I love this ASAP location! TIP: This is an Amazon return UPS drop off location! (You supply your own box and print your own label - make sure you select the right option when processing the return on Amazon) They are so courteous, even acknowledging your presence when busy helping another customer. This is first rate service in my book. They greet you as soon as you enter and are very helpful. This location is very close to my home and I can drop off my return on the way out to do other errands or on the way home, if I leave my house before they open. They do get a tiny credit for accepting UPS boxes so please utilize them. They'll let you know the pick up times for UPS, USPS (think priority flat rate boxes), etc. so if you record the times in your contacts you can be sure to get your boxes out timely. My friend told me that she comes here to return Amazon packages. I was shocked that we didn't have to drive to find a ups store anymore! This place is convenient for Amazon returns and more. Had a Nike package that was brought to this location from UPS. Didn't have a chance to update my I.D. so the shipping address on my I.D. Didn't match what was on the shipping label. The very rude guy told me couldn't release the package to me because my I.D. Didn't match the shipping address on the package. I told him I could show him emails from Nike, He replied with No i can't do that because you might not be the actual owner of this package and you could be another person with the same name. Finally he checked on the shipping label and asked me to give him thd tracking number and I did he Finally released the package to me. Avoid this place it's not worth the headache and the trouble. The advantage is fast service, friendly, reliable, location from where I live, offer P.o. boxes, and deal with most major carriers at one stop. This is my favorite place for anything shipping USPS, UPS or Fed Ex. Stopped by today to drop off a return for a purchase I made on Amazon. Such an easy way to handle all things going anywhere on the mainland. Normally I'm in and out in a few minutes but since I had Ms Sophie with me there was a slight delay while other customers and staff and owner took the time to pet and tell her how pretty she is....she takes it all in stride, got the receipt for our return and walked me to the car so I could take her for our next stop. We've been holding on to my son's yume. This is a long (7' 6") long bow Japanese samurai used in battle. He moved to the mainland and we wanted to send him his yume and arrows. ASAP did a wonderful job shipping to him with a very well packed and protected packaging. He had three bows to ship back each one valued at over $1,000+ and they arrived in perfect condition. Can't believe I haven't posted a review for this place. Have used them for years to drop off returns to vendors such as Amazon and others who have free returns. They are an authorized UPS Shipping Outlet and just a little a mile from where I live so it's super convenient for me. Latest hours are M-F 10am to 6pm. Sat 9am to 2pm, which is what I believe they've been for at least a couple of years now. Yes this place is really convenient for me but what stands out is the friendly and prompt service. You get greeted when you walk in and helped immediately unless they are already with a customer. I really like that they are consistently VERY quick to assist you, no matter which person is working. Today, I had to be someplace and was in front of their shop two minutes before opening. EXACTLY at 10am the door was unlocked and the OPEN sign lit up. Since I usually take in UPS labeled boxes or packages, they take a look, recognize this, immediately scan the item and ask if I want a receipt (for tracking purposes). The friendly older gentleman has explained the details of their UPS related service, such as the fact that I don't need to print my own shipping label for the type of returns I make. (I do it to speed things up when dropping off.) They also have a few gift items (items vary) which is probably great for folks sending care packages and there's a little extra room in their box. They also have greeting cards, just like the post office. They carry Blue Mountain cards, a higher end upscale card brand - really nice quality cards. Sign outside lists the services they provide. Besides the usual printing, copying, faxing, scanning, and laminating that these types of businesses provide, they also have notary service. I've noted the sign says they make keys, and since I need some every so often, I plan to utilize them. They also make rubber stamps. They also pack items to be shipped and I've seen repeat customers for this service (based on their convo overheard while I waited.) I believe they have another location but I'm only familiar with this one in Aiea on Moanalua Rd across from Waimalu Elementary, and highly recommend them. read more

Cool little joint for all your mail and postage needs! Located across from Waimalu Shopping Center next to the laundromat, Pizza Hut, and Tropic Fish on Moanalua Road. Its a small space with two registers and an aisle of mail boxes to rent. They partner with UPS, USPS, and FedEx so I recommend coming here if any other locations are busy and renovating. They have a cool service with DocuShred where ASAP charges 1.00 a pound to take your confidential files to shred. They dont physically shred those items in front of you but you would just hand over the documents in a box and pay for the service. ASAP is basically a middle man in this process. Dinged a star for being charged the wrong amount. Id come back here again knowing know all the things they can help with. We all love Amazon but sometimes we have to return stuff or return your old phone for small amount of credit and finding a nearby UPS or Fed Ex can be unattractive. Well, lucky for me I found this location called ASAP. I've seen it but wondered what this place was about. They're located across from Waimalu Elementary School with plenty of free parking stalls and wide open spaces. I got in dropped off my package and was out of there. No line. You can also send out USPS packages but the nice lady did say it's little more than the post office. I'm can live with that too because sometimes USPS line can also be unattractive. What sets Aloha Ship and Pack is their customer service. They want what's best for the customer; not what's easiest or best for them. I brought them an Amazon return and told them that Amazon was going to reimburse me for the shipping cost which was $150. (I was returning a Dyson cordless vacuum which was obviously a product that was previously returned. Owen suggested I call them and insist on Amazon giving me a prepaid shipping label; after 30 minutes in the phone with customer