I've used this location before and have generally had positive experiences, which made today's interaction even more disappointing. I came in to return an item after the manufacturer instructed me to ship it through UPS using their account. Before I could even pull up the return information on my phone, the associate immediately became dismissive and told me, "We don't do that. We aren't UPS." I tried explaining that I was simply following the manufacturer's instructions, but she repeated the same statement in an increasingly rude tone and offered no attempt to understand what I was trying to accomplish. When I asked where an actual UPS hub was located, instead of providing basic customer service, she told me to "Google it on your phone." There is a difference between not being able to help and not wanting to help. I understand if this location couldn't process my return. What I don't understand is the complete lack of professionalism, patience, or courtesy. Customer service isn't just about having the right answer--it's about how you communicate it. A simple explanation and a helpful suggestion would have taken 30 seconds. Instead, I was treated like an inconvenience from the moment I walked in. This location is usually friendly and helpful, which is why this interaction stood out so much. The associate I dealt with today could benefit from a refresher on basic customer service. I went to this UPS Store yesterday to drop off a package back to Amazon. The store is shuttered. They are no longer there. I saw a big sign in the window that said 'Closed. Not Safe to Enter.' And upon looking in the window, the counters and cabinets are pushed all over the space, trash on the floor, and no flooring installed. What's really shameful is looking this location up online, it still shows as active. Luckily, I needed to go to the grocery store next door, otherwise this would have been a wasted trip for me. *** Edited review for more context... I went back to the shopping center another day for something else. I happened to look over at the old Rite Aid. There was a sign over there that said that location was a temporary UPS Store. HOWEVER - it would have been super helpful (and would still be super helpful) if there was a sign in the window at the ACTUAL UPS Store location to point people in the direction of their temporary placement. If they see you obviously wanting to print something and it's not self service they won't pay any attention you, so make sure you wait in line right when you come in because they don't care to offer any service unless ur in line. Because priority is packages I guess even if others came in after you they want to make sure to help them first. read more

I am writing about the UPS store in Canyon Crest Town Center. I was returning a pair of shoes to Zappos. I left the box untaped, so that the store could confirm the shoes were in the box. I went here for my live scan and finger printing service. I was very amazed at how efficiently Aubrey and Bill handle the busy store. I was expecting to be here for quite some time due to the high foot traffic. However, Aubrey and Bill handled the rush hour very well. I commended them for their professionalism and quality of service. I would recommend others to use this UPS store for their service. I used the online services to send a file to be printed and to be picked up next day as it promises. I paid for it and submitted. I showed up in the morning and the girl at the desk said "oh sorry we are out of ink go online and cancel your order and resend it another store" I asked if it was possible for them to send it to another store and they said "no we can't sorry " and then talked over me to the next customer. I went on the website and in my account to cancel and request a refund and then upload and pay again to another store... there is no option to cancel or refund. It clearly says "order processed store approved and accepted" I'm so amazed at the lack of customer service and respect. If you're out of ink, as a PRINTING shop, maybe have some in stock or have the decency to email me letting me know that the order cannot be processed instead of it saying it was processed and possibly go is that further and find a solution for me instead of telling me to cancel and redo it when clearly, there's no option to even do so. I had my one year old with me or I would have had words but that honestly would not have gotten me anywhere seeing as his their only respond was "I don't know" to everything. I made a notary appointment for 9:30 AM. I showed up at 9:25 AM and was informed that the notary would arrive in the next 5 minutes. I waited until about 9:45-9:50 AM before they actually arrived. The first available appointment was 9:00 AM so I don't even want to think about possibly waiting at the store for any longer than I already did. She was very nice and got the job done, but it was a huge waste of time. Hopefully it was just an off day. read more

Don't get your passport photo from here. They use a low quality camera and have terrible lighting which leaves shadows on your face. Your passport application can easily be rejected for a photo with bad lighting. They also wouldn't offer a refund so I wasted $20. Go to Staples for passport photos instead. The quality is way better and slightly cheaper. read more

Crista, the manager is very low class and extremely unprofessional. There was a postal office package that I dropped off here to be sent and it got lost and disappeared completely. I asked her to review the security footage inside the store, and she got so defensive like she was hiding something. When I called to understand the matter, instead of deescalating, she hung up the phone on me while I was talking and refused to talk to me. I spoke with her with all respect to understand what happened to the package. DO NOT GO HERE! If anything happens, she will not be able to communicate and make your life hell. She is VERY DISRESPECFUL. To hang up in the face of the customer, is another level of being low and ill-mannered. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! You will regret it! You can take a chance on losing your package I had to call corporate and file a complaint on this store and the low class Crista. read more

Thieves. I had an incident I had previously placed a review for. I contacted the store owner, and was pretty much lied to by the store owner and management team. Through email they led me to believe that they would issue a refund but they never did and ghosted me. I came into this UPS to get a paper notarized and it was very easy! You don't need an appointment or anything even though it says that in services menu! It was $15 per document and it was very hustle free! I will be returning here for this service in the future. read more

I forgot why I don't go to this UPS store...until today. I had an Amazon return that I attempted to return the way Amazon sent it to me - in a soft package. The manager said I had to purchase a box. I said "But this is how they sent it to me." She said, "You agreed to package it." I left and went to another UPS store and they took it just fine. Today I had a return that I was supposed to package myself. Put it in a box but didn't have packing tape. They charged to tape it closed. Even though it's convenient, I won't be back. read more

