Got a notification yesterday from Amazon saying my packages were delivered to this post office. Went to pick it up and got this lame a** excuse of a note. It wouldn't surprise me if the contents of my "damaged package" was seen by a postal employee of this Waianae branch, stolen by them and replaced by this heartless, crappy note. The manager here is lazy-And stock on stupid they find every excuse why their Postal Service drivers can't do their job, But FedEx can do it, UPS can do it- And they drive much bigger trucks- USPS Delivery driver cars the size of a mini Cooper and they still can't figure out how to drive down a lane That's big enough to fit going and ongoing traffic that goes through this lane, When I file a Complain about them, not doing their job they sent out this lady who looks to be mix 5,5 ft to 5.7 ft 185 to 220 lbs Black hair- She comes straight at me like Vegeta from Dragon Ball looking all mad- Then she starts to raise her voice to me as soon as she came to talk to me and then I raise my voice back, Now I'm smiling an she looks like she's taking a poop, Trying to intimidate me too Shut up and stopped my complain, But I didn't ben I told her every other company can do their job USPS drivers should be capable of doing the same job that other companies do, Then she came up with another excuse why a mini Cooper car size can't drive down our lane because they might hit children, Smh I told her if they're not capable of handling the vehicle that's small. Maybe they shouldn't even have a license and then you should not have hired someone who is incapable of handling the vehicle properly- They pulled me in the back to show me my driveway on Google maps, I told her I drove a U-Haul through that lane. I drove a Penske truck through this lane. I used to work for a moving company. I've been in tighter driveways than this and this is not even that close to being called tight. Then she constantly started yelling at me with her other supervisor by her side caucasian female with brown hair-I'm thinking she's 5,6 ft 220 lbs- They threatened to cancel my packages and mail ever being delivered to my house, I requested for both of their names. They told me if you're gonna continue yelling we're gonna have you removed. I told them right there is my piece of paper that you gave me. I filled it out. You're the one that told me to come back here I was done. I was waiting to hand this back to you. Shortly after that, she told me to stop and I asked for her name again, Once again she gave me a runaround of giving me that information I asked The other lady for her name. Once again they gave me a runaround not to give me their name, So I could properly file a complaint about their unprofessional customer service- I ended up Walking out- The last word I said is Do your job? And have your drivers do their job so we don't have to come here and talk to you, The managers are incapable of having their drivers actually do their job because them their selves are lazy- I recommend you go on Google search up post office in your community and read the comments of this post office right here, There is multiple comments, complaining about the same thing. The problem isn't the workers. The problem is a trashy managers. And that needs to be fixed read more

The Waianae post office has been around for a long time. I come here to pick up my postage stamps whether it be the Forever stamps, Christmas stamps, or iconic stamps like Duke Kahanamoku. Customers can also purchase money orders here. There's also flat rate boxes and envelopes for customers to use if they have to mail out something small or something big. Do you know you can also apply for a United States Passport at the post office? I came to the Waianae post office to pick up a passport application one day and turned it in after all the requirements was finished about a week after. It took awhile for the processing of the application and I did receive my passport in the mail. I used the passport for my first international visit to China the year before the Olympics. I have a habit of coming to this post office to mail out my payments instead of using my home mailbox. I also come to this location for sending out omiyage items to the mainland. Sometimes I even come here to pick up packages since no one is home to receive the packages at the time of delivery. I notice a few times that this location has only one or two counters open to help the customers with their sealed packages. It would be nice if workers see a long line out front to just open up their section and help the next customer in line. As long as I am in the Waianae area this post office location will be my go to place for stamps and mailing off payments or greeting cards. read more

