Do not judge a book by its cover. According to the GPS, this was the nearest PO to me at the time. I was just mailing a letter and wanted to support the local PO. At first I thought I was in ghost town. Nothing really going on outside and it wasn't exactly the traditional business I was expecting to see. The outside of the building seemed old and dirty. The flag waving in the wind was my indication that this was a genuine PO. So I parked and walked in. Yes, actual people and not a scary movie. Thank you USPS for having a location way way out here. I'm not sure if I will be in this area again? Maybe if I'm visiting the sparkling "new" FBI building nearby. Well hopefully not :) read more

Great service and friendly, helpful staff. Shipping couple of boxes back to mainland and the cost was less than UPS and FedEx.

It's great to have this post office in the area. But the parking situation and the long lines does not make the experience fun. Servers are normally friendly. But they tend to be shorthanded at the wrong times. Especially during the holidays you can wait over an hour. They are open on Saturdays and the lines are still long, even if you come just before they open. So bring your patients and food and water. I park across the street at the library its the most convenient. read more

I went to this location for a Passport appointment. They provided a time and date and told me A parent has to be present for minors under 18. Fast forward to the date and time, it's at the Renton location PLUS they said BOTH parents had to be present!!! Talk about waste of time and misinformation! This place is not good whatsoever. Everytime I come in, the postal store is empty (meaning they have no boxes for you to buy to ship things) and there is only one person up front when I see people in the back who seem to just be chilling and not doing anything but being on their phone. Today I came in prepared with my own box ready to ship and the line was almost out the door but there was still only one slow person working at the front. The wait was 45 minutes. Update: They have since hired more staff. The times I've returned, there's always at least two people assisting & they are FRIENDLY! The line now moves at a much quicker pace despite the long line. Street parking is still difficult to find but I'm glad we have a USPS in Kapolei. This USPS is also equipped with the usual: stamps, boxes, cards. One stop shop for mailing goodies! read more

People That come here are impatient asswipes that often argue with the postal workers for reasons that are not their fault. The lines here are long because it's a busy location. The workers are accurate and only want to ensure that your items are properly processed in order to get to their destination safely and quickly. Came here because it opened earlier than the other branches that does usps mailing. Had only one person working and she took an avg 5-10 mins per customer. On a time crunch I finally got to the front of the line (mind you I came in when the store just opened on the dot on Saturday with 4-5 people ahead of me.) was told I needed to wrap my box because even when I just wanted to return stuff from amazon. Anyways I feel like they need better sign or something. On return to Amazon it says I just had to bring the item and the code. That's it. No wrapping. I IMMEDIATELY LEFT. There was 7-10 ppl that was now in line and I would've had to go to the back of the line and wait at least an hour to be serviced again. I only had 30 mins until I needed to leave total and it was already half way there. I decided to just go to the ups store at Kapolei. They also do usps service and return to amazon. They opened 30 mins after usps but was in and out in less than a minute. Just don't go to this store. If you have to go then go. This is why I take my usps mailing to postal connections or ups store in kapolei. If you want to return stuff to AMAZON. GO TO THE UPS THEY DO USPS TOO. read more

Sucks to have to go to Kapolei post office to mail packages off and pick up mail, always understaff and the hrs don't do justice, 10a-4p....people have to wait around to get in....no kiosk to pay for shipping, kapolei is the fastest growing town, this needs to upgrade! Hella long lines. No parking except for street side, which is usually filled. I had to circle twice before deciding to park at the local park; some people park at the library but I think that's a no-no as I've been on the other end trying to find parking for library use. No self service priority mail kiosk like the one at Mililani so you gotta stand in line. Only one woman worker manning the front. Two entrances ( confusing); one goes to the actual post office, the other, to the PO boxes that's not connected to the main post office itself. Going to avoid this location from now on. read more

