The post office in Mililani is in a very convenient location. The intersection of Meheula Parkway And Kamehameha Highway. The entry way is a little tricky. You can only go one direction and parking is a little tight. I mainly dative to the far side to skip waiting for someone to back out so They can get close to the door. Inside the Postal workers here are friendly. However, speed is not their forte. I've never been here and simply walked in and out. This post office is always packed. I've never had any issues. I've never lost any packages. They do arrive on the mainland as scheduled. I'm grateful. Mahalo! read more

Got there near closing time to pick up a package and there was a line out the door. A kind Polynesian woman in the back saw the slip of another customer, as well as mine . The Hale'iwa Post Office still has that small, throwback, country-esque feel. As you walk in, to the right are the PO Boxes, on a wall about 20' - 25' long. If you continue walking straight, you enter another small area, maybe 12' x 18' with a counter and work area for the employees to the left. 'And of all places, a "public building." It's not like I took it through her bedroom window!... (I have some of those picturess too...) Clean, respectful, efficient, ALOHA filled: While visiting Haleiwa, I over shopped. To get all the goodies home, I need to mail it. I step in to the next USPS office I see, Haleiwa, and I see acts of kindness and Aloha every step of the way. One clerk? no problem, she swiftly handled all the random service requests that customers in line in front of me...and I have never seen service this good in any USPS office I use back on the mainland...pre-pandemic or during a pandemic. I admit, being from Alaska via Washington state, folks don't "see me" as a tourist, but this tourist was impressed. read more

i've been mailing things for years and recently moved to the island. in jersey, government workers could not care less about you and will treat you like crap. i was so pleasantly surprised when i started coming to this post office because the employees are extremely kind and willing to go the extra mile for you. i love this post office so much and wish other USPS locations were like this!! read more

What a cute little post office with friendly staff. We were leaving North Shore to come home and decided to pack a large priority box filled with Oahu presents and goodies that we just couldn't fit into our luggage. So I'm changing my review because one, I was very heated when I posted my last review but I'm giving this place three stars instead of one because after putting in a claim for a missing package of mine, they contacted me right away and the woman I talked to was so nice and very understanding and gave me a bit of relief knowing that someone is trying to help resolve the problem and trying to find out what could have happened to my package. I'm still a little upset that I don't have the item that I ordered but I feel better knowing that they are doing everything they can to find it and/or figure out what happened. read more

I have my PO BOX in Waialua and was tracking a package that was accidentally delivered to the Haleiwa post office so I called and spoke to Moana...horrible customer service!!! This woman should not be working w/ people she should be scrubbing toilets where she's not able to converse w/ anyone because she has abosolutely "0" customer service!! All I wanted to know was if my parcel was at their location if they could send it to the Waialua location what I got from her was she telling me I couldn't understand what she was saying talking to me like I was stupid, over talking me like a was a 9 year old, and not hearing what I was explaining to her. I reported her to the higher ups and will give an update. Boycott this place if possible customer service is trash! read more

Not many people can say they actually don't mind going to the post office, but not everyone has a Mayberry-style post office like this. The actual "office" is about the size of our living room (not big), but it's just fine because there's only a line around the holidays. The big shocker is the friendly staff. I mean, really friendly. They don't rush you, they will explain your options to you and give you the various prices, and they're rarely grumpy. Only four stars because they close at 4 pm and aren't open on the weekends. read more

If anything, I think that this place should be boycotted. I went in to ask for a package that was delivered and I spoke with a woman named Moana. ZERO customer service skills and spoke to me as if i was ten years old. I insisted on her checking the back for a package that the USPS Website said was delivered, but she kept insisting that I needed a yellow slip to pick up a package and that there was none under my name. After I tried telling her that she should again check the back for the package because the tracking number said it was delivered and that I did not get a yellow slip at all, she somewhat snapped and almost yelled at me to check my P.O Box. She did not help me at all and it was only until another lady helped me find my package that we discovered that it was indeed at this post office. Very unprofessional, unorganized, staff seems undertrained. And as for Moana, I think she would have a better occupation picking up trash on the side of the road. Again, she has NO customer or speaking skills. I have never ever done reviews for anywhere, but my experience here was so bad that I had to write about it so that no innocent soul would come in here and experience the same B.S that I experienced. On top of this, this post office keeps sending my mother's mail to the city office and everytime my mother and I ask, they state that "it is how things are and the post office in town requires it". Seriously? What kind of brain-dead answer is that? Please for the love of God, if you value professionalism and speed/reliability, DO NOT go to this post office in Haleiwa. Train your staff better, be more courteous and professional, and fire Moana. This place deserves to shut down. I wish I could give it ZERO stars after my experience. read more