Ordered something online and was really looking forward to getting my package. Day of delivery came and my tracker says delivered but not package in our mail. Went to the post office and told them I didn't get my package and the supervisor said the carrier had already left my area so will be back later to check and asked if I would like to leave my name and number which I did. The post office is now closed and I still don't have my package nor did i at least get an update. Mind you this isn't the first time this has happened. It seems like every time I come here, the workers make you feel like you're a bother for being there. No greetings, no welcoming to there window, nothing. They don't ask you what you're needing help with or if you need help at all. Just a blank stare like "what do you want." I feel like they need training in the area of CUSTOMER SERVICE because they lack the bare minimum. And they show it. But I must say, the guy who works on the front line, he's the nicest out of everyone else who works there. Just left there. Internet is down so they've got signs up that says cash only. I was in a rush so I just dash in to pick up my package and buy a book of stamps. PATTI was very rude. No personality. Dry as a bone. I take out my card to pay without thinking and she looks at me and says "No. No debit or credit. Cash only. Our internet is down. Cash only." So I put my card away and take out cash. I like that Waianae still has a very busy and very productive Post Office where you easily go in and grab 'flat rate boxes' to send out to families and friends in the mainland. The Office staff is friendly and helpful with any questions about delivery and shipment charges. They'll even help you with filling out forms for: changing postal address, international customs, and express delivery. Parking is good, even during busy hours and times of the year, you never have to wait for a parking stall. Operating Hours work with the busy life schedule and allow time to get in and get out. One suggestion I wish they would consider is having all four counters open during long lines. It seems that they're either short staffed for the day while I would see worker in the back. There were a few times I waited in line from 30 minutes to two hours due to only one or two counters being opened. read more

To begin this review, I would like to commend the friendly front desk representatives for always having friendly, courteous attitudes toward their customers. Mr. Iosefa in particular is always helpful and personable. He never fails to greet me with a warm smile, even after having dealt with a difficult customer. As of late, I have found myself frequenting our post office for packages that are far too big to fit in our mailbox. Upon every visit, I am met with a smile and pleasant conversation. I have been there on several occasions. Avoid the hours before and after lunch & 3:30 p.m. The workers are friendly and courteous. If there is a line, expect to wait. I have observed that the customer's are very helpful. Just yesterday, I had to ship 12 boxes to New Jersey. Patrons standing in line helped us to put them onto the counter. Being the only Post Office on the West end of the island, you can expect that it can get pretty busy at times. The staff is also very friendly & give advice regarding shipping items & delivery options available. Compared to other Post Offices I have been to (and will not name), this one is worth the drive to. read more

I'm in Nanakuli and the service at the Nanakuli post office is horrible. There is a woman (Denise) that works there and anytime I'm in there she complains to everyone that it's just her working there with impatient words and nobody is complaining. A woman just asked her what time do they open and she replied " we open at noon, I'm busy I have things to do" she rolled her eyes. The lady and I just looked at her with awe. I am having a lot of problems with missing mail and returned mail. They are friendly and seemingly helpful but nothing gets done.

First of all they need honest workers! 3 out of 10 of my packages went missing i gave them my information and they will give me a call back. After Im2 days I..... had to call them back to see what the holdup was and where my packages were ? Finally the supervisor comes on the phone and had no knowledge of what my complaint was about so I gave the supervisor all my information. then I was told by the supervisor that my packages were scanned in the morning time right before it was put in my mailbox.. I told the supervisor I get my mail in the afternoon time!! Then the supervisor tells me that they will call me back the next day for more information on where my packages could be..they're supposed to call me back on Friday but again never never do. Best post office on the West coast. I've always had wonderful service. It gets busy at times, like most post offices, but if you go earlier on a week day you can be in and out in no time. I've had Richard help me out several times, he is so professional and friendly! He actually carried a huge box out to my car for me this morning as I'm 8 months pregnant and couldn't lift it. I went to post office to see what happened to our package and we tracked our package and it says it should be delivered already to our house and we called Amazon and they gave us the number to call the postal service and they said that yes on their computer it wasn't a lot but when I went to the post office they have no idea where is our package no idea about who is attending our our mail and if we even have a female lady or if they change it from day today he has no clue and any question I ask her she just kept looking at me like she just didn't know she didn't care she really didn't give a rip about anything she just did not want to help so now this is an important package and we have been waiting and nobody knows any information even though the computer says that it was given to us in a locker we don't have any keys in the mailbox to open and nobody knows and nobody wants to give us any information manager called me I guess you never did I'm still trying to get to a supervisor this line I post office and it seems to be impossible I don't know I think these people taking people's packages are there stealing going on with the other two packages of they have been open so we have been missing there is definitely something going on there really needs to be checked out read more

Today is Friday, Nov. 14, 2014. I was just at Nanakuli Mall and noticed the flag was still hanging at Nanakuli Post Office. It is almost 9'oclock at night and the flag is hanging and the post office is closed for the entire weekend. SHAME AND NO RESPECT!
