I originally could not get ahold of this company but after going into their office in person I shipped my truck and two of my large dogs with them. The pricing was more than most would pay to ship a vehicle but they got me on the next flight so it was worth it to have my truck in Los Angeles the very next day. All in all a great experience. We have used this company twice now to fly our furbabies on and now off island. They are responsive and reasonably priced considering you are flying the pets not on commercial airline and stuck underneath the plane (if possible given time/temperature) or by your feet. Make sure you plan ahead with time to get your pet's health certificate done (has to be done with 10 days of travel) and show up with plenty of time. I waited about an hour before I was able to dropoff my furbabies as they were having that many people dropping off their pets so don't think it will be a quick in and out thing. Cannot say enough good things about this company! Flew my two dogs from Honolulu to Los Angeles and they were well treated and taken care of. Only issue was the last second flight change in drop-off time due to weather but that wasn't their fault. They did give us enough heads up to be able to make arrangements as necessary. Flight tracker was a bit slow but they arrived in LA when they were scheduled to. I was able to pick my dogs up at 5:30am in LA with no hassle. read more

I needed to ship Pigs, my Guinea Pig, from Hawaii to Minnesota... And, here's the biggest problem, I could not fly with him. I had no idea how to make it happen. Alaska Airlines was the only company that could or would do this and they partner with Pacific Air Cargo for processing. I cannot express how stress free this process was from beginning to end. Many customers pay a liason company to coordinate the movement, but I decided to attempt it myself. So glad I did... No regrets! Anyone could do this without a middle man... It was that easy. PAC personnel were so friendly and showed genuine interest in my little pig. I could tell they loved animals. It really put me at ease as I turned over my baby. We showed up several hours earlier than necessary and the lady running the receiving desk (I apologize that I don't have her name... It was a very stressful period of time) double checked the paperwork for us to make sure we were hiccup-free when the time came to ship out. Pigs made it without a hitch. The process was seamless. I was very impressed and beyond satisfied. Thank you for what you do... You make a difference for these furry family members! Oh... I flew my 1991 NSX to Los Angeles from Honolulu with Pacific Air Cargo. They support the troops and offer military discount! I couldn't believe how quick and easy they transported my car. I drove onto a pallet and watched them load it on the plane. Quickly after that, I got on my flight and flew to Los Angeles. When I landed, I got an email saying that my car was ready for pick up! I was in shock that my car beat me to Los Angeles, FROM HAWAII!!! I came to pick up and it was as easy as dropping off. I drove it off the pallet and was on my way. Main points - 1. Cheaper than shipping a car on a container. (Depends on the weight of the car/military discount) 2. QUICKER than my own flight to Los Angeles 3. I make frequent stops at pacific air cargo almost daily. I must say they have made a lot of Changes all for the better , i have been coming here for years picking up a lot of freight from international waters , and I have had some long days there , it was hard to get help previously and the staff was not to happy to be there, that in turn trinkled Down and that caused longer wait time and poor customer service , I must say that was not the case anymore, the customer service was on point and I never had to look far to get some help, the employees all went out of their way to acknowledge me and offer me help before I even asked for it , the wait time for my shipment was extremely quick And the turn over time was very quick , I am very pleased with all the changes and look forward to coming back read more

My family recently needed to coordinate transportation of my Mom's remains from our Mortuary in Hawaii to American Samoa through PAC. Our coordinator was able to work with Ms. Darlene and the staff at PAC to take care of my Mom's travel arrangements. We had no idea that it was possible to use PAC to ship my Mom home to her final resting place. Everyone is so used to using Hawaiian Air when it comes to the 684. It's actually very good thing that we were able to go through PAC because the storm systems that ran rampant the last few weeks of February grounded HA flights heading to the 684. We used Pacific Air Cargo a little while ago to ship my dog from Hawaii to Minneapolis. My husband is stationed in North Dakota and we flew with United. Their planes couldn't bring Max in because of his size so one of the employees from Petco told me that he used Alaska Airlines to send his dog over from the Mainland. The thing is they couldn't send Max to ND too so the closet was Minnesota and we would have to drive there when we land in ND to pick up Max. When I got there the employees were very nice and friendly. We did the paper work and ran my dog before putting him in his crate. I don't have anything bad to say about them because my dog did arrive on said date and time in Minneapolis. I was afraid that his leash would be lost since we taped it on the top of his crate and t arrived too. Idk what went on when I dropped Max off and his trip here but he's here safe and sound and o couldn't be happier. read more

We have used pacific air cargo twice in the last month for our move to Hawaii. Each time we shipped boxes and our dogs with no problems. Boxes weren't damaged. The dogs weren't covered in feces or urine like I've read about with other airlines. No heat stroke either. We dropped the dogs off at their Los Angeles location close to midnight. Pricing starting at $150 and up depending on kennel size. Because there are employees in the plane with all the dogs and boxes, temp is well controlled and per the employees, they check on the dogs. Shipping boxes is based on weight. Very reasonable. About $0.85/lb. The more you ship, the better deal you get. Picked up my boxes at their Honolulu location. Gave them the shipping number. And they loaded it into my car for me. Quick, easy process. I picked up my dogs from the quarantine office at the airport for direct. Make sure you have the necessary paper work done ahead of time. This is my first Yelp and my first experience using Pacific Air Cargo, per a families request. I work with a mortuary, and our common goal was to have their loved one back home in American Samoa safely. From the beginning, follow-up has been awesome. Darlene Ho (manager) went above and beyond assisting the family AND our mortuary. The only unfortunate part was the weather. American Samoa recently suffered a typhoon; delays occured. Darlene Ho and I remained in contact no matter what our work schedule was. Communication was awesome. I was just boarding a flight out of Honolulu, Hawaii. And I looked out on the tarmac and I saw a very cold Pacific Air Cargo Employee. And I was thinking to myself "do they not have company jackets? Did he forget his at home? Because he was evidently very cold. There was no doubt about it. So I board my plane and I look out and see none of the employees have any type of jackets on. And it's freezing out there at 6 in the morning. Certainly every employee did not decide to not wear a jacket. This leaves me to believe this is some sort of company rule. So upon further investigation. I found that it is in their company policy they are not allowed to cover their uniform or put their vest over their jacket due to obstruction of their company uniform. They are not provided with company jackets come to find out. So this all means they can't wear jackets. I think it inhumane you let your employees work in the cold without proper attire. read more