service, they agreed to give me a gift card for the 150 bucks! This is my go to place to mail anything. I don't remember the last time I went to the post office. This place is easy to find and they will always help you find the cheapest way to ship something. In some cases, they have opened my box and repackaged it into a flat rate box and saved me almost 50% off. And I didn't have to wait in a long line at the post office. I asked what kind of wait are we looking at and his smart-ass said "I don't know maybe 530pm." I told him never mind, we'll go elsewhere and left. First off, its not our fault you're busy. Try to be sincere and give a little patience for your customers. If you hate dealing with the pressure, maybe customer service is not your forte. This cute little ships-packages-plus-a-whole-lot-more shop is located to the right of Diner's in Aiea in the shopping center where Safeway, City Mill, and Starbuck's are located. There's lots of parking in the area fronting City Mill and Safeway. I'm here to ship a package back to the mainland. The package already has a label. It should be a one second kind of drop off. The skinny: It literally took one second :D I am still in amazement. If you want to know the deets, here's the long: Last time I attempted to do a one second drop off at the Kalihi Office Depot, it turned into a long, 30 minute process. To be fair, it didn't help that I needed a spot of tape but alas, I digress. At the time I posted my review for that 30 minute drop off experience then realized Kathy A. had posted hers about this place. I vowed to come here next time I needed to drop something off. So glad I did; here's how easy it went: 1) I walked in to ask about dropping off my pre-labeled package, 2) the man who took my package asked if I took a photo of the label, 3) I took a photo of the label on my pkg, 4) gave him back my package, 5) He smiles gently and says that the UPS person will be by soon. After that, it took me longer to acclimate. - Another second for me to be in disbelief. - A few seconds to give a laugh of relief. - And a few more to be sure it was that easy. - That one second drop off is so awesome that I immediately fall in love with this place. Next, I look around. There are helpful displays and signs both inside and outside the shop for envelope and box mailing supplies, key cutting, color copies, mail box rental, faxing (see photos). All in all maybe even coulda been out in 30 seconds flat had I not taken photos of the services this business offers so that other peeps could know what's offered here. I love this place. Had my box here for over 5 years and you get great service. They are very friendly and knows almost everyone by name. They always greet you with a smile. Awesome people, awesome customer service! When I go in, they know me as the girl who keeps forgetting her box key and always late to pick up her mail. Kinda shame but dats okay with me. What I love about having my mail come here, it's secured and the price is right! Paying the yearly rate will be your best deal. Check them out for their prices! It's the best that I've found. I just come here, drop it off, i dont even wait to get a receipt because i trust that my package will get picked up and delivered to the right people. Whenever I send stuff, they would always give me my options. From the cheapest option, to the most expensive option. She would always give me tips on where i could save the most. Do you need anything shipped anywhere??? Mail, boxes, USPS, FedEx, UPS, Aloha Ship And Pack can take care of it for you! They are a drop off point for the major freight guys so you can have stuff shipped via your favorite company and pay here. I once boneheadedly brought back a portable personal wifi device with me from Japan and realized it while I was flying back. The very next morning I went to ASAP and they helped me ship it back. Although it was quite expensive to ship such a small device back to Tokyo, Japan, it was very convenient for me! In fact, I FedEx'd it overnight and the next day it was received by the company. Being a regular customer of that company in Japan, they waived any overdue fees for me and I was grateful for that. Lesson learned. Also recently, I needed to ship an item for my photography equipment to Arizona and being that it was a high dollar item, I wanted to make sure it was properly packed and insured. ASAP was the first place I had in mind to help me with that task. The only thing that went wrong was that their Wi-Fi went out when I was there. I thought I wouldn't be able to complete my task, but they were so nice to go ahead and just take my phone number down so we could do an over the phone transaction. I appreciated this very much because it saved me a lot of time! They also have mailboxes that you can rent from them to receive packages if you live in an apartment or maybe you just don't trust the porch pirates raiding your stuff!! Don't have a box or packaging materials? No worries because they can pack your stuff for you for a very small fee, thus removing all of the stress of going around looking for shipping boxes and packing that chances are, you'll probably only use once. It's never fun going to the post office. So I thought I cheat and beat the crowd by stopping by Aloha Ship and Pack (ASAP). I was correct about it being empty, so straight to the front counter. Then it all begins... The older lady working look up at me (she was taping a box) and didn't smile or greet me. So I had to engage her by saying hello, of which she then presumed I was only there to drop off a pre-paid package. I informed her that I need to pay to ship my package (a return to an online company). She put my package on their scale (of which you can't see the actual weight) and said it was 4 pounds... Even? With no ounces? She then instructed me that it will cost me $25.70! The look I must've had on my face. I was baffled and mentioned that the company spent $18 sending it to me, and she said they probably got a commercial rate... But I didn't want to fight and went ahead and paid it. I have to say I was stupid :( I didn't look at my receipt until I got home and notice it had no details about the transaction, unlike the post office. I hate that! There's no proof of the service I just purchased!!! So I called her up and confirmed it was sent priority, and that I should've been given a tracking number. Again, it was just as frustrating over the phone. She had to repeat the tracking number 3-4 times. In the end, I went to the USPS website to get an estimate cost to mail, and entered the zip codes, weight, dimensions, etc... It came out to $18... Go figure. Do yourself the favor and go to the USPS directly (the professionals) and not get charged ridiculous amount of $$$. read more
