I come here a lot for shipping needs and amazon returns. For the most part I get great service and noone is ever rude to me. No matter what time it is I feel like it is always pretty busy, which is good for them. The other day I dropped a fedex envelope in the the drop box but when I got back to my office I realized I forgot to stick the label on it. I called staples and the first lady I spoke to was rude and unhelpful, she put me on hold then Lupe picked up. I told her my issue and she assured me that she would let the Fedex driver know and she would hold my envelope for me. I called later after 4 and she did find the envelope and held it for me. I went back to the store to stick the label on and put it back in the fedex box! It's very rare for employees to go out of there way to be helpful or show they care. This location has a Party City and another store combined within it. My only issue is there are no disabled carts to drive. My mom needed ink for her printer. She can hardly walk to the car because she's going through chemotherapy. Staples doesn't supply anything to help her do her shopping. She still has a business to run. That really sucked. I've been having printer issues at home so i was told that Staples offered printing services. I started coming to this store as of May of this year. When i got there the printers already had the printing information needed. It was a bit confusing initially so I asked for help. That's when i met Ilene. I don't know how long she's been there for but she was very helpful! Since then and every time i go whenever I need her help. She provides Great Customer service! Had not been to the Norco location for some time I went there today to drop off several Amazon returns. When I walked in, no one greeted me. I couldn't find a sign that said where the drop off point was. When I approached a couple of young girls who were talking to each other and asked them where the checkout for Amazon returns was, they currently replied. It's in the front of the store where the signs are. When I went to the front of the store. There was a small, very small sign that said Amazon returns. Still I was never helped by a Staples employee. After I turned in the Amazon returns, I looked in the store for something else that I needed. There was no one around to help. Customer service there is so poor. I don't plan on ever going back. read more

The merchandise Supervisor, Charmaine, isn't honoring Staples Guaranteed Price match policy & is instructing her employees to follow suit. After showing her Walmart's & Staples.com price, she refused to honor the match saying the sku needs to be identical despite it being the exact same product. Skus are unique to each store & nowhere on Staple's Price Match Guarantee Committement does it say that the sku needs to match. I had to drive to Eastvale where they honored the Staples Guarantee without incident. Service like this is why this store has a dismal 2.9 rating on YELP. GM, Ben, get your store in order and retrain your staff on service. Teach them not to deviate from their own policy. read more

I just wanted to say that I ordered and picked up my Dads Memorial "Poster Board" for his service. I went to Staples in the city Norco, I had the best customer service from Amber guiding me how to order online. Also sometimes there are discounts on the website so look out for a promo code which will make it a better deal to use at checkout online or at the store. I also spoke to Mari who called me to upload a better resolution so the picture comes out more clear. When I arrived there to pick it up, Nydia explained the poster board material and made sure it was mounted on the board and they put an extra gloss layer on the top to give it a good finish. She was so helpful going above and beyond. Here's how I made my picture a better resolution. If you have Photoshop program on your computer I went to the top menu "Image / Image Size / Resolution Type 300 / OK ; Then go back to top menu "Filter / sharpen or sharpen more". This will make your picture look clearer. If you don't have photoshop you can use an App. I used the app "Pixelcut" https://www.pixelcut.ai/t/upscaler. Once I uploaded my photo and chose the "Image upscaler" / x4", My image came out much clearer the photo and the words that I typed on the image was not pixelated anymore. If Mierya doesn't like handling simple returns, maybe customer service isn't the right role for her. I was in line for an Amazon return and was just waiting for my app to finish loading. It loaded before another customer arrived, yet she still managed to help 3-4 people ahead of me before anyone came to assist. Another employee even admitted he wasn't sure how to process an Amazon return, but he still did great and finished quickly. Other customers even pointed out that I had been waiting, but she didn't seem to care. I've worked in customer service, even in a leadership role, and I never ignored a customer like that. I made an Amazon return and asked about recycling the Amazon envelopes. The associate that helped us was sweet and said we can put them in the recycling cart at the end. My mom had a few she wanted to recycle so I grabbed them and put them in the bin. I proceeded to take the label off of one and no one said anything like oh wait we don't take these....... Until we were walking out and the short woman with the straight black hair said we don't take these and grabbed them all dramatically and shoved them in the trash in front of me. I said I can take that but was told you recycle them and she replied to would tell her fellow employee. Needless to say this woman was RUDE as hell! I was not trying to dump my trash on her but trying to consciously recycle these envelopes. She didn't even give me a chance to take them back. Can't say I will be back to this location. read more

