Customer service, it is Monday 6/ 9/25 4:20 pm. I go into the office depot on 23961 sunnymead Blvd. Moreno Valley. I asked for help at the help center line to print out some tickets to an event. The workers have bad attitudes. I've been here lots of times they always been helpful no problem. But this dude not wearing a name tag has a bad attitude so I ask for the manager. The manager is pleasant he helps me. He go right behind the counter and get the tickets. His name is Diago. I ask Diego what's the guy name who was not trying to help me and he had a very smart mouth. He tells me Cole. You guys need to let Cole go home he don't want to be there his actions and attitude tell you that. Then I notice a few not wearing name tags. Its so they treat the customers like shit and no one can tell on them. So I ask the manager why aren't they wearing name tags. I know that's policy, I been in customer service over 20 yrs. No complaints on the manager. But higher up need to come check this store out some people need write ups. read more

There was a kid working at the print station. And I asked if there was any way he could check me out because there was no one available to help at the registers. His response was "well are you printing? The cashier is standing there. I can see him" with clear attitude and passive aggressive. This is THE poorest managed office supply store in the city. AVOID at all costs. I stopped by twice to simply mail a FED-EX envelope. The first I waited in line for 35 minutes since only one checkout station was open. Meanwhile six employees stood chatting and laughing in one of the aisles while customers waited to be helped. I finally had to leave without ever being helped. The following morning I returned and after logging in on the in- store computer I was told there was just a five minute wait. After five minutes I asked how much longer the wait would be and I was told, "Uhhh....our Fed Ex guy didn't come in today so there's no one to help you." If I wouldn't have asked those dimwit employees would have allowed me to stand there another thirty minutes before one of them took time out of their day to inform me. We then drove to a mailbox store and the envelope was scanned and mailed in less than thirty seconds. If anyone calls Office Depot looking for me....I won't be there. HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!! Ridiculous to admit that currently it seems to be forced to deliver "Damaged" packages. I imagine that when you apply for a job at FedEx, they require "Masters Degree" in package damage. For the last 5 years, every package received by FedEx has come with a hole, or with a corner of the package wrinkled from having been hit, wet, etc. etc. (no exceptions). To make matters worse and a big surprise for me, it was the last package scheduled to arrive at its destination (my house) on Monday, I had that day off so that was perfect, but Monday passed and the package never arrived, because Tuesday I would arrive home very late, I changed the package to having it hold at Office Depot (FedEx office here in Moreno Valley, CA), to pick it up in person, it was not until Wednesday that I was able to go and pick it up in person, the very kind lady asked me for my identification, I gave her my driver's license, when she saw my ID she made a strange gesture and immediately called the manager, the manager came saw it and then told me - this time we are going to give you the package, but next time the address in your license and the destination address have to match. He took complete ownership of the situation and I knew that we were in good hands and the error would be corrected. This store is useless. The printing service is super slow and their selection is terrible. I went there for ink cartridges last month and they gave me the wrong cartridges. I lost my receipt and decided to try again. Second attempt and they are pretty much sold out of all the ink. After spending 30 mins in line waiting for assistance to print my documents I gave up. It wasn't even like they were busy. Maybe 5 people in the store. I went to the local FedEx and finished my job in about 5 mins. read more

I don't like the set up. I ordered online order was "complete" I spoke to a woman prior to going to make sure my order was done she said yes and it was there. When I arrived I see signs saying you need to sign in to get help with printing. I didn't need anything printed so I didn't think it pertained to me my order was complete. I'm waiting in a line there's a lady I front of me and someone being helped. After waiting for a while and the lady in front of me as well was waiting to be helped with the copy machine because she didn't know how to use it. I finally asked do I need to sign in because I'm only picking up? A young Caucasian male with a C name and chucks with skulls says whoa or wow cuz I guess I was loud idk says your order is probably there (pointing) to a stand. No my order was not there I told him it's not he said okay and never told me to sign in. I'm still waiting the woman in front of me is too and is now complaining like me because we have been waiting a while with no help. We still wait and she tells them I just need help with the copy machine, the two men at the counter are not ver good at communicating and don't really tell her anything. Horrible service. She's frustrated and starts walking out I told her "look im going to sign in because apparently I can not pick up my ready already paid for item without doing so and I'll help you make you're copy." I went out of my way to help their customer it literally took maybe 3 minutes they sooo could have helped her or even called a manger on the sales floor to help her. Any way after being there for 30min no help I get frustrated and say look I'm picking up an order paid for already can I get it I need to leave?? He looks it says my order is done but they can not find it. Great for me right? So I wait some more for it to be printed. Leave that store 40 something minutes later and made it just in time to pick up my son from practice. I get it they have a system they want to stick by... but communication would be key. Tell customers waiting around you need to sign in even if you just want to pick up or you need to sign in even if you just need help with the copy machine. Speak, speak up let the customers know you see them. I stood around when all I needed was my things handed to me... it ended up not being ready but that could have been figured out 30-40 min prior. I would never choose this place again because I feel I'd get the same type of service. Next time I'm going to fed ex for printing services. I give it two stars because in the end I got what I needed but I'm never going back. After I leave I get a text saying I still need to wait 11 min to pick up my already done and paid order lol ridiculous. They would have me waiting even longer. read more

Picture this Office Depot as if you are stepping inside The DMV, but the Dmv from hell. I came for a quick in and out print service and the automated self service printer printed the wrong document. Okay, boo-hoo shame on me, will take the blame on this one. I moved over to customer service/ check out line and the wait was 66 mins plus!!! So i tested my luck while waiting in line to see if i can get help sooner. While waiting other people disrespectfully cut in line and staff was still helping the people that cut in line, not honoring people already waiting in line. It was so frustrating being there because the staff was not focused on helping the customer instead were talking about their upcoming weekend plans. My day was so stressful, staples gave me the run around and tried to charge me twice as much for printing 24x36. So happy that something told me to stop by and get a quote on printing 2 pictures. It was late in the day and I really needed my pictures for my bridal shower the following day. Carlos and Miriam, went over different options with me, and they kept there promise and completed the order in a timely manner. My pictures turned out so nice and I received so many compliments.
