I came in to return an item after the manufacturer instructed me to ship it through UPS using their account. Before I could even pull up the return information on my phone, the associate immediately became dismissive and told me, "We don't do that. We aren't UPS." I tried explaining that I was simply following the manufacturer's instructions, but she repeated the same statement in an increasingly rude tone and offered no attempt to understand what I was trying to accomplish. When I asked where an actual UPS hub was located, instead of providing basic customer service, she told me to "Google it on your phone." There is a difference between not being able to help and not wanting to help. I understand if this location couldn't process my return. What I don't understand is the complete lack of professionalism, patience, or courtesy. Customer service isn't just about having the right answer--it's about how you communicate it. A simple explanation and a helpful suggestion would have taken 30 seconds. Instead, I was treated like an inconvenience from the moment I walked in. This location is usually friendly and helpful, which is why this interaction stood out so much. The associate I dealt with today could benefit from a refresher on basic customer service. Being knowledgeable is important. Being respectful is mandatory.

Holy snail where to begin…read more....... Ok, if you want expensive, slow, overpriced shipping this is your place. Today I paid the idiot tax and I'm not proud of it. Issue number one: I was charged $5 for a box. It wasn't a great big, honking, box but a 3in by 3in by 3in box (about the size of your hand). Apparently it was special cardboard Issue number two: I had a package that was less than a pound, .74 to be exact and they charged me $30. Now, I know what you're thinking "he's shipping this to China". Nope, I was shipping it one state over. So thirty dollars to ship a package of less than a pound one state. Spectacularly expansive. UPS made all their profit on my back today. Last issue the actual service: now you'd think that a platinum box price and expensive would equal overnight shipping or some extra dope new technology in delivering packages......... you'd be wrong. Not only was this package expensive to ship the material expensive to buy but the service is guaranteed to be slow. Try a week to move this package ONE STATE. SICK. SO TODAY I PAID THE IDIOT TAX SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO. Learn your lesson from me and skip this store unless you absolutely have to go here or you like being robbed. Cause here at this UPS store the good ole cali special is in full effect........ maximum price, no value, and minimum effort.