It never fails, every time I go into the store there are no people to assist customers. I was there looking for someone to assist me and I had to wait until someone became available. All this is unsatisfactory! The manager tells me that they are shorthanded today, but they are shorthanded every time I go there. Also, when customers purchase copies and someone ask you if there is a sleeve you can provide so my copies don't bend, you don't tell customers to go down that aisle and maybe buy something! What! I just printed 30 copies and YOU don't know if there are bags you provide!!!! Do better! Don't just work like a robot provide the service you were hired to provide. I went into this location to make a few copies. The machine scanned everything and when it came out it was totally wrong. I don't know what I did, but it wasn't the right thing. Then came Veronica, she goes by Vero, came in and saved the day. On her first attempt it was giving her problems. She worked some computer magic by resizing things so they printed properly. Came to Staples for passport pictures. I had walked in and was serviced immediately, I might have chosen the right time to go which was around 1pm on a Saturday. The store was semi-busy so I was very pleased when I was told I could be serviced right away. The gal who assisted me was willing to take a couple more photos if I didn't like the first set but didn't need to because the camera they used was perfect! For 2 pictures, it was about $17 including tax. I waited about 10 minutes to have them developed and ready to go. Store was clean and staff were welcoming and friendly. Customer service is beyond non-existent! 45 minutes on the phone with no answers. 10 minutes giving all the information to an employee, then on hold. Another employee comes on the phone and it is a COMPLETE start over. Then 10 to 12 minutes later, the same thing happens (on a Friday night). I give up and try again on Saturday morning. Same thing happens. The second person was worthless and a REAL KAREN! It is just simpler to purchase from Amazon! Could not get a delivery status. I went in for an Amazon return today, Tuesday, January 6th. I didn't catch her name, but there was an elderly woman who was at the cashier who assisted me with my return. She was up front when I entered the store and walked toward the line and she continued to walk back-and-forth at the register area without even acknowledging that I was there. Once she decided to acknowledge me, all she said was " QR code" prompting me to show her the QR code for my return. I had a few returns and on one of them the package was open and she proceeded to scan it and throw it in the box. I informed her that that the package was open and she said that it all went in the same box anyway. I told her that I just wanted to make sure nothing fell out because that return had 4 items in it, to which she continued on scanning the rest of my items and completely ignored what I said. When I was done, I put my Amazon box in the recycle cart and she told me that if I wanted to leave it there that I needed to break down the box. I looked over at the cart to see that there were several other boxes that were not broken down, which I pointed out to her, and she proceeded to say that I could not leave it unless I broke it down. I understand that working at Staples is probably not a dream job per se, but to be so passive aggressive that a customer can visibly see how miserable you are is concerning. I don't often find myself leaving reviews because I like to give people the benefit of the doubt and I realize that everyone has their bad days, but the experience was just so offputting that I felt compelled to write about it. Hopefully management can provide some more quality assurance and customer service training, moving forward, at least to this employee. read more

I have been impressed with the staff at this location. When dropping off an Amazon Return a couple days ago Antoinette went above and beyond to help me. The QR Code I printed wasn't working and at the worst time my phone died to pull it up. While still helping the next customers Antoinette plugged my phone in to get it back up and running, and got me out the door within a few minutes. The store is well organized and stocked. The staff at the print center are very kind and patient. My only complaint is that they don't carry mont blanc anymore. Also, fyi; they have vellum paper here. Vellum predates papyrus. It's the stretched dried skin of a sheep. Ended up waiting over an hour just to be told the "express process, is NOT express" The Print guy was very rude and distasteful. I went in here to really just look around after classes because I wanted to kill some time while waiting for my ride. I was followed around the store and I heard who I assumed to be the manager reporting what I was doing to somebody over his mic. I get stores being attentive to the possibility of anybody stealing but being practically stalked by the employees and my every move being announced pretty much right behind me is not a good look for a company and not at all welcoming. Worst staples I have ever been. Staples should pay the workers more because the workers are barely helping the customers. I went to buy a pen, and the workers were not helpful at all. When one of the workers brought the pen from the storage, the pen I was gonna buy had a big, brown stain on the package. How can you possibly show a customer a worst choice of package? I went to purchase notebooks on sale for $0.50 for students that can't afford their school supplies. An employee who was off the clock (I heard her tell another employee she needed to go clock in after she spoke with me) took it upon herself to run up to the cashier helping me and let him know I can only buy ten and not to let me do another transaction. I asked the manager and she said there was a limit so I asked if I can just come back later or tomorrow then and she said, "If you want." I came back later to purchase another 10. Again, the same lady came to help me and rang me up. I told her I'd see her tomorrow for more and she said, "No, you can't buy anymore! She [the manager] did that as a one time courtesy!" I just replied, "I don't know why you care so much." (I had told them I'm buying them for my students and had a school shirt on and my ID even. I don't even think that woman has a right to say I can't come back tomorrow. That doesn't make sense. But, since they wanted to make a hassle for me, I figure I'd reciprocate. Hey corporate, what is your policy for employees helping customers when they are clocked out and/or what is the policy for taking their breaks on the floor? I'm pretty sure that's illegal. You should probably be more concerned about that than someone buying underprivileged kids a notebook. read more
