I've purchased furniture from MF twice already and couldn't be happier. Found great deals on a bar cabinet, coffee table, and end tables. Brett is super helpful, welcoming, and friendly. He not only showed my husband and I around the store, he also took time to show us pieces that matched our interests or that would be soon available. Definitely follow them on Instagram to see what's available and visit the store! read more

Drove all the way here on Saturday, February 21, 2026. I walked up at 2:41 pm and the store is closed! Yelp says they are open until 5:30 pm. Someone needs to update Yelp or hire staff that stay all day. read more

First - I don't know much about MCM furniture. I've done a little shopping because I love the look, but haven't researched properly the high-end designers and average cost of pieces. But from what I have seen, everything is pretty damn expensive! So when I found this shop on Instagram, I saw the prices and was amazed! I think you can get a really good deal here! Second - I saw some reviews on here about the service, but experienced the exact opposite. We were greeted when we walked in by a friendly guy that let us look around and shop in peace, but asked if we had any questions. Soon after, the owner arrived and was also very friendly. Once we found a few things we liked, he gave us a little background on them and even showed us some additional pieces not out on the floor yet. He was very knowledgeable and nice, easy to talk to. And I hate talking to people! Third - I love the pieces we bought. I think they are worth what we paid, and are exactly what I was looking for. Excited to come back when I'm back in the LA area. We didn't have enough cash on hand, so we paid via Paypal. Convenient! read more

I've been to many Mid Century Modern furniture dealers throughout the LA and Inland Empire area, but I've either found them to be extremely overpriced items or cheap reproductions. Upon coming here, Brent was very helpful with asking what I was looking for in terms of manufacture, design, and price range. He's knowledgeable on his products, the type of quality wood used in the furniture, and how to properly maintain your furniture after your purchase it. Since then, Brent's helped me out with my living room and the result has been great. You won't find someone that won't cheat you out of your money's worth if you come here, and he'll touch base with you to make sure it's going well. I've made this place my go-to for Mid Century modern furniture since then. read more

I CANT WAIT TO GO BACK! Friendly. Helpful. And priced to sell! Such a refreshing new vintage furniture shop here in our city. The owners are locals and so very nice. Their pieces are unique and in like-new condition. Their prices are more than reasonable! A shop like this in San Diego or Orange County would have triple the prices. Mostly mid-century and 70's vintage finds. SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES and SHOP HERE! read more

This place is like an awesome time machine. Finding retro style furniture and home furnishings galore. All in the best condition as possible and the owner is very helpful and working for his customers best interests. Me and my gf finance bought a cadenza from here and its lasted longer then IKEA furniture. You'll definitely get one of a kind hard to find items here. read more

I went to antique shops looking for the right furniture in redlands, riverside, lake elsinore and menifee and this store had the biggest mid century and solid wood furniture selection ive seen. The guy that runs the place was friendly, seemed knowledgeable and while I didnt get anything (didnt have exactly what I was looking for in my price range) he was still helpful and pointed me to another antique place that might have what i was looking for. Im not saying his stuff is 'over priced', solid wood furniture is worth much more than crap from ikea and rent is too dang high. They definitely need much more space though. read more

Absolutely over the moon to find a place like this that is local!!!! As someone who has an obsession with mid--post modern chairs, there is plenty to keep me coming back for weeks. The prices are just unbelievably great too. My boyfriend and I purchased two Le Corbusier casino Wassily chairs which were basically in mint condition. and an Eames swivel with this amazing base. Brent, the curator and owner of the shop, is so kind and so patient too. Definitely my new favorite place in town. Thank you again!!!! P.S sorry for the crappy pictures, but i am just IN. LOVE. With these chairs! read more

Finally found a piece here that I'd been looking for for a year! Brent has an eye for quality as well as some great unique stuff. He was helpful and responsive throughout the process and even delivered to LA. read more

This is a hidden gem in riverside. Modern finds if transplanted to palm springs or la would have every item costing double. Large selection for a small store and there is significant turnover. We're very pleased with our table and chairs and bedroom set. read more

Stumbled into this awesome place simply because of the cheeseburger head displayed on the outside. I purchased a couch and chair in great condition for a killer price. Brent even delivered my new/vintage furniture directly to my home. Very satisfied and happy to find this gem of a store so close to home. Definitely keeping in touch for future finds read more

Brent was very helpful and knowledgeable when it came to selecting the right furniture for my new home. Prices were spot on fair. Can't wait to go back and shop. He has a great store and is a pleasure to work with. -M. Bryan (new to Riverside) read more

By far the best mid-century modern store in southern CA, and we have been to quite a few. The owner Brent definitely knows what he is talking about and his prices are excellent. There is a great selection of furniture and we found exactly what we were looking for the first time to the store. I recommend this store to anybody looking for mid-century modern furniture. *On a side note, disregard the poor reviews. I've never had an issue with customer service here. It's irritating when pompous people feel they need to be greeted when walking into a small business, which seems to be a theme on Yelp. When you go furniture shopping for antiques/mid century modern furniture, you get what you get. Buy what you need and get the eff out. read more

After a year of the stars not aligning, Brent helped me acquire a dream piece (from his own personal collection/storage nonetheless!). Brent responded on a Sunday night, and we coordinated after hours Monday and early morning Tuesday to make sure I could pick up an exquisite bench set while passing through the area. (at a killer price to boot!) These vintage pieces were really made to last and are far more thoughtful than the garbage we buy and dispose of today. Take a stop by and I'm sure you won't be disappointed! read more

Super sweet mid century goodies.... including Brent the owner! Excellent prices for one-of-a-kind treasures; this place will blow your mind.

