Instead of notarizing my signature he spent ten minutes reading my trust document dated 1997 and said he could not notarize my signature because the trust, which was drawn up by an attorney, was not legal. I provided him with government ID with picture and my signature, but that was not good enough, Other than, leaving me with a very bad taste in my mouth, he did me a flavor, he was going to charge me over $20 and I just went across the street to the bank, and they did the same notary services for FREE. This location sold me shipping with insurance on a box they did not pack. Then later they refused to pay when the item was damaged. Using a third party store, like this one, for your shipping needs is POINTLESS! UPS Customer Care can do nothing for you, because of this. All claims originate and get approved from the store, and the owners profit is too tight. He had no criteria for a pelican case (used by the military) and packing material, so he default not paid out. Never mind logic. Never mind the customer is a former employee and knows how to pack. In addition to that, my box was a week late, after sitting in the delivery van for two of those days! I was told the oversized and overweight details of it were to blame. BUT I PAID EXTRA for the same service as everyone else! Plus, the destination pickup location dates/hours changed without notice, so I had to make two trips. I filed this as separate complaint with the store too. Denied. UPS used to be a competitive, reliable, customer-loving company. Can't say enough good things. We came to the store twice in the past few weeks to get pension documents notarized. Amazing service both times. Kaipo was polite, professional and explained the process to us -- the second time we didn't realize that we had to bring the whole (65-page) document with us, so we had to print from a phone before we could get started, but Kaipo was very patient and even though we kept him past closing time, and needed the signed pages copied AND sent certified mail, he got the job done. He even weathered a copier jam in the middle of the process without getting upset! That guy is worth his weight in platinum. :) read more

Long story short. I came into the store because the USPS is closed. I started the information process and stated i needed a signature and a return signature. I than found out that they do 1 day mail from the UPS. So i asked does this have the signature and return signature. All this time I have stated I need the signature return for this is a legal document. I was than told YES. so I spend $83 .54. Received the receipt and waited the next day. Its now 9 May 2024 and found that there is no signature on there website and it was not delivered to the person I needed it to. This was delivered to a Business. However, when called the UPS i get the run-a-round and was told that there service i needed they dont provide and that its my fault for not knowing this. Then they told me that they do not provide this kind of service. If you don't provide this, then WHY would you allow me to send the document and not TELL ME that you don't do return Signature receipt. Just bad, bad customer service. I paid for a two day and expensive delivery service of a small envelope from Honolulu to Seattle. It turned out to be a one week effort for ups. I will never use this company and this branch again. Since this is a franchise store, I believe they charge you the max for extra income even if they know they can't deliver the promised schedule. I visited the store to complain but only a low level clerk was there and he claimed that his supervisor was "not in the office". Horrible service! Instead of looking for ways to help they look for ways not to. Went there the other day to ship return box to Amazon. I had a tracking number for a label but not the actual label. They said they could not punch it in. I spoke with Amazon and asked if a scheduled pick up was possible. They still said no. Are you kidding me??!! You can't have your own company pick up a box??!!! I live with Aphasia, a language disorder that affects a person's ability to communicate through speech, loss of ability to understand, caused by brain damage. Kaipo, the manager, helped me to understand why I need to change all my locks at home and elsewhere because I lost my UPS mailbox key. Harry provided me with a new face mask because I could not understand that I needed a new. Joshua helped me to understand how to use my debit card after I forgot how to. Melissa guided me through renting a mailbox, helping me to understand what I read. They, along with Josh and assistant manager Nohelani, represent the manager Kaipo's superior customer service. They go beyond the normal interactions with a customer, to make sure we feel heard, appreciated, understood, and valued. He combined UPS customer service with aloha customer service. read more

Had a 5 star experience at this location that had to be shared. Recently won free tickets to the lakers pre-season game (woot woot). Received notification that I needed to sign a release form, have it notarized and sent back within 48hrs. Tried going to another UPS store with no luck, apparently their notary person decided to go home a little early than scheduled. To add to the suspense, found this location on the day the forms were due. Came here and was helped immediately by a gentleman who I later noticed was the store manager, KAIPO. After notarizing my forms, KAIPO originally tried faxing them in for me but another associate had a 40 sheet fax job going before mine. He somehow knew I was bound by time (lunch break crunch) so he offered to scan and email the forms in for me for the same price! I was in and out in a matter of 15 minutes! I cannot stress the important of efficiency. KAIPO and this location delivered a noteworthy mix of both personable customer service in a very very timely manner. About a week ago I was frantic and in a rush to print a co-workers retirement flyer and card. I was on a time crunch and when I googled a print shop near me, UPS at the Navy Exchange popped up. I had been in there before, to return Amazon shipments, so I had no clue that they also do color print jobs too. When I called to inquire about their services, I was helped by a friendly clerk who confirmed they do digital print jobs. When I arrived, I was helped by another clerk who was expecting me and I was later referred to UPS clerk Harry. He reviewed my digital file and assured me he could complete the job and then proceeded to help me at the machine. He was knowledgable and professional throughout my visit. I could tell he really loves his job and by the service I received, he is also great at it! I really appreciated his help and soon enough my stress melted away. The best part was that my digital print came out perfect!! It looked so good and I was very pleased with my print and stellar service. I went to your location and told Harry about what, size box I needed for a gift I had to mail. I showed Harry the oddly shaped gift and he offered your services to pack the gift. Stubborn me declined and purchased the box. When I got home, I realized the box was too big. I went back to the store and purchased the smaller box. Everytime I go there, I am ripped off. Haha I printed 23 pages and I faxed one document on email. The total is around 9$ !!! But the staff told me faxing is 4$ only. So they charged me big for using the computer??? I will go there to print when I have to but for your own sake, you better use the computer quick! Or they will charge you crazy amount. They charged me for a strip of tape to close my box and then about $5.00 to print out a label from their computer. Avoid at all costs! Go elsewhere if you can. Worst UPS Store ever! Employees are rude as hell and they lie to cover up their mistakes. I asked them about getting a package delivered there and they gave me instructions but when I my package actually arrived they said they don't do such service and that they returned package to sender. I tried to track down my package before it was sent out and with the help of USPS they tracked it to their store and they actually shipped it out the next day but lied and said it was already en route. I went another time to inquire on setting up a mail box and employee looked at me and said you have to be military to rent here and walked away. It's unacceptable behavior and I've contacted UPS corporate regarding all of it so hopefully they'll work on getting new employees or give the existing ones proper training on customer service. read more

I used this store when I had to ship an unusually-shaped electronics device to the mainland. At first, the regular employees wanted to box it in a manner that would have cost me about $800. I knew this was totally incorrect because when it was shipped to me, the shipping was nowhere near that exorbitant. So, I asked them to let me help them pack it to make it fit inside a smaller box to lower the shipping costs. They just gave me some boxes and said do it yourself. They (regular employees) didn't help me at all. I struggled with packing the box for over an hour. Then finally the supervisor came in and he helped me pack the electronic shipment into a nice cheap box that saved me about $600. The supervisor was great. Unfortunately though, obviously he or someone else failed to train the other employees on what customer service is. I will not be using them again! read more

After having a horrendous experience at the Scholfield UPS branch I called this branch and Kaipo, the manager, told us to just come to him for the Notary services we needed. He stayed past his normal work hours to help fix the paperwork Schofield had butchered and actually knew what he was doing.
