First - I don't know much about MCM furniture. I've done a little shopping because I love the look, but haven't researched properly the high-end designers and average cost of pieces. But from what I have seen, everything is pretty damn expensive! So when I found this shop on Instagram, I saw the prices and was amazed! I think you can get a really good deal here! Second - I saw some reviews on here about the service, but experienced the exact opposite. We were greeted when we walked in by a friendly guy that let us look around and shop in peace, but asked if we had any questions. Soon after, the owner arrived and was also very friendly. Once we found a few things we liked, he gave us a little background on them and even showed us some additional pieces not out on the floor yet. He was very knowledgeable and nice, easy to talk to. And I hate talking to people! Third - I love the pieces we bought. I think they are worth what we paid, and are exactly what I was looking for. Excited to come back when I'm back in the LA area. We didn't have enough cash on hand, so we paid via Paypal. Convenient! read more

I went to antique shops looking for the right furniture in redlands, riverside, lake elsinore and menifee and this store had the biggest mid century and solid wood furniture selection ive seen. The guy that runs the place was friendly, seemed knowledgeable and while I didnt get anything (didnt have exactly what I was looking for in my price range) he was still helpful and pointed me to another antique place that might have what i was looking for. Im not saying his stuff is 'over priced', solid wood furniture is worth much more than crap from ikea and rent is too dang high. They definitely need much more space though. read more

Absolutely over the moon to find a place like this that is local!!!! As someone who has an obsession with mid--post modern chairs, there is plenty to keep me coming back for weeks. The prices are just unbelievably great too. My boyfriend and I purchased two Le Corbusier casino Wassily chairs which were basically in mint condition. and an Eames swivel with this amazing base. By far the best mid-century modern store in southern CA, and we have been to quite a few. The owner Brent definitely knows what he is talking about and his prices are excellent. There is a great selection of furniture and we found exactly what we were looking for the first time to the store. I recommend this store to anybody looking for mid-century modern furniture. *On a side note, disregard the poor reviews. I've never had an issue with customer service here. It's irritating when pompous people feel they need to be greeted when walking into a small business, which seems to be a theme on Yelp. After a year of the stars not aligning, Brent helped me acquire a dream piece (from his own personal collection/storage nonetheless!). Brent responded on a Sunday night, and we coordinated after hours Monday and early morning Tuesday to make sure I could pick up an exquisite bench set while passing through the area. Wonderful people and quality stuff. I recently moved into a sweet 1bed,1 bath condo built in 1963. I wanted to outfit it with period peices, so I started my search. I went on some diasapointing Craigslist endeavors and long days at the swap meet only to come back empty handed. Then I found Brent and oh man, what a find it was. So much good stuff!! And I really felt like I scored big on price too. I pretty much outfitted the majority of my place with amazing finds he had. He spent his time working with me, helping lay it out right and giving me tips along the way. He looked at pictures I had on my phone and came up with great ideas. Totally personal customer service. He even came to my pad and delivered the peices and worked on laying things out until it worked best. I couldn't be happier. Albeit I have belonged to Yelp for several years, I have never felt the necessity to leave a review. I travel all over the world, and this handy app has shown me amazing eateries, touristic sites, and places to shop. However, it is with much disdain that I come to this point, where I find necessary to bring light to a business I believe others must be alerted to. I'll be fair. Perhaps some of the furniture and items available here are appeasing to the eye, but this is where the niceness stops. The gentleman who works there, is perhaps one of the rudest man I have ever encountered. After browsing through the store (and finding that prices where much higher then average, as compared to nearby surrounding areas) I wanted to ask him a question. He had been sitting at his desk towards the end of the store, speaking loudly on the phone. Had never acknowledged my presence, and when I approached him he dismissed me with a wave of his hand, without even raising his eyes to mine. I felt as if my presence there or my wanting to patronize his business were of no importance to him. I felt ignored (as I was the ONLY client in the store) and unwanted. Never have I been humiliated in such a manner at a place of commerce. Therefore, I felt compelled to share with you this terrible experience. If you like being mistreated, shop here, however, if you have self respect, indulge yourself and stay away! * In response to the below comment I can only gather came from the gentleman who was in the store when I did visit ; Carin S. and I are of no relation. If you assume all people with the same last initial are related then apparently another family member left you a positive review. There is no conspiracy, there is no bashing, just my experience. If I could give zero stars I would. If you have seen their pictures on Craigslist or Instagram, don't be fooled! They are completely photoshopped to make their furniture and merchandise seem waaaay better than what it really is. This place is full of over priced junky furniture that needs some sort of fixing to even be presentable. Don't waste your time going here, you will just leave disappointed. Happened to be driving by and saw this store it wasn't open checked times and came back when it was glad I did. Everyone is different but I like to be left alone when shopping I'm not that social I don't have time for nonsense some people liked to be pampered when they show up(the guy that left a 1star review and wrote a book about if your that easily offended by a shopping experience your to soft to be out in public) Brent does a good job of finding out what your looking for but not giving the pitch and push you get most places you go I enjoyed everything about the store I found him an informed owner he has a passion for classic furniture,we had a nice a chat about different styles and he made a few suggestions with no pressure I ended up buying some small mid century items they were a bargain his prices are good and everything is high quality there is usually a story behind it to,I like the way he does business I'll go back and I'm sure I'll find something else cool.
