It was quite busy as people were shopping for Christmas decor. I only had a couple things and I had to exchange hot glue gun sticks from one size to another that my husband had purchased and discarded the receipt. My item I was exchanging was $4.99 and unopened. The size I needed was also $4.99. I grabbed it and went to the check out line. As I got there, I asked the young lady if she could do an even exchange and she kindly told me that there was another lane for that and she had never been trained on exchanges but said kindly said she would ask for me. She called her manager over and the manager was beyond rude. She said I was in the wrong lane and since I didn't have a receipt she was unable to do a return but she was going to do it "just this once" and said next time to keep a receipt. She didn't once look me in the eyes and brushed me off. I didn't want a return or my money back, I simply just wanted an exchange for the same priced item. I apologized to the cashier who was checking me out and she was kind. It unfortunate because the cashier was sweet and helpful but the manager was unkind, unprofessional and honestly just rude. I understand a policy but you can articulate in a kind manner. Further, when I got to my car, I looked up the Hobby Lobby return and exchanged policy and you CAN exchange an item of the same price as long as it is unopened (mine was) and it's within 90 days (mine was). Being kind to customers shouldn't be difficult to do when you work in customer service and nobody was being combative or unkind to you.

As an avid seamstress and frequent customer here I can honestly say this group is a class act. Joann.com is a waste of time accepting orders only to have them cancelled 2 weeks later. Finally decided to go to the store to get supplies (no not mask making supplies because suddenly everyone is a seamstress...NOT) I waited 2.5 hours to get in the store and made the most of my time dropped several hundred dollars on fabric for the rest of the year service was excellent!! Needless to say I'm good for at least 6 months.

But I have noticed the last few times I have been here customer service is getting worse and worse. I went there today to get some fabric. When I went to the cutting table line there were about four customers ahead of me. The person at the cutting table looked up at me and said " the people in front of you will be helped and not me until after she takes her lunch". I then asked if there was someone else to work the table while she was on lunch. She very rudely replied "no". I said that's kind of ridiculous then she replied you can wait the thirty minutes. So I put my stuff back and left. I took this as them saying they don't want my business. The store manager should be ashamed with how the employees are treating customers. The store manager should also make sure that there are employees to cover each station while people are on break. That way it doesn't stop customers from being helped and buying things that they went there for. This all happened today 2/13/25 around 1 pm. This was the final straw for me not shopping there anymore. I will take my business to another Joann's. Or better yet one of their competitors

The store offers everyday items such as clothing, books, and other stuff for the home, but what really sold us was that they had a good amount of vintage holiday items at reasonable prices. The business is really small, and even with 3-5 people inside it can feel cramped. Luckily it was on the slower side when we went, so social distancing wasn't an issue.

I showed him a couple of images on my phone and they were squared as photos or photos like images will be on the phone, and I expressed him that I did not want that squared up look that picture frame type look and he assure me that it would be blended in to the shirts only had two shirts, two different designs. He told me 3 business days I waited five and I called him back this morning at 11:30. They said it would be they would be ready by 3:30. I waited until 415 and I called back.The Man asked me if I had if I could resend the image of one of the shirts that I want printed and I asked them what happened they were emailed to you both images. What happened to them? He claimed someone must have taken them and put it in their own personal file. He said one shirt was ready and the other file was misplaced or something and then asked me to hold on for a quick minute which I said fine! Had me on hold for 30 minutes I drove all the way 30 minutes to the to the business only for him to bring the shirts out and I'm still on hold when I walked in the store he brought the shirts out and they were squared and I asked him why were they squared and he told me that that's the only way that they can. That's the way they're gonna come out because that's the way the picture was and then we went back-and-forth and why would you tell me that it wouldn't be squared that it would be blended into the shirt so that it wouldn't look like that so .not only were they late ,but they're inconsistent first impression is last impression so beware this is active impressions. Beware there are entirely too many other businesses around that will treat you fairly. STAND CLEAR!! So for some ungodly reason, the manager or whoever he says he is decides to reply to my review in a manner in which it makes them look like the victim. Hmmmm.... I never spoke to this person once! Only the person that I placed the order with and there was absolutely no mention of any artist consulting or redesigning or anything of the sort! The person that took the order and the money answered all questions with reassurance that the shirts would not come out that way and how it's only square like that on the photo, but for sure would blend in the perimeter, and this was with confidence! As for phone attempts to re-request the file? What since would it make for me to not respond? I already paid! How did they get separate files that were sent together? They flat out lied, dropped the ball and what took so long to contact me if they are being truthful which they are not. And it is very easy to manufacture stories to your benefit when you are trying to protect your business, but right is right! I didn't even demand my money back which I should have, but these were strictly quality samples for me as I expressed in the beginning. This was an honest attempt to share a real business experience, but just a really bad taste in the mouth. A measly 64 dollars it cost to not ever do business here again.
