I returned a few personal and Amazon items over the years with no issues. This particular time I brought back an Amazon package in the original package I got from Amazon. The lady/clerk/rep accepted it. Got the receipt. It took 2 weeks before I received my refund. I have been to other UPS stores with my returns and received my refund same day Was this poor service directed solely towards me? Why is this particular UPS store so different they process a return so poorly? What training did they miss in regards to returns? If this rep knew there was going to be an issue ahead, why didn't they just say so? I just go to a different UPS store and avoid this Lasselle St and Iris Ave store like covid19, SARS and plague. Those store needs to update it's policies and procedures. I have the same dumb issues trying to return Amazon items where they cannot scan the barcode that I'm required to print out because they say its too small. Mind you, its printed on the same size label as the normal Amazon labels ( and im not paying extra for your store to do it).. HOWEVER if I visit the UPS store on Eucalyptus, they are able to punch in the UPS numbers (and my returns get processed and arrive just fine). I'm tired of hearing " WE CANT" when I KNOW it CAN be done.... Store manager/ owner, FIGURE IT OUT because it's super inconvenient to have to drive out of my way to go to the SAME type of STORE to have the SAME SERVICE completed... with smiles mind you! read more

I went to print out a bunch of papers they didn't give me the option of double-sided or single-sided. They printed them all out single-sided. Then when they priced me out, I was told $29 and when I showed them a coupon they added a email charge, which was never disclosed to me Which pretty much voided my coupon. Making my charge over $30 And I was never told about the email charge but the only way to print there is by emailing them what you need printed.. if they would've gave me the option of double-sided it would've been half the price .I will not return again. The bad with the packages they're terrible with Customer service. They're bad with everything that weird dude with the weird vibes with gender crisis questioned me about my package my contents. I revealed that they were luxury brand clothing long story short the package never made it. It says your package has been lost. Long story short, they lost my package. Now I'm down $130 dollars. I had gone to drop off a Nike package. When I had gone the line was long. I didn't mind it but I would like to mention this now. The employees were also dry, not showing any type of welcoming environment. Days go by without hearing back from Nike about my return. I found it odd because they typically get it quickly, I call Nike and they told me that they haven't received a thing and that I should get in contact with the store that I dropped them off at. I then call this store and they had told me to call UPS customer service and I said "Okay no problem. Thanks." Long story short, I go back and forth between UPS customer service and Nike for about 6 times. At the end, UPS customer service told me that "the distribution centers never received a package", that "the package never left the store". I truly do not now what happened to my package, but to me, the employees did not do a great job at making sure that my package got to the right place. Which sucks because like I said before, I am now down $130. This has been my store for quite some time and now that I had this issue I may have to look for another store. This is one of my Favorite UPS stores to do Amazon returns at or for any shipping needs outside of post office traffic. Customer service is STELLAR!!! 5 Stars!!! They always close at their posted closing time, are helpful, polite & are genuinely personable. I'm shocked at the low star reviews, most of them seem to complain about the price of printing a sheet of paper--look the price is the consequence you pay for not handling your returns appropriately at home before arriving to the store. Don't waist consumers's time with your lack of return knowledge. If you can shop on Amazon, you surely can learn how to pack a return & print out labeling if needed. Don't blame the service reps for your infancy in Amazon protocol process & if you need a receipt-ask for one. Anyways LOVE this store & the employees that work here. I visited this location the other day coming in hot. I had just been informed that the live scan technician at another location had mistaken a 2 for a 7 on my forms which completely invalidated my scans. This meant I would have to go out and pay again for brand new copies and would have to start my fingerprinting process all over again; so you can image how heated I was when I walked in there. Well, my fiesty attitude and negative disposition did not stop Isaiah from greeting me with a smile. His conversational skills and happy demeanor turned my frown upside in a matter of minutes. He was extremely rude from the moment he started speaking to me. I usually get good customer service. But today, I was told that they would charge me $2 to drop off a USPS package. To me, that's really odd. I was also told that they do not provide receipts for USPS drop offs. The no receipt policy I can accept, it's like dropping off a package at a mailbox. But to charge money to drop off a package is just so absurd to me. They allowed for those drop offs before and provided a receipt too. But this is a franchise and this is their chosen practice. Mario was quick, informative and made sure I had the options explained of how quick I wanted my package there. I usually have excellent service whenever i return a package to amazon, but there was a time last year around early november, when i had to ship a package to a friend in the philippines. i totally get that the shipping would cost me $460 - thats including insurance. but i know for a fact that i wrapped it good in a brown box but for some reason they said that they have to use their "own" box bec. my box wont do. ughhh, its a bit odd that i had to use their own box and had to spend $11 + their insurance. they probably strategize that to earn more money on their side but i know as much as i wanted to be cheap, but i already expect that i'll be paying more to ship it internationally and i know how sketchy customs would be in the philippines and its also tornado season. i just went, f*ck it, i hope my friend will cherish my gift for this lol.. i know people would just randomly steal your package if it wasnt insured anyway. and also that when you ship a package that cost almost $500 on regular mail to that country, it'll be non-existant, trust me, i've had my mail stolen sent to my friends there a million times and its so disappointing but i know i must be a total idiot for paying off $460 to ship it but at least my package was sent there safely and such a short time. read more