Up until January 2017 I went to the Pinedale Post Office to mail all packages. The only time I went to the Clovis Post Office was to buy stamps or do what I could do Self-Serve. The lines were always too long, I got frustrated standing in a line with only one clerk available, and when you finally got to walk up to the clerk, he/she (mostly she) was not friendly at all. Hallelujah, times have changed people! I don't know what happened or when the evolution took place, but this Post Office is EXCELLENT. I went in to mail a package in January and there was actually a very nice person standing at the side counter that asked if she could answer any questions or help me in any way. WHAAATT??!!! Yes! She took my package, weighed it, placed postage on it, and I was done. She smiled at me and wished me a wonderful day. I went in to purchase stamps and inquire about mailing an envelope to Canada. After waiting behind three people in line, with three clerks working, I was at the counter in no time. The postal worker suggested a few options and was so helpful. I was almost embarrassed that she was taking so much time just with little ole me. Again, she smiled at me and wished me a wonderful day. So, for those of you that have not been to the Clovis Post Office lately due to negative experiences, I can assure you that this is the place to go to mail those holiday packages. This place is always packed & their is always 1 register open which is annoying. I'm glad I'm not the only one who notice that they closed before the time they are suppose to. I came at 3:50 one day and the girl had the nerve to say we closed and was locking the door how are you closed when there is still 10mins to 4pm. I'm not sure if the managers are aware of employees closing early but that needs to be corrected. If you're not too familiar with the area, you'd never know that this little post office is even there! It's in the 1001 Kamokila Bldg., aka Campbell Square. There's actually parking underneath the building, and it's free! But again, you'd have to know the area to know this. I discovered it on one of my lunch walks in the neighborhood. The great thing about it being a tiny little post office is that it's never been crowded when I've been there. It's got about 3 windows, basic postal supplies, and drop slots, as well as the blue drop box outside on the street (but good luck trying to pull over and park to drop your mail--street parking is usually packed over there). First off, I want to say that I appreciate our delivery postal workers (even though its a team effort). But I hate coming to this location. I live in Ewa but do a lot of business in Kapolei so I usually just make the stop while running all my errands in the area. The parking here sucks. There is usually no street parking so I will have to park across the street and walk over with all my packages. Then theres the line. The line here moves VERY slow in comparison with all the other locations I visit (Ewa, Pearl City, airport). The first time, I thought it was just the holiday season but the 2 times after that was the same. Once was a Friday afternoon and once was a mid day/mid week. Every single time there is only like 3 people ahead of me and 2 (sometimes more) workers and I'm there for like 10 mins. That's too long for the amount of people there. Ok. A box was scheduled to be delivered today, Saturday. A slip was left in our locked cluster mailbox stating it could not be delivered due to construction. I checked our security camera and the postal service van drove up our street, then came back down literally a minute later. Ample parking on our street but not even a stop. There is construction occurring on THE SIDE of our house with the only equipment in use being a cement mixer, and the FRONT DOOR AND DOOR BELL are accessible. We were home. My package could have been delivered. Was it just easier to drive by and put a slip in our locked mailbox? Was it too much trouble to walk to door for a signature? Now I have to rush through traffic to get to the post office on Monday afternoon, after work, to try to find my box that should have been walked to my doorstep for a signature. Carrier getting lazy! I've ordered the same product for the last 5 months. Half was delivered and the other half was tagged for me to pick up from kapolei post office. Because of the tracker on packages it tells me half my order was left at kapolei post office and my other half of my order was delivered. They cannot say they attempted to delivery my package like it said on the notice they left because they never tried. They LIED!!!!!! This is the second time this happen my previous orders had no issues!!!!! What's up with that I'm paying for deliver because of COVID now I have to go to post office and expose myself. This post office is hidden, well in my opinion at least. Anyways, let the review begin .... To start, their P.O. Boxes are in a room that does NOT connect or lead directly into the main post office. It's rather confusing. Second, this place is so small and can barely accommodate a line of 12 comfortably. My first visit, I waited in line for 15 minutes to label and ship a package. It was miserable in there. The heat, a crying baby, and a worker (not plural, only 1 employee working the counter) that didn't seem enthused to be at work. After my initial visit, I learned how to create shipping labels online so I could avoid this place. Well, my smart self forgot that after a label is created, the package still needs to be shipped. That means that I have to still drop in to ship my boxes/packages. JOY! My second visit, I came prepared. I walked into this location with my packages all labeled and ready to go. Walked in and saw only one person standing in line. SCORE ... or so I thought. That one person decided to ship a total of 8 boxes. I knew it would be a while so I looked around for a package/box drop or already labeled items. To my surprise, I could not find one. All I could see was a drop slot for letters. I was forced to wait patiently as the lady in front of me taped and labeled her 8 boxes. When it was my turn, I handed the employee my packages and she goes "Oh, you know you could have just dropped them here on the counter or in that red bin" She points to my left and I see a large red bin. No labels. No signs. How was I supposed to know the red bin was for outgoing packages?? I guess I was suppose to just assume (??) USPS: Please put up proper signage to not confuse people. This place baffles me. While I'm grateful for Saturday hours, if you're going to open on a Saturday having enough staff for the number of customers is also imperative. During the Christmas rush, thankfully there was a separate line for those picking up mail, yet come the new year, you're forced to wait in line behind folks mailing 15-100 packages just so you can pick up an envelope. Madness. The store is small as hell and there's also no air circulation. Probably one of worst USPS locations that I've been to. Certain times of the day (usually lunch and after work), the line will be super long because there's only one worker... Maybe two at most. If I plan to drop off packages at this location, I'll usually do Click N Ship so that I don't have to wait in the long line. Like other reviewers have said, the parking is horrible. There's pretty much only street parking...that is if you can find an open spot. There's a parking structure underground, but when you're in a rush and just want to get in and out quick then it is kind of inconvenient. Other than that, I have never had a problem with the employees and my mail always gets to its destination. Just wish the parking situation and staffing was better. I will say though, they do stay open pretty late compared to other locations on the island. I will still try to avoid Kapolei USPS though if possible and just go elsewhere. read more

The staff is amazing. Every time I go in they are helpful and nice. They can sometimes be a little busy but it is what it is. I'm confused on one matter though yesterday the delivery person left the missed delivery sticker on my door with the "after" scratched out. I took it up to the PO and asked them to have it left on my porch today. Signed the back and all of the sticker. Today comes and no package. I signed up for the delivery alerts via text and haven't received one update. Do they switch route times or something? read more
