I've supported this small business a handful of times just because I'm new to the area, but unfortunately my recent experiences have been disappointing. The service feels very inconsistent... and seems to be price changes every time. There doesn't seem to be a clear standard or fair policy in place. Businesses should treat all customers with the same respect and fairness, no matter who they are. I really wanted to continue supporting this shop, but unless the customer service improves and policies become consistent, I cannot recommend it to friends in the area. read more

I cannot even begin to explain how AMAZING Send and Receive Mail is. The services they offer go way beyond a private mail box. For one, I can go on vacation and forward my mail to them. They offer a service similar to the Post Office where they will take photo shots of your important mail (not junk flyers etc...) and send it to you via email the end of each weekday. This service is a life saver it gives you to opportunity to have someone you designate go pick it up if it needs to be handled or they will keep your mail until you return. I've been working for someone who rents a box here for over a year and a half now and every day these girls have smiles on their faces, and are the highlight of my day! If your mailbox is getting broken into this is the place to come, because your mail will be safe and they are open good hours and they provide other services too! Like notary, or copies made. There's always fun things to buy inside even cards and decorations for your home. I feel like these girls help pull Woodcrest together in an unusual way that makes it feel like the small town community that Woodcrest really is . You can even call and ask if they have mail so you don't have to make the drive in the rain! I just did that today for the first time in a year and a half and that's what made me realize these girls are always here for us . I'm glad Woodcrest has such a nice, friendly place to go and keep your mail safe! read more

I had some bulky items I needed to ship out of state, and I had no idea how to pack them. After reading some reviews, I called Send & Receive and a very nice young woman over the phone assured me they would be able to help me out. So I showed up with my stuff the next morning with zero packaging. The woman who helped me was just amazing. She found the perfect sized boxes and wrapping for my items. 6 days ago, i droped of fed ex packages. the store say driver picked them up, but as of today fed ex driver never entered them into the system. this manager and staff do not seem too concerned with my stolen packges. when i asked did, they ask the driver about it she seemd vague and gave me no clear answer of what he said. i have gone to them because they are not contacting me with anything. not good customer service, pretend at least to act concerned. the missing packages are missing between this store or the fed ex driver. read more

We are so lucky to have this place and these people! Always a kind smile and the best service. Every time I go, it's as though I am the only customer of the day. Yes, they add some cost onto the mailing services, but do you want to drive down to the Chicago post office or the Arlington post office where there are long lines and perfunctory service, (if you're lucky)? I am incredibly sad that Send & Receive isn't protecting or caring for its customers in response to Covid-19. A day before the stay at home order went into effect, the staff weren't wearing masks, nor did they put one on when I entered the business - only when I asked her to wear a mask did they and it felt that was begrudgingly. Wearing masks in a business is a state mandate and it shows caring and consideration for other people - their policy of not wearing masks is disgraceful. I felt completely disrespected and unsafe. I will never go there again. read more

Gets the job done, staff are really friendly and helpful. I have gone here to make copies, to send out mail, get stamps, that sort of stuff. There's usually little to no wait time and prices are very affordable. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because the staff can be a little chatty amongst themselves or other customers and not give their full attention to the person in front of them.
