It's kinda tucked away from the main road. Near the intersection of aiea bowl. Once inside, it has this really beautiful skylight design and the AC is strong. It felt so nice waiting in line; I never felt so good waiting in a PO line lol. The workers here are friendly and make small talk. It's cute. They have so many boxes out for people to take and even though there was a line, it went quickly. The guy scanned my QR code and took my box. It hasn't been scanned into the system though and it's been like 8 hours. I'm not sure how post offices work, but at the Ala Moana post office, the tracking on my packages starts only an hour or two after it's scanned. Idk why it's taking so long for this post office to start tracking my box. On my walk over, I noticed that there are quite a few hidden gems in the area. I am literally never in aiea, so this was a fun experience for me.

Located on Joint Base Pearl Harbor on the Navy side of the base in the same building as the Regional Mail Center (Bldg 479). This Post Office is open from 12-3pm. Parking can be a challenge at times but you might just have to wait a few minutes for something to come open. Gerry is the current USPS clerk and he is a great guy, he always goes beyond the expectations of normal customer service. He is experienced and knows the regulations and can help come up with a mailing solution for whatever you need to ship. You will not find better customer service, Gerry is the best. It was the Monday after New Years so I expected it to be busy with people returning gifts to Amazon. At 9:30 am the line was out the door with about 10 people outside and 5 inside. With only 2 reps working it went surprisingly quick. The third rep was helping someone at a table get a document notarized but after that she asked if anyone had just Amazon returns and was able to help them at the table. The reps here are very nice and efficient. Was able to complete my returns within seconds. All in all maybe waited 10 minutes from outside to being helped. Good job!

A very small post office which serves your basic postal needs. You can purchase stamps, mail out Media Mail, First Class Mail, Priority Mail, Express Mail, and International Mail items. They have a small supply of "flat rate" Priority boxes inside the post office as well as "decorated" packaging that you can purchase. The post office itself can only fit about 7 people in line (comfortably) and it can get tight as people are filling out addresses or forms on the counter. During Christmas I've seen the line out the door (as expected with any post office) but since this one is small it makes it that much more busy. There is also a blue bin outside where you can drop off your letters and First Class packages (less than 16 oz) which will be picked up at the close of business. Hours: Mon-Fri: 10:00am-2:00pm. Sat-Sun: Closed. Even though the hours are limited, it's nice to have a post office inside the hospital... if you really need something mailed out and you're at work, this is a great convenience! Staff is friendly and the line usually moves quickly. (so long as no one holds it up!)
