UPS stores locally. I HIGHLY SUGGEST anyone with shipping needs AVOID STORE 5671. Also, call first to make sure that whatever UPS store you intend on using can accommodate your needs. The only positive of this experience.....There was no line. I rarely go to UPS stores and every time I go I remember why. This one in particular. The prices are way too high for just a small box they charge $7.00. Also If you bring something in to drop it off they charge you for tape. Amazon returns say to drop your packages off here. Amazon says UPS will package your items at the UPS store and ship them off for free. they won't do it here. Be careful with your Amazon returns even though Amazon says that they will package and ship your item for free if you bring in the qr code..... they won't. read more