Modern Finds is a great business. I had looked on Yelp to get an idea of who to contact for a consignment, so finding a great one means I should share my experience as well. Brent is friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. Highly Recommend! read more

My girlfriend and I went in just to look around and we found two wassily chairs and an Eames chair that we loved! The owner, Brent, was very friendly and offered us a great deal for all three chairs. I would highly recommend shopping here! read more

The worst customer service ever. When I asked him about the price on one of his pieces he snapped at me practically yelling at me. The store is small and really not all that for him to have such a pompous attitude. The prices are over priced to say the least. And you Sir need to learn better people skills. F -. I will not return to this unsavory business. read more

Wonderful people and quality stuff. I recently moved into a sweet 1bed,1 bath condo built in 1963. I wanted to outfit it with period peices, so I started my search. I went on some diasapointing Craigslist endeavors and long days at the swap meet only to come back empty handed. Then I found Brent and oh man, what a find it was. So much good stuff!! And I really felt like I scored big on price too. I pretty much outfitted the majority of my place with amazing finds he had. He spent his time working with me, helping lay it out right and giving me tips along the way. He looked at pictures I had on my phone and came up with great ideas. Totally personal customer service. He even came to my pad and delivered the peices and worked on laying things out until it worked best. I couldn't be happier. Thanx Brent for all your expertise and wonderful eye in helping make my house into my perfect home. I look forward to coming in soon for some finishing touches. read more

Albeit I have belonged to Yelp for several years, I have never felt the necessity to leave a review. I travel all over the world, and this handy app has shown me amazing eateries, touristic sites, and places to shop. However, it is with much disdain that I come to this point, where I find necessary to bring light to a business I believe others must be alerted to. I'll be fair. Perhaps some of the furniture and items available here are appeasing to the eye, but this is where the niceness stops. The gentleman who works there, is perhaps one of the rudest man I have ever encountered. After browsing through the store (and finding that prices where much higher then average, as compared to nearby surrounding areas) I wanted to ask him a question. He had been sitting at his desk towards the end of the store, speaking loudly on the phone. Had never acknowledged my presence, and when I approached him he dismissed me with a wave of his hand, without even raising his eyes to mine. I felt as if my presence there or my wanting to patronize his business were of no importance to him. I felt ignored (as I was the ONLY client in the store) and unwanted. Never have I been humiliated in such a manner at a place of commerce. Therefore, I felt compelled to share with you this terrible experience. If you like being mistreated, shop here, however, if you have self respect, indulge yourself and stay away! * In response to the below comment I can only gather came from the gentleman who was in the store when I did visit ; Carin S. and I are of no relation. If you assume all people with the same last initial are related then apparently another family member left you a positive review. There is no conspiracy, there is no bashing, just my experience. I personally do not believe that kind of customer service is acceptable. If you feel that kind of customer service is acceptable, then shame on you. read more

Brent wasn't open but we called him and he came down and opened the store for us. We sure are glad he did because we ended up buying a whole bunch of furniture. This place is new in my neighborhood I just found this store and it is awesome I bought a couple of chairs from them for my mother and she loves them. He has some absolutely gorgeous pieces, but the prices are beyond anything I've seen for similar items at vintage or MCM furniture shops in Southern California, including LA and Palm Springs. If I could give zero stars I would. If you have seen their pictures on Craigslist or Instagram, don't be fooled! They are completely photoshopped to make their furniture and merchandise seem waaaay better than what it really is. This place is full of over priced junky furniture that needs some sort of fixing to even be presentable. Don't waste your time going here, you will just leave disappointed. Two thumbs down! read more

Brent has an amazing eye, great curation and collection. Priced at a great value. For anyone that is a collector or has a true appreciation of modern furniture and accessories - this is a must visit. Also if you're looking for something - speak with Brent, he's got warehouses full of stuff as well. This is not a thrift store, so do not expect thrift store prices. Be respectful to the collection - his love and passion for this shows in every piece he has on display for sale. Great stumble upon - I frequent shops in LA and SF (and have for 10+ years), and this is a true gem. read more

Happened to be driving by and saw this store it wasn't open checked times and came back when it was glad I did. Everyone is different but I like to be left alone when shopping I'm not that social I don't have time for nonsense some people liked to be pampered when they show up(the guy that left a 1star review and wrote a book about if your that easily offended by a shopping experience your to soft to be out in public) Brent does a good job of finding out what your looking for but not giving the pitch and push you get most places you go I enjoyed everything about the store I found him an informed owner he has a passion for classic furniture,we had a nice a chat about different styles and he made a few suggestions with no pressure I ended up buying some small mid century items they were a bargain his prices are good and everything is high quality there is usually a story behind it to,I like the way he does business I'll go back and I'm sure I'll find something else cool. Check it out well worth a visit be sure and check times before showing up or call... read more

Bought a living room set from these guys and love it! It's mid century wood frame with original orange fabric cushions, killer look and comfortable too. Even got a small buffet/cabinet to go with it and really love the way it all came together. Great selection and tons of knowledge. The prices are reasonable and customer service is helpful without any attitude or snobbery. Looking forward to buying more here! read more
