I often buy local souvenirs and ship them to my friends who live on the Mainland. The Saratoga USPS would be my usual go-to place but today, I found this one and it is now my favorite post office. This post office is located on the second floor of the Waikiki Shopping Plaza (not Waikiki Business Plaza/H&M/Ross). Just take the escalator from the front entrance (next to Starbucks) and once on the 2nd floor, turn left. Go straight down and it's on the left side (before Heidi's). It is a small place and not crowded. There is only one staff, a middle-older Asian man, who was soooo friendly and helpful. He did everything quickly and accurately, and I was on my way out soon. Love this post office!

Ok. Who even reviews the Post Office? Does anyone even mail letters anymore? Or packages? First of all, the answer is, I do. So here's the thing. They are hands down more reliable than other shipping agencies. Also, why am I reviewing this office? Folks, if you're visiting/ staying in Waikiki and you have souvenirs to buy, why pack it back in your luggage? Ship it back in their flat rate boxes. Our boxes of presents got back to the mainland before we did. Easy, efficient and no need to lug everything to the airport. Mahalo!

It's temporarily on the second floor. It's down the wing with all the little shops. It's only a small store front but serves its purpose.

USPS right in Ala Moana Center…read more.. Though it's very convenient I really wished that they have the self service kiosk outside as it just doesn't make any sense to have it inside while it's open doesn't do it any justice. Everything is locked up so you need to grab all the boxes and envelops to pack all your items as I searched and searched for a post office but now many are locked up unless you have the code to enter I guess for PO Box holders only. Honolulu locations do close quite early for folks like me how work during the day is the biggest challenge to get there in time to grab my necessities though still won't make it to ship it since everything is locked up once they're closed. Nevertheless love this location but parking is the biggest challenge so it's a love hate relationship I have by getting things shipped on time. Thank you!

This post was the shipping outbound of our souvenir package home, they lost it. Requested tracking,…read morethey said it was on to its next destination, waited 59 days before filing claim, with even putting 2k worth of insurance on it,, submitted all the receipts, claim was denied. For all I know the package never left Oahu. It still Shows shipping from Oahu 60+ days later!! Some local postman / freight pickup person stole it. A 47 pound box securely taped up an addressed for delivery, somehow got lost. How do you lose a 47 pound square box?! LOST. Advice to anybody shipping souvenirs/cloths/artifacts back to the mainland. Take it with you on the plane. Buy extra luggage to packet it. Pay the cost to bring extra souvenir luggage home, and never, I repeat NEVER use USPS to ship omiage valuables....

Thank you for the customer service every time I go to Eaton Square Post Office. This gentleman…read more is friendly and attentive no matter your needs. Also I have never had to wait because no line!

This is no ordinary post office…read more First off, it's not easy to find. Not by a longshot. It's not like you can put the address, 438 Hobron Ln in Waze and just drive right on over. That will only get you to beautiful Eaton Square. When they describe the location of this branch is in Eaton Square, they mean way up in there. You can't even see the office from the street. You need to find parking, and walk up into the complex. Way up. I had no idea where I was going, as it was my first visit to Eaton Square. To find the place, I figured I needed to think like I worked for the Postal Service. OK, so if I was Postal Service management, where would I locate this branch? I'd put it somewhere where no one could find it, that's where. Some place so rediculously remote, there's no way annoying customers could discover the location. Damn right! In the center of the square I spotted some stairs, but I couldn't tell where they went. Yes! That's got to be the way, I thought. Stairs are enough of an impediment to stop plenty of customers. I trudged up the stairs, and around a corner I noticed an indoor koi pond and fountain. Above the fountain there was a little mezzanine. I couldn't believe it, I had found the crazy Eaton Square Post office. There was one window open and a customer was being helped. I enjoyed the relaxing sound of the fountain and passed the time watching the koi swim around. I was very impressed with the customer service at this branch. The employee was helpful and efficient. Probably because he doesn't have to deal with the same number of customers other post offices do. Mikey C says: well played, Post Office Management!

Postal Services in Kaimuki, Honolulu, Hawai'i…read more.. I saw Irene M. check in at this Koko Head Post Office and thought, "i never noticed this Post Office before!" Let's check it out! The reviews warned everyone that it's a cozy place... yes, they're correct! As soon as I was organized enough, I drove over and parked in the paid parking lot behind the building since the metered street parking was full. The reviews warned everyone that it's a cozy place... yes, they're correct! There were two female clerks. Each of them was helping a customer... not bad! There are long lines at other post offices! Soon, it was my turn! The helpful, polite clerk was very efficient and explained everything as she went through my pile. Thank you very much for telling me that my friends should receive the mail by December 24th! Whew! Just made it!

Cozy place that has it all…read more.. Almost all if they had the self serve kiosk I'd be a regular at this Kaimuki location where it's almost hidden amongst the many biz it's surrounded by which is very easy to miss but with the OG blue mailbox that's placed right outside it does give the nostalgia of the days we mailed our seasonal items. With that I did need to send a box to a friend and needed a box which of course they have besides the generic I love the priority mail box packaging with the flat rate makes it easy to put whatever you need which was there for me along with the prices of what each box are. Right beside that they do have a area where you're able to pack/write or do whatever you need all nice and clean where I noticed a buck of flowers and noticed that they were pens...lol! regular ballpoint and sharpies as well that was a lovely touch to have but there was one thing that I did forget...tape...sigh! There was no line at all and I could've shipped my items but one little major bump in plans that made me frustrated but know that I have a convenient spot outside of the busy locations is here and love that it's a local residential spot. Thank you!
