The other ones were either in downtown or aiea, so decided to drive here since I have never been to the NEX before. The ups store is on the outside left side of the main entrance of the building. Very clean, and 3 people to help. Was fast and easy and the store was clean. I would return items here again. My package was 2 items but not boxed in one box could have been easily taped together and they usually help no problem. But she was just not helpful and not a happy person. Shredding services can be a a staple if you're in a household that doesn't have a heavy duty shredder. After calling around several places, this UPS location was the most amenable to working with files that needed to be shredded. Others asked for higher prices and that all staples and clips were removed beforehand. Those requirements can be difficult if you are juggling a bunch of tasks that don't leave much time for manual staple removal. This location is by the NEX, so be aware there are special parking stalls in the lot that aren't for regular customers. The staff was very patient and friendly over the phone. I had an easier time finding the location after giving them a call to find out exactly where to go and confirming that this location is also open to civilians. read more

This UPS store is located outside the NEX!! The staff here are helpful. They are also opened on Sundays. Check thief site for hours. They are an Amazon drop off location. They are also efficient and helpful and mailing out items or packing them in a box for you. They have items for sale for packing in their store as well if you need. They have a parking lot. You may have to park farther at times. Overall, it's very efficient and easy to access compared to other drop off areas. Especially since the lagoon Drive location is no longer OK for drop off. I needed to make an Amazon return and was expecting it to take a while, but this place made the return so fast! I went on a Thursday at about 10:45am and there were 4 workers helping people quickly. I was immediately called forward by one of the workers and he gave clear instructions. Put my item in the scale, he scanned my return QR code from amazon, processed it, and told me I was done. It was so quick I asked, "that's all?" and he said yes and I left very happy. I was in and out within 2 minutes which was amazing! Normally I have to wait a few minutes, but this place was quick and the worker I had knew exactly what he was doing. Highly recommend for Amazon returns. Also: Anyone can access this location. Shout out to the team at the UPS store at the NEX mall! We've been coming to this location for several years, usually to drop off an Amazon return. It is open to the public & there's plenty of free parking. Stopped here on Saturday, April 6 around 1:45PM to make an Amazon return. This location can get pretty busy & that day was no exception. They had all 3 windows open to service customers. There was a short line but it moved quickly. What I like about this location besides the quick service, is the awesome & friendly customer service you get. Some of the team members have been there awhile & it doesn't matter which person you get, they all deliver top notch service. It's been pretty consistent for the last 10 yrs we've gone there. Today, I had 2 items to return (Amazon). For a long time, I was the only customer waiting in line. I had the first QR code ready. I showed the manager, Romar, my second item. He saw that I didn't have my QR code ready for that one. He told me to step away so that he could help the next customer. Now there were about 5 people in line. I tried to ask him to help me (the UPS store on Ka Uka Blvd. always helps us with our returns, even if their line is going out the door), but he said there was a line. I, anxiously, got through the questions on Amazon for returns and while he was still helping that next customer, showed him the QR code, he scanned it and handed me my receipt. What kind of "customer service" was this? I'm glad others are experienced and know how to navigate returns. I hope Romar can learn how to help his customers a little better. The quick and easy way to send packages even with US Postal Service!! They accommodate flat rate and all shipping rates offered by US Postal Service without the Post Office hassle in their long lines. I come here when I need to ship to foreign countries and also for Amazon returns. The staff here are very helpful and accommodating. They are informative and professional. I've come here several times and haven't had an issue. Although I've signed up for USPS online services and have the convenience of printing pre-paid labels from home for all my shipping needs, I prefer to drop off my packages at this location due to covid-19, the post office has been extremely busy lately. However, it's been great being able to stop in for all our shipping needs. Conveniently located at the Mall @ Pearl, where you can dine, shop, and get a haircut all at the same time (military and dependents), otherwise this UPS Store is open to the general public. I had family leaving the island and had problems with their baggage which required them to break down a big box to meet airline standards and I decided to go to the main post office adjacent to the airport only to discover their line was out the door! So I drove out to the UPS store here at Pearl and was in and out of there in no time! It was awesome and I was able to make my family's cutoff for baggage with the airline! I will not apologize for how long this is going to be. It's gonna start off like one of those online recipes, but a shorter back story. For those of you with short attention spans, the employee by the name of Destinee went above and beyond even a Karen's expectation of customer service. Intrigued? Read on... I live on Kauai. Thanks to covid there's a bicycle shortage, everywhere. I popped over to Oahu for a couple days and decided I'd try and find a bike. After calling 8 places, I finally found 1 of 2 left in stock. I was overjoyed and couldn't wait to get to the airport and get home that night, so I arrived about 2 and a half hours before my flight. Unnecessary but I didn't have anything else going on. Upon entering the check in area, I was told that the bike needed to be in a box. I, did not have a box. I asked if I could sign a waiver stating scratches happen? No. Is there a recycling area of the airport I could find something? No. I start calling around. Bike shops, post office, Uhaul, anything and everything. By now it's 5:10pm on a Friday that's also July 3rd...it's looking like I'm either missing my flight or leaving the bike and neither were ideal options for me. Enter Destinee. She answered "hello, thank you for calling UPS, my name is Destinee, how can I help you?" I said, "girl, I hope you live up to your name, cuz I'm in a pickle" "Oh no! What's going on?" I explain my situation and she is helping me try and think *outside the box* (dad joke) and we finally land on the realization that I'm going to have to build a box. I explain that I've already returned my rental car and I don't think an Uber can take the bike to her and there's not enough time to ride it to her. She says, "well, I've finished my shift and I'm going to help you out. You pay for the boxes over the phone and I will drive them to the airport and we will build a box around the bike together. And she did. She legit put these giant boxes into her tiny car, and spent a solid 20 min creating the Frankenstein of boxes. It was a thing of beauty. And THEN when the Hawaiian Air staff wouldn't let me use the push cart (after watching this entire fiasco and knowing the whole saga of how I spent an entire day finding a bike to bring home) Destinee HELPED. ME. CARRY. IT. This girl. *deep sigh* I would have been up that creek without a paddle, naked and afraid, etc etc. She seriously saved my a$$. I had given her my number to find me at the airport and told her I would cash app her my deepest appreciation AND SHE SAID NO NEED!! I did it anyway and she deserved every dang penny. I have officially named the bike Destinee and will be so so thankful of her upstanding humanity every time I ride it. To the powers that be at this UPS: You have a diamond in your store. She deserves all the glory you offer. Raise, promo, gold sticker, whatever it is. Give it to her. All of it. She could have told me "sorry Charlie" but instead she went the extra mile to make sure you got the sale and got my bike home. A+mazing read more

