(No pkg or label needed for free Amazon returns.) They sometimes have multiple staff working so it's quick. Service could be slightly friendlier, but I will choose fast and efficient over super friendly - please note that they are not unfriendly. First time I went I apologized for having multiple QR codes instead of combining my returns. The person (I'm guessing owner or manager) said it was safer that way. Thanks for the tip! My UPS app showed that my package was delivered at 11:16 a.m. I went to the store immediately after work at approximately 2:39 p.m., showed my ID and the UPS tracking information, and was told that they did not have my package. When I asked what I should do next, I was told to call the UPS 800 number. I left the store, contacted UPS customer service, and they confirmed that the package had in fact been delivered to the store and signed for by the manager, Cara. UPS then emailed me confirmation of the delivery and signature. I drove back to the store and showed them the confirmation indicating that Cara had signed for the package. Instead of taking responsibility or trying to immediately resolve the issue, Cara denied that it was her signature and insisted that she had not accepted the package. While I was calling UPS customer service again from inside the store, Cara eventually checked the returns area and found my package there. This was especially frustrating because she had previously stated that she had not accepted the package at all. Mistakes happen, and I would have completely understood if the package had simply been placed in the wrong area. What made this experience unacceptable was the lack of accountability, the conflicting statements, and the dismissive attitude instead of a simple apology and effort to correct the mistake. A package that was delivered and signed for that morning somehow ended up in the returns pile the same day, and I had to make multiple calls and two trips to the store just to prove that they had received it. Based on this experience, I will not use this location again. Customers trusting this store with their packages should be aware that items can apparently be misplaced, and the level of due diligence and accountability I experienced was extremely poor. Very disappointing customer service.

I called in the morning to inquire about the process since I have always received boxes from Japan but was never on the sending end. Shimizu answered all of my questions and assisted me when I was there. She made what seemed like a difficult process rather simple. The location is easy to find if you're familiar with the Halawa/Red Hill area or use GPS. There are an abundance of warehouses on the road leading to Yamato Transport's location which is at the end on the left-hand side. There are no designated parking spaces exclusive for the business in its shared lot. There is only one way in which is through a door that needs to be opened from the inside after pressing the button for service on the intercom. The box I used was purchased elsewhere but I was told they have select sizes available for $10. I sent my parcel via International TA-Q-BIN Eco which worked out for me since the contents were multiple of the same item. I left the box unsealed so the contents could be verified. You will need to complete data entry on their website in order for your stuff to be sent. While there is an English section on the main Yamato Transport website, the link for the data entry is purely in Japanese. If you're like me and can only read a handful of kanji, an employee will need to help you. I completed it on my smartphone while there. Payment is determined on the method that's selected at the end of the data entry process. My recipient opted to pay for everything, so I selected cash-on-delivery where he will pay the courier when he receives the box. In the end, I didn't have to pay for a thing (besides my box). Not sure if I will ever need to use the service again but it was definitely a good and interesting experience.

Unfortunately, I had to ship something 2 Day, so I stayed. I honestly thought I'd be there for at least 30 minutes. I believe her name was Allyssa, and let me tell you, her efficiency and speed were seriously impressive. There was another employee at the counter, but they were already assisting another customer, so Allyssa was the one handling the rest of the line. She somehow managed to get through everyone in less than 10 minutes. I couldn't believe how quickly and smoothly she kept everything moving. She was fast, organized, and efficient without making anyone feel rushed. Allyssa absolutely deserves a raise. Service like this definitely deserves recognition.
