It's definitely an antique mall, albeit a small one, (NOT a thrift store, although it is surrounded by thrift shops -- so NO clothing or shoes). Despite there being many things in this small shop, it was pretty easy to get around and maneuver around the other patrons. They have vintage items ranging from toys, books, figurines, and music records to antique furniture, housewares, and LOTS of jewelry. Pretty moderate/reasonably priced and all items are well-curated. Although I didn't find anything I wanted, everything inside was so interesting to look through that it was worth the trip! Everything was organized into separate alcoves by category, but the items within were mixed which definitely gave off a "treasure hunt" vibe when browsing through the selection. Each stall has a different seller so you'll find that prices do vary vastly, depending on whose stall you're in. So if you're looking for vintage decor, housewares (such as dishes, cups, etc), or collectible toys then definitely check out Guerrero's!!

The owner is purchasing and upselling (up to triple the price from the department store). The owner does sprinkle some antiques around the store but the items are overpriced. It's also kind of weird that the owner has a huge photograph of herself behind the cashier counter. Not a fan of this store when there are plenty of other stores worth shopping at walking distance.

I've been to many vintage shops all around LA, OC, and The IE, this place is a simple cool spot. I didn't find anything wrong with the place. Meanwhile, walking around the store, I noticed racks full of outdated, overly distressed, worn-looking clothing that somehow meets their standards. It's honestly laughable how inconsistent their buying process seems to be. How are brand-new, higher-end pieces not good enough, yet clothes that look like they've been through years of wear are perfectly acceptable? Their selection makes absolutely no sense to me. I understand that resale stores have their own aesthetic, but there's a difference between having a curated vintage style and seemingly rejecting quality merchandise in favor of overpriced junk. The experience felt like a complete waste of my time, especially considering the condition and brands of the items I brought in. If you have high-end clothing or brand-new pieces with tags, I would seriously reconsider bringing them here. You're better off selling your clothes yourself than wasting your time with such a questionable and inconsistent buying process. Definitely won't be returning.

But I have to tell you something, from a person that doesn't love these type of stores -- -- this one is my favorite. Not too cluttered, not too folksy, not too weird -- simply pitch perfect. The owner and her staff have a way about them, always welcoming, never pushy about product. This last Spring my Mom visited from the East Coast. I was so lucky to have found this store before her arrival. She agreed that it was wonderful and checked out every last inch of the place. We were easily there for an hour. Weeks later my Mom took a bad fall. My family flew in from out of state and got her to the right hospitals and the right Doctors and she's now doing okay. Her memory had been damaged in the fall and so I was asking her questions about her recent Inland Empire visit. She remembered visiting this store but not the name of it. That's when I realized I didn't know it either. When I found it was called SALVAGED TREASURES, just WOW. My family had salvaged our Mom -- our treasure -- and I felt honored to have visited such a place with such a person.
