However, he WAS REALLY PATIENT AND VERY KIND because he did answer all of our questions & helped us choose what we needed. Gerry is the current USPS clerk and he is a great guy, he always goes beyond the expectations of normal customer service. He is experienced and knows the regulations and can help come up with a mailing solution for whatever you need to ship. You will not find better customer service, Gerry is the best. In the lobby they have all the priority flat rate and mailing envelopes you might need and they are free. My UPS app showed that my package was delivered at 11:16 a.m. I went to the store immediately after work at approximately 2:39 p.m., showed my ID and the UPS tracking information, and was told that they did not have my package. When I asked what I should do next, I was told to call the UPS 800 number. I left the store, contacted UPS customer service, and they confirmed that the package had in fact been delivered to the store and signed for by the manager, Cara. UPS then emailed me confirmation of the delivery and signature. I drove back to the store and showed them the confirmation indicating that Cara had signed for the package. Instead of taking responsibility or trying to immediately resolve the issue, Cara denied that it was her signature and insisted that she had not accepted the package. While I was calling UPS customer service again from inside the store, Cara eventually checked the returns area and found my package there. This was especially frustrating because she had previously stated that she had not accepted the package at all. Mistakes happen, and I would have completely understood if the package had simply been placed in the wrong area. What made this experience unacceptable was the lack of accountability, the conflicting statements, and the dismissive attitude instead of a simple apology and effort to correct the mistake. A package that was delivered and signed for that morning somehow ended up in the returns pile the same day, and I had to make multiple calls and two trips to the store just to prove that they had received it. Based on this experience, I will not use this location again. Customers trusting this store with their packages should be aware that items can apparently be misplaced, and the level of due diligence and accountability I experienced was extremely poor. A very small post office which serves your basic postal needs. You can purchase stamps, mail out Media Mail, First Class Mail, Priority Mail, Express Mail, and International Mail items. They have a small supply of "flat rate" Priority boxes inside the post office as well as "decorated" packaging that you can purchase. The post office itself can only fit about 7 people in line (comfortably) and it can get tight as people are filling out addresses or forms on the counter. During Christmas I've seen the line out the door (as expected with any post office) but since this one is small it makes it that much more busy. There is also a blue bin outside where you can drop off your letters and First Class packages (less than 16 oz) which will be picked up at the close of business. Hours: Mon-Fri: 10:00am-2:00pm. Sat-Sun: Closed. Even though the hours are limited, it's nice to have a post office inside the hospital... if you really need something mailed out and you're at work, this is a great convenience! Staff is friendly and the line usually moves quickly. (so long as no one holds it up!)