I opened a post office box, then, due to circumstances beyond my control, I had to close it the next day(this all occurred within a 26 hour window). I was refused a refund of close to $200. The contract was terminated, they refused to give me any proof...& refused to give me my contract back. They said the owner is out of state...& can't be contacted. The CA civil code 1689.7 states I have a minimum of 3 days to cancel a contract. I have emailed the owners, Melissa & Jerome Thomas, brought in a letter asking for a full refund. Also, I opened a dispute with my credit card company. This is NOT a reputable owner...& they own 10 UPS Store locations. Please think before bringing your business to this address. read more

Honestly this was probably the best UPS store I've ever stepped inside! The workers were nice, courteous, prompt with service and let me know all info beforehand when I called. I called specifically for notary service and TaMoya Holloway was amazing! She let me know what time she would be on lunch break so I knew when to come in, she was quick in servicing me and provided the most excellent notary service I've ever received, explaining each step of the way. I always do my amazon returns at this store and I love the employees there but earlier today I went in to do a return and an employee with short black hair was helping me and scanned my barcode and took my package. There were two other employees standing behind him a short girl with black hair and a tall guy with brown hair. The first guy took my package and the girl behind him said "What are you doing put that in a bag" and he said "Uh no why this is in a box?", she said "It's not an amazon box, do it properly - and he chuckled and rolled his eyes and walked away. I asked why it needed a bag because I was confused myself and she explained it was stores policy to keep all returns intact on the way back to Amazon so people can get their full refund back. Noted I have done an amazon return here before and never gotten my refund back. It was only one item that I did not get a refund for but I gave them the benefit of the doubt since I have been going here for a few years. After today I got an uncomfortable feeling that my amazon return could have possibly been sent out wrong AGAIN and I would have not gotten my refund back. I also felt that after this incident the employees here do not do these returns "properly" all the time with other people who also come in with returns. This is the one with the carts very large. We will pickup by renting a truck just to get everything out. 8 at a time is simply not enough. I sincerely apologize. I really do not want more people coming to this particular store because it is so good and I like it to not be so crowded every other UPS store the people working there are complete jerks this is by far the best one I've ever been to and if they were allowed to except tips I would tip them every single time I go in there which is at least once a week so instead I'll try to offer them free products and other items that I sell because they are literally so nice to me. And even then they always refuse to take anything and they say they're just doing their job but in reality they are going above and beyond of just doing their job. Anyway just to communicate with you guys I will rent a truck next week and I'll pick up the probably 100 packages that are at your facility. I am not sure which day my containers of the new style of shopping carts (which will yield far less returns as we figured out the company was using LDPE instead of HDPE so certain plastic pieces were breaking during shipment) is arriving so it could be any day from Tuesday through Friday as I do not get a phone call the day before letting me know when the containers will arrive. I will just rent a U-Haul and pick everything up hopefully Tuesday as I am hoping we container will arrive Monday and I can trash every single unit that I have left over. read more

Poor safety protocol during Covid. It does not seem safe or store is concerned for Patrons and staff They do not have any marks on the floor for social distancing. Also there is no separation barrier between their staff and customers. The store is small and they do not control de number of people that can be inside the store. They have 3 employees so at least they should not have more than 7 people. That is not the case Staff is friendly and courteous, but either not all terminals have a scanner to read the amazon return code or they are broken. They ask you to read the return reference number. I took several Amazon returns last week to this location. There was a set of curtains that a young female employee asked me why I was returning and she was talking about how cute they are. I just mentioned that they didn't match the color of my room but that they were really nice. I got refunded for all of the returns except the curtains despite the same exact process of scanning a QR code as three other items, including a refund for an item from the same exact order. I returned all of them on the same exact day and the same exact time. The "super cute" $70 curtains have mysteriously gone missing, and now I'm going through a headache with Amazon to get refunded for them. I'm a broke college student. Very suspicious if you ask me. I will never, ever be returning to this location again. read more

I come here all the time to drop off my Amazon packages and a few times to send out letters back home. Sometimes the wait is really long because there are usually 2 people working. If you have an Amazon return that you already labeled and boxed up, don't hesitate to hop to the front of the line to kindly tell the staff "I have a labeled Amazon return" and they will gladly take it off your hands so that you can leave quickly. The service here is usually very friendly so I'm glad this UPS Store exists by my house! read more

I came here to drop off the AT&T package with my roommate. It wasn't bad when we first walked in and were helped within a few minutes. The employee helping me was named Charlene or Charmaine, something like that. I told her I needed to drop off the package and she made the facial expression of "whatever". She then snatched the AT&T paper out of my hand uhm.. RUDE. She was disrespectful and rude. She then gave my roommate some papers to sign and practically shoved everything at him. To top it off while helping me, she turned to this elder lady and with the biggest smile said bye mrs.whatever her last name is. Then she was back to being rude. Avoid this location because apparently the employees hate their jobs and don't offer any decent customer service. read more

DO NOT SHIP ANYTHING TO THIS STORE!!! BEWARE!!! About a month ago, we shipped some camera equipment from this store to Montana. It arrived without problem. Upon returning, we shipped two boxes of camera equipment from another UPS store. It was very expensive but wrapped very carefully. This store received the package and SENT IT BACK TO MONTANA, never notifying us or attempting to. When we contacted them, they said that was their policy although they had not notified us of that when we sent the equipment. We had to spend another $150.00 to have it shipped back, this time to our house because we will never, ever, never use this store again. Be advised, UPS will not cover the cost or get involved because it is a privately owned company. I pity anyone shipping to this store, or any private UPS store, for that matter, who is not aware of the unscrupulous way they handle incoming packages. It's a racket. I've read several people on this site who had similar problems. I don't make many reviews but this one hurt us a lot!!!! read more