We handed the package to the associate. We bought the padded envelope to send the phone back. She said she would take care of it and we went on our merry way (We were in a hurry so we forgot to get a scanned receipt and yes I'm still kicking my self in the butt for that error in judgement). Next day the phone is lost and of course UPS isn't taking responsibility at first. In a matter of hours we've lost hundreds of dollars. UPS initially said the investigation couldn't move forward because there was no scanned receipt. Something happened to that phone from one day to the next. It was literally hours as we had dropped the phone off in the evening after their delivery times. It couldn't have magically disappeared that very next morning. It didn't register anywhere in UPS tracking system. Always get receipts!! (UPS paid us for the phone after a weeks long ordeal) read more

So they rent their computers for $3.50 for 15 minutes. I decided to use my data from my phone to email the UPS store what I wanted printed, which was just one black and white page. I was told it would be $4.50 for one copy. The reason I was given for the price was, "because it was sent to us." My data, but UPS wants to charger their computer rental price, even though I sent it from my phone! Another reason for the lack of stars was that the young lady was very condescending from when I walked in. She treated me like I was dirt on her shoes. This place sucks. Don't come here, drive a bit further, but stay away from this place. read more

If I could give them no stars I would! Got a notification that my package was delivered on Thursday, and went to pick up the package on Saturday. They then told me package wasn't here but they would check in the back, tracking number was provided after 2 minutes of looking they then came back and told me that my package is not at there store, and processed to tell me that my package and others are in the dental office next door. Amazon refunds the money (happens when the tracking number is scanned), then claims weeks later the item was never received and re-charges my account. Employees stealing items? Came in to pick up a package that was "Available" under the tracking number that was provided from the sender. An employee name CARLOS stated rudely that the package was not in the store, he does not know where it is and he cannot do anything about it. After that, he then added that he has other things to do and walked to the back of the store. My partner called the UPS corporate regarding the issue, corporate stated that CARLOS was the one who sign the package. As we asked him to speak with them, all he could answer was, "I dont know, its not here, what do you want me to do?!" We were baffled and appalled by his rude customer service. There was another employee name Arielle who was trying her best to stay in the front to cater any questions that we had. I requested to speak with Carlos, he came back inside the store rudely and did not want to keep eye contact while I was trying to talk to him. After suggesting him to keep an eye contact, it escalated to the point where Carlos gave more attitude and his response was, " why did you not pick up your package sooner?!. At this point I felt MORE DISRESPECTED. He could not even admit to his fault and he has the nerve to be rude and have more attitude. CARLOS was asked by a coworker to help the other customer. During his transaction with another customer, he mentioned to the customer that he will not charge her with the bag of rubber band that shes holding. Within few seconds later he handed her a piece of paper and said to give him a positive review of how he helped her today because he has been working there for so long. WHAT KIND OF A PITY ACT WAS THAT?! I asked to speak with the manager. Andrew (manager) was nice enough to understand and calmed the situation. Arielle profusely apologize for the situation as well. Is this how customer are treated when the packages are lost by the same person who signed it in the first place? CARLOS is RUDE! Does not know how to handle customers. Shameful. read more

Just left the ups store not to long ago to return my books to amazon and was helped by the young lady working the opening shift on 12/15/18. Normally I always go to the town gate location when I'm passing by on my home but today I went to the one by house and the service was very mediocre unfortunately. At the other place they are always so welcoming and greeted with a hello and a smile but not here. She also couldn't box up my stuff for what ever reason now if this is something that ups does not do I was totally unaware because again at the other location they ALWAYS box everyone's orders for them with no problem. I asked "why not here" and she goes "they're corporate" I said ooooh ok great to know. So I'll never be back to this location again and by the looks of the other previously written reviews I don't think those people will either. Hopefully it gets better. read more

This place is terrible. After asking how much a box would cost to ship a return item, the woman left to grab a box that was WAY BIGGER than I needed, started cutting it down to size?, placed my item inside, taped it all up and then rang-me-up... ALL WITHOUT TELLING ME THE PRICE!.. Safe to say it was WAY MORE than I was comfortable paying... but I felt obligated to pay for it being that she'd already destroyed the box and taped my item up in it... I called and asked if I could bring my own box in and get the item back, along with a refund and the guy said no, since the box was already "touched"... I told him that I asked for the price before she even touched it and then proceeded to cut it down still without telling me the price... he didn't care, all he said was that he would tell his staff to not do that anymore... such a joke. read more

I'm just curious why I was charged $2 when the post office comes there everyday to deliver mail. I would imagine at that time they would then give the postal worker all of the mail. This was my first time visiting a UPS store and it was fantastic! I had a better experience here than at any post office I've ever been to. I rented some textbooks for some summer classes through Amazon and I almost forgot to return them. I printed out the label Amazon provided and had them package my textbooks for me. The guy that helped me out was very quick, friendly and professional. He packaged my textbooks with ease and had me on my way in no time! I also had a few questions about shipping out packages unrelated to Amazon textbooks and he answered all of my questions very thoroughly. A few days go by and the package comes back to me! So now it's late and to top it off the box had no tape or bubble wrap inside. They charged me for nothing.