The drivers on the road are the work horses daily and through the holidays and often working overtime to meet the demands of Amazon, eBay shipments alike. Customer service at various store locations are quick, friendly and professional in addition to shipping supplies being well stocked. Behind the scenes at the airport terminal from the planes, pilots, warehouse workers are equally giving their best to provide the most efficient and excellent service to clients and customers. The help didn't know how to use the scanner to process the returns and had no idea what to do with the return if she was not given the stuff in hand prior to scanning the QR code. They had an extreme amount of discord due to our kids playing in the store. The only reason you should come here is if you are on the base or are a captive audience. These people are awful. Love this location because unlike the one by the big NEX this one is hardly ever crowded and we can usually go in and out when dropping off a package. It is also conveniently located near the Commissary and BX so you can take care of any errands you need AND grab a bite to eat. read more

I returned several items to Amazon. Over the years this has been a regular thing and I have had no issues. This visit there was only 1 worker at the front and a long line. He was rushing and improperly scanned my items. Subsequently the most expensive item didn't get scanned in and I might be out of my refund. I did everything properly and showed him all the correct quick scan codes. I'm hoping there is video of the transaction to help my case with Amazon. I've had to open a Amazon fulfillment department investigation to find my item. I'm hoping their center is more organized then this UPS store. Needless to say I will not be returning here. read more
