If you have an important package that is time sensitive and needs to be delivered overnight DO NOT DROP IT OFF HERE. Incredibly unreliable, arrived before the pickup time of 5pm and the attendant promised me it would be picked up but it was left behind. This was an important business package so now I'm out thousands of dollars because my team can't work without the material and is waiting for this package. When I picked up my package the attendant asked if I was sure Fedex hadn't picked up and try to deflect the mistake from their staff. Incompetent, unreliable and COMPLETELY overpriced. I found Postal Annex on yelp, the reviews were a mix of good and bad. I had to give it a shot due to being in a crunch and wow was I impressed with the owner Bryan's customer service. Bryan went above and beyond to make sure I was taking care of and went out of his way to make sure my certified letter would be delivered ASAP without up selling me on a faster service. I had to get some documents notarized asap and checked out the closest places to my new home. PostalAnnex+ less than a mile from home, great hours, $10 Notary Fee per page, score! I was expecting the shipping to cost an arm and a leg and was expecting to have to stand in the dreaded line at the post office forever again, but no, they use all carriers for shipping and could not only notarize my document quickly and efficiently, they also shipped it off for an additional $3 and I was out and done in less than 10 minutes! This was my first time using their services and I had a great experience. I dropped off about 50 wedding invitations that needed postage and mailing. The woman who helped me was friendly and quick. When I walked in, there were 5 other people in line and I almost walked right back out since I was in a hurry. She moved everyone through quick and I wasn't there longer than 10 minutes. After leaving, I remembered that one of my envelopes is going international. I called and she pulled it and said she would take care of it. She didn't make me come back and charge additional postage. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Today I needed documents printed in color with professional quality, so I used the "file upload" tab on their website to send in the document. I receieved a confirmation email, so I called a few minutes later to see when it would be ready. The employee said she hadn't receieved any documents through email, so I told her I had uploaded them and she had no idea what I was talking about -- they have never used that to print for customers. She was going to call the owner and get back to me. I hadn't heard back after 15 mins, so I looked up the email myself and sent it to pa77@postalannex.com as it was listed on their website. I called again and she still hadn't gotten any documents. I told her what email I had sent it to and she told me that email was incorrect. I needed to send it to postalannex2621@gmail.com WHICH IS NOWHERE ON THEIR WEBSITE. The cherry on top was when I got there, I waited 20 minutes and was never able to get my document printed. It opened on their computer, but their printer wasn't working. The owner was not calling back. UPS store off Foothill is worth the extra 5 minute drive. I won't ever be returning here or any Postal Annex location. How does this place stay in business? I shouldn't have to go on a treasure hunt to figure out how to get you to take my money. Like so many below who have experienced the problem with older lady and prices so did My husband and I today as well. We had to get some papers notarized today and The Older Lady at the counter seem very unfriendly and rude from the time we walked in.(FYI: I think she hates her job) An older man comes in with his service animal, I don't know if he worked there or owns the place, but he goes to the back. I had no idea that his dog was a service animal and I happen to have a serious phobia for dogs due to past events in my childhood. The older lady seem as if she was offended and that I was causing her grieve for being scared she was in fact very rude to me and also had an attitude. I wish i could give them negative stars. It was last minute that we needed to print two pictures. Went to them. The older lady was either physically sick or mentally sick but she apparently didnt want to be there, or she had a lot of attitude. I asked her if we can have both pictures printed on the same page. She goes, i dont kbow if we can do that. I was like ,if you allow me i can help. No response. Then someone came to her rescue. I had to tell her about printing two pictures on the same page as well. Again, no response. Then the pictures were eventually printed on normal recycled paper. The quality were low ( what would expect from a scan/copy/print printer ). Then the younger one asked the older one, how much to charge. The older one responded, charge for two color pictures, she said but its one page print, then the older one mumbled something . Eventually i was charged $3.75 for one freaking low quality print. They say you shouldn't open a shop if you dont know how to smile. Now i understand it. read more

I asked for help mailing popsockets. I was told putting them in a white envelope and using NONMACHINABLE stamps would keep the popsockets safe. Welp...I mailed my package and guess what they got machined and the people I mailed the package too didn't get their popsocket. Those popsockets are $9 a piece! I went back to postal annex to explain the situation, showed them pictures of what happened, and I asked if they could make it right. The person working at the time handed me her business card, wrote down my number and told me she couldn't do anything until she spoke with the owner. She never got back to me. I honestly don't t recommend using this place. They up charge, they're slow, and when they make mistakes they don't put the customer first and make it right. read more

I went into this place expecting to pay about $20 to express a letter and after I was charged $49 I was told it's because I now live in Cali and everything is more expensive here compared to Florida... so when I went home my husband checked the rates and low and behold it should have costed me $18. I did call the next day to ask why I was charged so much and why I was not offered anything close to this rate and the owner told me he did offer it to me and charged me what he needs to charge me to keep the lights on and would not work with me at all and said I made my choice to pay what I did. Shame on this company for taking advantage of people and overcharging like this. I understand needing to make some profit but this is uncalled for. read more

Had the same experience as Lianne down below. My wife had a package that needed to be shipped and this place quoted her close to $50 to ship. When she came home and told me what she paid, I couldn't understand why because I've mailed similar sized / weighted packages for less than half that! This store preys on the uninformed and takes advantage of you not understanding postal rates and options. They don't even give you options! I myself went to mail a basic letter that was somewhat thick but nothing that would constitute a package rate. When I handed the letter to the lady working , she quoted me $6-$7 to mail. When I asked why she stated the letter was too thick to be considered regular mail and she would have to ship at the package rate. I told her no thanks, went to the post office, and mailed it off for the price of 2 stamps!! I am all about supporting local businesses, but not when you take advantage of your customers and seem to lack ethics and integrity. Do not rip off your customers. You made a quick buck off a few of us, but never again will you do that. read more

I haven't had a problem shipping anything from here yet. As long as it isn't a large package. What I have had a problem with is their "Livescan" service. Online it lists that they provide this service well until some time in the evening. I checked online before I went, but when I went the older lady who works there said the guy who does them went home at 2pm. At LEAST a couple hours before it said online. The lady called the guy and asked when he'd be in the next day and so I came in 30 minutes from said time. Again... The lady said he went home early because he wasn't feeling well. On top of that I had asked the woman in effort to be polite "Is the gentleman who does the livescans in today?" And her first response was "He's a man." I don't see why she thought it was appropriate to say that. Don't bother coming here for livescans. read more
